Not removed, just disabled...You have to perform the following reghack to get it back:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Shell\StartInfo\ and change Value 'HideSettings' to '0'

If you noticed tha last post here was in 2004. Since then the wizards here in xda-developers have cooked up WM 5 and WM 6 ROMS which are far superior to the original 2003. Just Choose which you want to install in your XDA. There are threads for both. Just read carefully instructions in installing AND how to get more memory.

The zoom function only works when you have the picture size at 320x240. If you have the picture size at 640x480 zoom isn't available. This is normal as far as I know. Certainly was for me on 1.60 and 1.72 versions. Didn't try it on the 2.06 SE version. I've gone back to 1.72 now, however.

I m running the Chinese at this moments, which I found everything is working fine, OS ROM + EXT ROM (Offical Ext Rom for CH)
I tested on English 2.02 & 2.06 found that abit not that good as the Chinese one, alot of other peoples saying got error on Today Screen, BT & etc

Uploading to RapidShare. Funny, at first the upload bar looks fine. Then suddenly, now 100% but it is still uploading because the upload time is still slowly decreasing.

Greek ROM runs fine on my English Hard SPL'd Topaz but still using Tess 2.2.1 since its a lot faster than the official Greek ROM. But its nice to know that I can run the Greek ROM without the usual lock from HTC Hellas. Maybe when they release the official Greek WM6.5 ROM I will flash it on my Topaz but at the moment Tess ROM with Greek Manila and Greek keyboard its the way to go! Fast Reliable and a WM phone that is running happily than ever before!

This is awesome. Can you please briefly explain what each file is, because it is not clear from some file names?
For example, the pt-BR files are what exactly? I assume they are not english? Is there a plain (lite) WWE version of all JG5 or JGx (or JF5/x) available -- one that removes all of the Samsung junk (absolutely bare bones lite version)? I prefer to get a next to 'empty' ROM and then just add the .cab files that I prefer manually, to preserve RAM usage and free up space.
Any particular differences between my current version PDA JE3, CSC JE5, PHONE JD1 and the new JF and JG versions?
Also, does anyone know of a similar link where one can find latest CSC and/or PHONE parts?
EDIT: Is there an O2 [UK] ROM out there? I am with O2 prepaid, but no matter what I try I have never quite managed to get the right settings for mobile internet, etc. I suppose this is a CSC problem, or O2 has specific ROM with settings for that.

Take care with the ROMs and 3G with your Omnia II, because your Omnia II is an i8000L not an i8000, you can flash .ebo, .mst and .csc files, but DO NOT change the .bin file, if you change it you will lose the 3G.
Okay, just realized that the 'latest' PDA/ROMs are in fact 6.5 and not 6.5.x which is my prefered version. I am quite disappointed now. Is JE5 the 'latest' 6.5.x version on Omnia, or am I missing something here?
Cant fint any JF3, only JF5 and JG5.
