This ROM won't be updated for a while. I don't have the time to commit to this rom and to maintain it right now. Maybe I will get back to this once I am done with my android/wp7s apps.

Welcome to the thread for my MagicROM! First off, I want to thank Secc123 for kindly sharing his kitchen for me to learn from.
This ROM was created using Ervius VK. I'm always looking for ways to optimize everything. I build my ROM around both Performance and Visual Appeal
I will eventually make Sense 2.1 and WM 6.5.0 versions of my ROM when I find time, but don't expect it in the coming days. I'm currently learning OpenGL ES, so I don't have free time to make these versions currently. Feel free to post suggestions and what you don't like. I will consider whatever you say.

-On the weather tab, hit Menu > Enable My Location > Agree > Update Now
Where can I find the option to manage my on-screen keyboard input?
This is located in Start-Settings-Personal-INPUT but it's hidden by default. Use your reg-editor and do the following:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ControlPanel\Input
Delete the "Redirect" registry value and soft reset. Input shortcut should be back in Personal folder. Thanks to carlos_polanco for informing me about this.
How can I disable weather to make my phone faster?
-This is why C0okie's Home Tab is so useful. You can make Sense 2.5 faster by disabling weather by adding the quicklink - Weather Animation On/Off Switch
How do I open the task manager?
-On the taskbar, hit the empty left side. This should open up ArkSwitch.
I don't like the start menu icons | Why are 1 or 2 start menu icons ugly?
-Some icons were not changed like file explorer and bing, and that was a bug that I saw after uploading the ROM. I will change it for the next build. Until then, check out JWMD Icon Changer V2.6b for Windows Mobile 6.5 and most of the icons I used were either from Dinik's HD2 iconset, or Dinik's Anastasia Iconset.
My Fuze hardware keyboard is messed up.
I will include this in my next release. For now, install THIS FIX and ProFuzeSetup

I will consider it... I don't text and I'm not an expert in that field so its up to everyone to decide what they want.
There are somethings that I don't have experience with, so feedback is much appreciated

i tried that but that wasn't the problem. I'm uploading a new ROM with the fix now. I've changed the HTC Messaging Client.

With my next release, i'm going to have a really fully loaded ROM. I'm working on the Sense 2.1 versions currently
I use to be a Chrome ROM user.
But ever since the Chrome ROMs stopped being updated I've been looking for another ROM to switch to.
Has anyone tested MagicROM to work for USB Tethering and Bluetooth PAN tethering?
May I suggest having the HTorch application cooked into the ROM?

I have found no way to configure keyboard to a different layout. With sheng's QWERTZ keyboard patch I can change layout of the hardware keyboard, but can't enter any german umlauts. But I can't find any menu to change the on screen keyboard to german layout. Any ideas?

Some observations....
it SEEMS that although the images have been changed from VGA to QVGA... the actual size of the links remains the same, so pressing anywhere on the screen opens the calendar application. (manila.m9 seems to have the code we need to change, but it's over my head..)
libgls_cm.dll seems to have a big affect on framerate (different versions drop and raise FPS signifigantly)
these couple of issues are what should probabally be fixed first... good luck all!

this is cool guys and shure you will make it work fully I rememberd when the htc home plug and cube first came we also had this slowdown problems but they got solwed after some time and are now just as fast on older devices as newer once so I beleive in you

my English is not so good, so i hope nobody take offense.
my impressions are that this cab is a backward step in comparison to the last release by Herg, cause this one is based on manila beta, instead of manila oem package.
this last qvga version works on my tytn II as was working the first beta posted in "did you configured..." thread with patched images and .m9 files. so fps 3.89 and 45mb ram.
the vga version that was posted by herg based on package was working; not in qvga, sure, but all the tabs was working perflectly although slow.
by the way i would not be able to made the work you are doing, so thx!

You have used files from my(very old) beta to make that version(search for NSA666 in file Manila\HTC\Home.m9), that version was not complete. you must also edit the scripts to make the controls work.

Impressive; i was waiting for someone to finally crack Manila; its a bit buggy but of coarse you know this already; and all the icons on the bottom open up the calender. Can't wait for the 2nd edition; and can't wait till someone cracks the Raphael UI.

we still have a few bugs to work out. soon it will work 100 %.
I found this on my PC from a very old version I was messing with... but if you replace your home.m9 with this one, the bar becomes useable.... it also messes up some of the graphics but it's a start... someone with even a little bit of programing knowledge might be able to work it out in notepad, I just can't right this second.... good luck!

the top text that says Home is running can be removed by going to calander and then clicking back to get back to the home screen (or if you have task manager installled at the top just click it twice)
This is my Raphael ROM, customized to my liking, so I decided to share it here. Thanks have to go out to all the great chefs here, who share their knowledge and OEMs
This ROM contains all the latest speed tweaks to make it the fastest possible. I like my phone to be responsive and I can' stand it when it when it's sluggish. Therefore I did everything possible to improve responsiveness and as you will see in the comments in this thread, this ROM flies!
I also threw in some eye candy, mainly a "crystal" clock, so you can actually see the background picture on your homescreen, I updated all the icons in the ROM from the new Windows Mobile 6.5 builds and changed the HTC green to blue, throughout the ROM.
UC (User Customization) is also cooked in, so you can install your own .cabs and .xml provisioning files after you flash the ROM, automatically. I suggest you look into it as it's a great timesaver if you flash a lot.

This rom is setup for an AT&T Fuze device, therefore the hardware keyboard is set for that layout. If you want your keyboard to work properly with a european HTC Touch Pro, I suggest downloading this cab and applying it, after you flash the ROM.

I like the HTC logo instead of the "Start"
I have a little question, when I use the keyboard on my HTC Pro it displays different characters for example if I press the "-" I get a "/" and ditto with the functions button i get taken to the Calandar. Is there a way to rectify this?

Go to programs,tweaks,and open registry editor.
Go to local machine,hardware,devicemap,keybd and then change the following reistry key:
CWSlayout,open that key by clicking it,change the value from 1 to zero and the problem is fixed

Thanks for a great, high quality rom (snappy and graphically beautiful).
i might have stumbled on a small bug tho, not sure since i have not tried to uninstall anything (atleast not this year) before on my touch pro. but since this rom is aimed for fuze i had to install a small fix for that and while i did that i installed a way to large collection of games to just to try but this is where my stumbling began... i found the game-pack useless and wanted to uninstall it ... non of my installed apps where listed under "remove programs", im pretty sure that at least the some of them should be listed there.

Exact thing happened on the last RRE rom. He made a cab fix for it. Ill post it up later if i still have it and if u want to try it or look into it. After installing the cab, soft-reset, then install all your cabs or reinstall for them to show.

I have a cab to fix it if you want to hold on another release
I look at your settingsfix cab but I didn't see anything related to fixing the policy responsible for this (102e). How did get that in there ? heh
Anyway, until I release a fixed rom, along with the Yota Contacts ROM, here's a fix. This will also display all the stuff you've installed so far, so no need to reinstall all your cabs...

Nope that wasnt it but I see you took care of it.

Top work! Very much liking this ROM, and it's super speedy and stable. Certainly the most responsive and fastest ROM I've had on my Touch Pro so far.
Anyone feel like copying and uploading their /Windows/StartMenu/Programs folder? I kinda accidentally deleted mine . It would help if you did. I just ended up customizing this and accidentally deleted it >.> and I don't want to hard reset.

Q:Why are my navi lights always on?
A: This is Xsense. Just go to Start Menu>System Tools>Xsense. Now uncheck light Navi lights on suspend. Click Options, apply settings, that's it.

Features:
1. Courtesy Settings:
- Select Volume Profiles to activate on Face-Down & Face-UP events. Choose from: None, Silent, Normal, and Vibrate. You can also choose to suspend the Phone when its facing down (duh!).
- Automatically activate/deactivate the Speakerphone during phone calls depending on the phone's posture. In other words, if you're not holding the phone up then it will automatically activate the Speakerphone.
2. Notifications-Sense:
- IF there is/are any outstanding notification(s), the device will vibrate whenever you move it at customizable intervals: Missed Call(s), Voice Mail, and SMS only.
3. Stylus-Sense:- When the Stylus is in/out: Will play faint sound + Blink the Back button's light +/Vibrate. Moreover, the device will vibrate whenever you move it at customizable intervals.
- When the Stylus is out and the device is moved: Device will vibrate twice on every posture change + blink the Back button's light to REMIND you that the Stylus has not been placed back in. This goes ON until the Stylus is placed where it should be.
* Uses "in.wav" & "out.wav" files in the \XSense\ Dir; you can use whatever wave files for this.
4. General Settings:
- Polling Interval: From 200 to 3000 Miliseconds. This determines the rate at which the G-Sensor is polled. Lower values give higher response times and fluid operation at the cost of battery life & CPU utilization.
- Flash Navi Lights: Will blink button lights to notify you of Profile changes and Stylus In/Out.
- Vibrate on Events: Will induce very subtle vibrations to notify you of Notifications and Profile changes.
- Suspend when UP-Side-Down: Your phone will suspend if you hold it up-side-down (duh!)

The Scroll bar in the phone canvas is actually a build issue. Some people have made "fixes" which sometimes work sometimes don't.

well, at least according to this post it is not. This is based on GSM ROM though since there is no CDMA yet. Maybe it is different from carrier to carrier... hopefully.
you will probably wanna post at the geek site too even though I totally understand why you don't but the cdma pro forum is much more live there

vk packages are meant for cooking into a rom. cabs for language addon packs will be added soon. the Tachi/Rhodium dialer is also required for full functionality. i included the WWE weather database as the default. you may replace it with your own localized database. (2330fc3c_manila)
it's possible to use different versions of these packages with the exception of the ContactUtilityEngine package. that one must be for manila 2.1 (ie you can't use one that was meant for manila 2.5).
Cab installation instructions:
disable all Today items and soft reset
install all combined support cabs for your OS OR all individual cabs for your OS
install Sense 2.1
soft reset
bug reports are welcomed on the off chance that i may have overlooked something during bug testing.
Note for CDMA users:
i integrated a mod to bypass the SIM card check when trying to send sms. make the following registry change:

Q: The animated weather on the home tab sometimes starts and sometimes doesn't. Is that a bug?
A: no, the animated weather only starts when the home tab was displayed before manila loses focus of the screen (ie opening/closing the start menu while on the home tab). by default, the animated weather will not appear if you use a custom wallpaper. use the weather wallpaper mod below to bypass that.

Note: Manila 2.1 grafix/qtc mods should work fine as long as they are using the same filenames/dimensions as those on Sense 2.1
only problem i find from only avaiable don salari sense 2.1 ROM,it has old style people tab, i know only htc device that has 2.1 is htc touch2 and that says touchflo 2.0 in software info and has sense 2.5 style people tab?
by any chance mate you think its possible to port the twitter tab into sense 2.1?? thats the only drawback of me from getting 2.1 on my device

to put it simply, sense 2.1 is manila 2.1 with sense 2.5's weather clock + weather background. touchFlo 2.0 is the little brother of sense 2.5 in that it was designed to have similar ui elements (probably for parallel marketing purposes). htc may never officially put all the sense 2.5 features in sense 2.1 as an attempt to get you to purchase the newer devices with the newer interface. that doesn't mean we can't mod it

i haven't really looked into that yet. seeing as how manila 2.5 is modular in structure, it may not be possible.

Thanks for the release bro. It will be really amazing to have the "people" tab from 2.5 to 2.1! It will probably be the best manila ever!
And hey "Tachi/Rhodium dialer" is NOT always required. The only problem faced without it is that when we reply to a message from the message tab, manila crashes. Thats why I have removed message enhancement from my ROM. So now you have to get into "messaging" to reply (but at least manila doesn't crash!)

Drive to another town and try it . I get the same thing at my home, but it works elsewhere (ie 12 miles south in another town or 900 miles away in another state). I think the problem lies in whatever database HTC uses to base your city off of your GPS location. I would assume that database is on a server and not on the phone locally (if it is on the phone, it might be able to be edited). Even if it does work in my house, it says I'm in a town 30 miles away...but it's accurate when I go to work in a larger town.

i can cook that rom,you know what once i cooked a rom which gives 405 Mb storage + 140 MB Program
that one will be great
eventually with a new version....without manila or titanium...a clean ROM that anyone can install just the wanted programs...

One issue: cannot make call to sender in SMS.

Thanks for this, I just flashed it and it works like a charm; I'm not a "cook", just an enthusiast user; I'll share my experience so far, hope you won't chase me with a battle axe:
- Why not change that stock Opera for v.10, it's been around for a while, and it's prolly the best mobile browser in the world
- An app to quickly change screen orientation would be nice
- If you'd include a more international keyboard app like fingerkeyb, or language packs for the stock one; my interest is Romanian, I'm sure all Eastern Europe users would be thrilled
- The S2U2 default settings were way off for my taste, I'm sure more impatient users will have a problem with it
- How about flash player; 7 is officially available, I hear 10.1 is out there somewhere, couldn't find it but it would be a damn nice addition
- GS Finder, Total Commander and other apps that have a certain window "style" have problems in the lower part, the window menu overlaps the icons.
