What we need to change official rom to another ?

Here is the HTC factory ship WM5 ROM link. Bewarned that this ROM will change your SPL to factory default which means you will not be able to flash anymore ROMs till you again crack your SPL

hi guys i have a htc x7500 and now i'm using spl 3.5 with a cooked rom but becuse i'm from greece and i want to have greek keybord i want to flash to an origina htc rom and my question i do i need to change my spl and how...in other words which spl do i need for flashing an orginal rom.... thanks in advance and sorry for my bad english

You need to go to the upgrade section on this forum and look for the downgrader thread and once you have done that and flashed it you can load the stock roms as before.
now i have managed o get from 3.5 to 1.20 olipro and i nave instal a rom for 1.20 spl and now i dont know what to do how to put the original rom and what to do whith radio version...

Just a few days back i flashed my radio to that version...but now i wanted to update my rom version to 3.14.xx

even whenever i go to official htc site to download rom..my serial is this HT9BDNW04917 so i got not suitable for your device...as i have buyied this defice from uk and its a o2 unlocked device

First of al some important informations, if you go to install the latest stock ROM 3.14 it's important to remove HSPL first. (use HSPL2_RUN.exe and select a spl value.)
secondly, fore the moment there is no o2 UK 3.14 stock ROM out. so you need to use the GoldCard technique for upgrading your ROM to a 3.14 version.

I would personally recommend just loading HSPL3 and then just selecting on of the roms in the ROM Development section, as they usually integrate the new roms released from other providers with there rom.

It depends sir, even if you use a custom ROM build on stock ROM 3.14 it's recommended to install stock ROM 3.14 before installing this custom ROM's. And like mentioned before, stock ROM 3.14 isn't compatible with HSPL!

Can't i do that using hardspl..cause i have flashed my radio to 2.15..which is too not out yet for my O2 uk model...and this Gold card technique is a lil tough...also i read this..http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=8989286&postcount=30

I have a Indian HD2 and I want to try MAGLDR 1.11. But i have the official 3.14 rom with the 3.03 spl and the HTC website doesnt have any older official Roms. My S/N is not accepted in other regions ("Sorry, this software download is not suitable for your device."). My questions are:
1. Is it safe to flash the WWE 1.66.405.2 official rom using gold card method even though the website says its not suitable?
2. If not, How do I go back to older version spl so i can install HSPL?
well can help brother.. jus go to the site shipped roms.com .... goto the leo section select asia india 1.48... rom.. and flash it... then do this hardspl 2.08 and the radio thingie... i did 2.14 one and then flash magldr ...... do thank me..... and i did it ... indian hd2 works cool...

i need help can i flash any rom when i installed hspl 2.08 on my leo 1024 or does it only saves me from bricking my phone if i flashed the wrong one i am a little bit confused i don`t want to brick my new phone and one more question is ther any chance because i am from germany to get an official rom from htc in german for the htc leo 1024mb?
