Song wanted for my HTC Polaris
Help me plz

what do you mean with song?

Yeah, what?

how about the 'sound of music' for a tantalizing tonetastic time on your polaris.
get it here - with play, so you can listen before investing in your song
glorious, just glorious
p.s. you can fit more than one song on it and with a memory card you can even store an album. (no offence meant, it's just my humour)

A couple of Music Player questions

1) Is there any decent graphic equaliser apps that you can recommend?
2) I find that when I use coverflow - it only does it on individual tracks. So I'll get an album cover of Tom Waits, but it is only one track. And the next one will be another track by another artist ( random ) - one thing I do miss on the iPhone is the Album art represents an album, and when you tap it it flips over to show you all the tracks on that album. Anyway of getting the Hero to behave like this?
cheers all
I spoke to someone last week who said he downloaded Music Player (which was new) because it had a GE - much better he said than the standard player.
But, he's not around and I can't find it. Would be cool to know where it is. Perhaps on the other Cyrtex (sp?) market?

mediaplayer doesnt play and display all music

Hi,
I have a problem with my mediaplayer. It doesnt play all my songs. Now i know you have to set it to: play all music in the player itself. otherwise it would play albums or whatever. Its on play all songs and still it misses songs. It goes from song 169 to 171....(btw its also not in shuffle) completely discarding 170. Its also not in the list of all songs. Why is that? Does anyone have this problem aswell?
Thansk in advance
I got the same problem when playing playlists, it misses off the last song I added to the playlist. I can't even click next to get to the last song. I can only play the last song when I go to the playlist and select it manually. Might be similar problem to yours.
Yeah this looks like the same problem! Thanks for answering my question...I'm not alone!

We7 does one but it expires after a period of time, you could try last.fm if you don't mind just selecting an artist and getting random songs from them, it works really well!
As I remembered there was a free version of Grooveshark.
looks like grooveshark is subscription now
I'm pretty certain I heard talk recently of Last.fm only being available on mobile devices for premium subscribers. Not sure if this is something they've implemented yet.
yeh not getting last.fm working either
i found a prog called tinyshark which is supposed to work with grooveshark (apparently subscription free) but it wont stream...need adobe flash
Soundcloud has some artists on won't be 100 percent though
Sent from my HTC Wildfire using XDA App
The new We7 app looks like your best bet. You can't select specific songs like you can with Spotify but you can search for artists and genres and listen to random songs. It also allows offline listening now which is pretty sweet, and best of all it's totally free! There is also a premium version which lets you search for individual songs/albums etc.
Check out the market link below.
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.we7.player&feature=search_result
i use music on line lite from the market found it to be really good just type in title artist or album and it will do a search and just press play on which song you want to play
There's one included with the phone. It's called "FM Radio". Guaranteed free of charge . Seriously speaking, the quality is OK as long as you are in a city or close enough to a broadcast tower. Not too much to choose from, but better than nothing.
i use "QueueTube" it streams only audio from YouTube. and you can add/remove songs (YT audio) to/from playlist just by long-press the song tittle... and since youtube has everything this app became my no.1 song streaming app.
hope i helped!

Help re music player apps

Looking for a little help on music player apps. Specifically, a tablet running 4.3 (should be updated to 4.4 in a month or two according to the manufacturer), all music will be on SD card.
Currently, all my music is album oriented and sorted by Genres, then Artists, then Albums. This works on my iPod in my car (both iTunes and car software work flawlessly) and on my MP3 player (both MS My Music and player software work flawlessly). I start with Genres, find my Genre and click, brings up Artists within this Genre in alphabetical order, click on my Artist and brings up the Albums, click on Album and the songs, in album order, come up. Click on the first song and the album plays all the way through.
I haven't found an Android music app which will do this. Many sort by Genre, then go into directly into Songs, in alphabetical order. Many sort by Artists, but with over 20gb of music and hundreds of Artists, this takes forever to get to ZZ Top.
Anyone know of a music app which can go from Genre to Artist to Album? If this approach works with iTunes/iPods and MS Music, I found it hard to think I haven't found an Android app which can do this. Tried about 20 players in Play Store and haven't found one that does this. All help is appreciated. Thanks.
P.S. No playtlists; no single songs; simply albums by artist catagorized into genres.
Have you try some of them?
Apollo - Music player:

beat (2.0.2) - a music player with floating controls

Google Play Music:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.music&hl=no
(I recommend you to try Apollo and see if it right music player for you)
All of these only allow single level searches. I'm looking for something that allows a three level search; first, genre; second, artist; third, album.
It seems ironic I can do this with iTunes and MS Media Player but not with Android. I must be missing something here.

Mixzing
In case anyone is looking for the same thing, Mixzing works. You can set it for Genres; click on your genre, it shows the Artists. Click on your artist, and it shows the artist's Albums. Click on the album you want, and it shows the Songs, in album order.
Exactly what I was looking for.

Music app which can auto-crossfade playlist?

Hello all, I am searching the net for a music app which will auto-crossfade a playlist of tunes. According to the description, it seems that the Rocket Player app can do this but I installed it and there's a gap between the tunes. Is there any other app I can try or if Rocket player can do this, how can I get support from it's developer please?
jet-audio
Thanks, I tried it, it is not auto-crossfading so I have written to the developer for help.
what do you mean by "auto-crossfading". if it has anything got to do with fading out the end of the current song and fading into the new song its there

I mean I select a playlist and the software will play every song on it's own without myself having to select song after song, like a shuffle feature but it will crossfade every tune so no gaps in between the tunes.
BlackPlayer! Does it all... I like a lot this new minimalistic toy

Same deal with blackplayer, even though the "gapless" option is selected it is not crossfading, would you mind checking the audio preferences in blackplayer on your android phone and let me know what else is checked so I can set mine the same way please?
You could try PlayerPro. Been with for ages, and always come back to it. It's even running right now, crossfading as you wish
Tapatalked from my Note 3
i think what you're looking for is something like Mix and Mash on iTunes. This program allows you to choose the songs you like (either individually or by playlist) and then you crossfade songs for any length of time. Plus, you don't have to play the entire song, you can choose to play whatever amount of time you would like and songs usually begin playing somewhere in the middle, so you don't have to listen to the beginning or end of a song.
Is there an app like this for android???
Poweramp. It's not free, but I believe there is a trial. I've used it for years now. It's one of the few apps have made the journey from Gingerbread to Nougat with me, lol... Turn on the cross-fading in the settings, and play any song from the 'All Songs' list. You can turn on shuffle or let the list play in order. There are two settings [other than off] under Auto-advance fading, one is to only crossfade songs that aren't gapless and the other is to crossfade all songs. You might have to change the setting to the 'Crossfade all songs' setting, as many songs I've tried don't seem to do it. This creates a problem if you want to listen to an album that is gapless (no delay between tracks), so toggle the setting as needed
I found one called media monkey and it has a cross-fade in the settings. throw a playlist in and it mixes all tracks with no silence
In case anyone is still looking, the best crossfade I found is "neutron music player" (evaluation version). All other players (Pi music player, dub music player) I tried will "crossfade" only if I follow playlist order, but there is an obvious break if I randomly pick a song from the list. I use this app to play pad music and have to choose different files as needed instead of following the order of playlist.
However, neutron has really horrendous interface compared to others. Not user friendly at all, I would have given it up immediately if I could find something else that works.
