PDM 5.0.0
It's gone about a year and a half since I've started writing the version 1.0 of the PDM.
It had to be an exclusive of ROM T.i.R. , and so it was for a long time.
Then came the ROM udK and Ervius, while the development of PDM was continuing with new deployments, and functionalities.
Given the growing success and the increasing demands it was decided to make the program pubblic domain.
I'd like to thank all of one who helped me by suggesting ideas, by making betatester etc., Especially I'd like to thank the great Maja, as well as for his ideas for all the enthusiasm that can be transmitted and then the "big" luigino99 without him the PDM would be empty.
They operate throughout the part that's not strictly programming, but without that the PDM will be nothing.
So thanks to you my friends.
I hope you appreciate the PDM, and remember that for me is always an hobby and that the development occurs in the few free moments that my family and my work leaves me.
E' passato circa un anno e mezzo da quando ho iniziato a scrivere la versione 1.0 del PDM.
Doveva essere un'esclusiva delle ROM T.I.R., e così è stato per diverso tempo.
Poi si sono aggiunte le ROM di udK e di Ervius, mentre lo sviluppo del PDM proseguiva con nuove implementazioni e funzionalità.
Visto il crescente successo e le sempre maggiori richieste si è deciso di rendere pubblico il programma.
Vorrei ringraziare tutti quelli che mi hanno aiutato suggerendomi idee, facendomi da betatester etc., ma in particolar modo vorrei ringraziare il grande MaJa, oltre che per le sue idee anche per tutto l'entusiasmo che riesce a trasmettere e poi il "big" luigino99, senza di lui il PDM sarebbe vuoto.
Sono loro che gestiscono tutta la parte non strettamente di programmazione, ma senza la quale il PDM non sarebbe niente.
Quindi un grazie a voi amici miei.
Spero apprezziate il PDM, ricordate sempre che per me è sempre un hobby e che lo sviluppo avviene nei pochi momenti liberi che la mia famiglia ed il mio lavoro mi lasciano.

How to register
To register send an email to [email protected] with code generated by PDM screen information, get in a short time the unlock code.
For ROM class T.i.R/udK/Ervius the release is not necessary, the PDM is already activated.
Help the community
This feature is used to send the cabinet are considered important to share with the whole community of PDM project, for keeping your device and to improve the performance, of course, must respond to the specific characteristics, FREE AND LEGAL!
Development aid
If you have suggestions for new implementations do not hesitate to disclose: [email protected] or in their forum.

As managing PDM is not a simple thing, there are rules to be observed:
1 - check that it is not already the cab you want uppare
2 - The description should be complete in every respect
3 - software should not be priced or shareware
4 - should not be an illegal software (or crack thus violating the copyright)
If not met these few rules the cab will be erased.

Come registrarsi
Per registrarsi occorre inviare una mail a [email protected] con il codice generato dal PDM nella schermata informazioni, riceverete nel giro di poco tempo il codice di sblocco.
Per le ROM classe T.i.R/udK/Ervius lo sblocco non è necessario, il PDM è già attivato.

Questa funzionalità serve per inviare dei CAB che si ritengono importanti da condividere con tutta la comunità del progetto PDM , per tenere aggiornato il proprio device e per migliorarne le prestazioni , ovviamente dovranno rispondere a della caratteristiche precise, GRATUITI E LEGALI!

Se avete consigli per nuove implementazioni non esitate a comunicarcele a : [email protected] o nei rispettivi forum.

Siccome gestire il PDM non è una cosa semplice , ci sono delle regole da rispettare:
1- controllare che non sia già presente il cab che si vuole uppare
2- la descrizione deve essere completa in ogni sua parte
3- non deve essere un software a pagamento o shareware
4- non deve essere un software illegale ( quindi craccato oppure violare il copyright )
Se non verranno rispettate queste poche regole il cab verrà cancellato.

In your system is installed "correctly" NETCF2 or 3.5?

The error that you have shown me is the classic mistake of a bad installation of NETCF, I say so because I write rom for many years for testing PDM, I am certain of what I say.
Try to reinstall netcf!! or another ROM

All the Microsoft original 21884 Builds haven two big Bugs. To example the Sms support in Landscape has problems with Manila and the visual of many Programs is not complete, the font’s are to big. Now the two bugs are solved, with this final corrected Release.

Si l'ho provata...mi sembra molto valida.. personalmente volevo sapere se il TF è personalizzato o fa parte della versione sense dell'HTC..unica pecca estetica secondo me è l'icona della batteria
tuttavia il mio raph è inglese, ha la qwerty inglese.. e non so come cambiarla... fino ad allora le uso inglesi XD
ps: per caso sai linkarmi una rom WM6.5.5 stock-like in italiano?

I'm happy to see, there are also italian alternatives for Raph.
I own a Fuze ,maybe others italian out there own it too, for future release, could you add the Kbd layout for it and the usual KBd layout switched we are used to see in this forums? I'm asking it because, usually adding it later causes a lot of trouble and mismatching fonts...
Now, 2 general questions:
any plans to release COM3 versions, sense 2.5 versions?
Sorry but i think that com3 versions are usable even if they are uglier.

Ho questa rom da un paio di giorni e devo dire che è perfetta. ho solo aggiunto l'ottimo NO_DATA_IN_ROAMING del gande dynamic+.
Solo due pareri puramente estetici: l'icona della batteria un pò retrò e lo sfondo del menu home troppo colorato per i miei gusti.
Continuo ad avere problemi con il wi fi (riconosce la rete, chiede la pass, ma non si connette) ma li avevo anche con tutte le altre rom.

p.s. Suggerimenti per il problema wi-fi? sto usando la radio Raphael Radio 1.14.25.35 ufficiale e ho provato anche la 1.17.25.09...
I'm testing this rom and i have to say that is pefect. I've only added the powerfull NO_DATA_IN_ROAMING from dynamic+.
Only two purely aesthetic opinions: i don't like the battery icon and the start menu background.
I have some problems with the wi fi connection (it recognizes the network, it asks for the pass, but it doesn't connect) but i've had it also with all the other rom.

p.s. Any suggestion for the wi fi problem? i'm using the official radio 1.14.25.35 and i've tried also the 1.17.25.09.

Si puo risolvere cambiando un paio di voci di registro (ho fatto così per un paio di rom).. ma qui è James che deve dirci dove
It can changed in easy way by modify registry (I've done it with other roms)..
I have no problem with wifi (my router is a Netgear). My radio is indicated in my signature

Il Gps? Sicuramente è colpevole la dll che fa parte del modulo telefono, e che in questa Rom non serve. Disinstalla la dll e vedrai che ripartirà il Gps

I have same problem, after reflash gps doesn't go; how can I remove the dll?
I tried to rename or move with totalcommander but was not able to.

Today I realized tomtom and googlemap fixed satellites, but In my opinion after longer time before previus rom (james72 wm6.5 10-12-2010)
I disabled agps than installed htc gps tool and cleaned the memory; now gps fix in short time :-D.
I think the problem was some old file of last installation that produced conflicts.

Restyle is not so good but it's ok. In every rom James i have the same problem: in start menu (restyled in that case) i have 4 icon HTC_Calendar, Twitter etc. I cancel them but they return every time i reboot.
i'm trying 23557.
2 things IMHO could be added in future releases: grouped folders of progs (theres too many links in start menu) and a task manager to really close open apps (maybe instead of useless curtain that opens by clicking the clock [I really like the x2 taskmanager from SE experia])

I'm italian like you,i'm reading with interest about your rom's and i need some information:
I need a Rom Stable and fast,i don't need some "artistic" or complicated rom,only a software that i can use for business use (link to microsoft exchange server,office and very important,TOMTOM).
Also very important is number of contacts that rom can manage,becouse i have more or less 5000 contact in my address book and i need a rom that remain fast with this number of contact.
Wich one of your creation do you consider best for me?one with wm 6,1(that i already use ,created by Monx,which are stable simple and fast) or one with wm 6.5?

I) Non è problematica la cosa. Il motivo che ci sono 4 icone sono le scorciatoie al Manila. Possono essere fastidiose, certo, però molto utili, vedi passaggio 2.
Passaggio 1,
Eliminare le voci indesiderate Htc
Per eliminare questi “fastidiosi” collegamenti rivolgiti al Total Commander che sta in Rom ed esegui queste semplici operazioni:
Esempio vuoi non vedere piu la voce Htc Calender?
1) Entra in Total Commander, vai a Windows \ Start Menu \ Programmi ed individua la voce Htc Calender
2) Tieni lo stilo sull’icona finchè non esce il Menu a tendina e scegli l’ultima voce ossia Proprietà
3) Avrai una finestra con le seguenti voci che DOVRAI FLEGGARLE TUTTE ossia dovranno avere tutte il segno √
Solo lettura – Archivio – Nascosto – Sistema. Devi fleggare anche la tabella di destra dove c’è scritto Data ultima modifica e mettere il simbolo √ anche su “Cambia”.
4) Fatte tutte le 4 voci, dare Ok per ogni voce, dovrai fare questo passaggio ripeto per ogni voce.
Oppure puoi fare un’altra cosa come ho fatto io.
Passaggio 2.
Utilizzare voci quali Htc Calender al posto del Calendario di Windows
Prima di tutto controllati che tutti i contatti Windows siano ok, nel senso che tu non abbia doppie voci come succede purtroppo a me che ne ho una miriade.
1) Devi tenere aperta la tastiera fisica
2) Vai tramite Total Commander alla voce Htc Calender
3) Tieni lo stilo sull’icona finchè non esce il Menu a tendina e scegli l’ultima voce ossia Proprietà
4) Nella finestra avrai due voci, Generale e Collegamento. Usiamo la voce Collegamento ove in Target leggeremo la voce del collegamento a cui fa parte.
5) Tastiera fisica, premi contemporaneamente CTRL e C (proprio come la tastiera fisica di un PC) e ti copi tutta la stringa (fai attenzione perché se sbagli dovrai effettuare un Hard Reset, oppure per non succedere, copia la stringa su un foglio di carta (più sicuro)
6) Vai adesso alla voce Calendario (quello di Windows) e utilizzando la voce Collegamento vedrai una dicitura diversa da quella che hai copiato con Htc Calender
7) Tappaci sopra e con i tasti FN + V, incollerai a stringa prelevata da Htc Calender.
Adesso Htc Calender sarà lo standard Calendario per i tuoi appuntamenti
N.B. Il motivo per cui lascio questi “fastidiosi collegamenti” è per questo motivo, io mi ci trovo da sballo.

Nessun GRUPPO. Nella Rom ci sono 4 gruppi che ho lasciato cosi in maniera che ognuno possa mettere ciò che gli aggrada. Ad esempio nel gruppo "Office" c'è la calcolatrice Htc, che ad esempio a te potrebbe piacere, ma che io "odio" sistematicamente.
Ti ripeto, nessun gruppo, che ognuno manualmente mette quello che vuole DOVE vuole, poichè la Calcolatrice a me potrebbe piacere in quel gruppo come a te potrebbe piacere in un altro gruppo
Per quanto concerne la voce del task Manager, beh c'è. Non si chiama Task Manager, ma Showcase che trovi nel gruppo Programs. Il classico Task Manager di Windows non c'è perchè mangia troppe risorse di memoria e sistema.

Well, NOT GROUP. In the Rom are 4 Groups that I leaves free because everybody can put inside what he want. To example in the Group Office there is Htc Calculator.
You like it, but I "hate" this shortcut to example. I repeat, everybody take this handling.
The voice Task Manager is there. It don't named task Manager but Swowcase and You find It inside the Group Programs. The classic Windoww Task Manager eat so many Memory and System resources.

Nel tuo caso, caspita 5000 contatti sono un database enorme, io opterei personalmente (nel tuo caso) a puntare verso la 21056 (WM 6.1) oppure alla 21884 (WM 6.5) lasciando perdere direttamente le beta 7.
Beh, per la 6.1 penso sia il primo feedback che ne ha parlato positivamente Stex80 che è innamoratissimo della 6.1
Il mio consiglio e provare sia la 21056 (WM 6.1) che la 21884 (WM 6.5), valuta tu quale sia la migliore per le tue esigenze.

Cmq mi pare ci sia il task manager classico in questa rom, in quanto sotto all'orologio sulla top bar (ma proprio sotto, sovrapposte) c'è la freccina con le 3 righette..che poi sia quasi impossibile da premere è un altro discorso (anche se ci si riesce)...quindi volevo chiederti se c'è modo di spegnere la tendina che scende cliccando l'orologio (quella che ha lo zoom e altri collegamenti che ritengo poco utili).

Quella barra in alto con tutte quelle m.......e è stato progettato da Microsoft così, in confidenza lo odio a morte.
Hai infatti due orologi in quanto non tutti i Pda montano l'orologio ma ce ne sono due per via del Manila e le Build ultime nascono così con questa barra che scende.
Speriamo che l tolgono o che i ragazzi di questo sito riescano a eliminarla. Purtroppo non posso metterci mano nemmeno col registro di sistema.

I own HTC Touch Pro with stock ROM and Radio, I'd like to update it with your build 21884 and radio 1.13.
I'll do a backup of all my data (contacts, SMS, ect.) using PIM Backup utility. Will I be able to restore everything with the new ROM? Or do you have any suggestion to avoid to loose everything, any preferred utility to do this?

Per i new come te, ti ricordo che oltre a scrivere in ITALIANO, sei pregato di scrivere anche in Inglese, lo dice la regola del sito, se riscrivi manco ti rispondo più. Usa un traduttore come Google.
Tornando alla tua domanda, non era un discorso di salvataggio dei numeri in entrata, ma era un problema di numeri acconsentiti al momento che si scegli di mandare un SMS e di scegliere un altro numero al posto di quello scelto predefinito. Questo succede, perchè gli utenti, invece di seguire le discussioni, saltano subito all'ultima pagina.

I'm using 21908 with problems in messages, in particular with MMS, I'm sending but the telephon is going to be iced for a few seconds .. everything else works fine !!

Ok, fatemi un favore. Prima fate le dovute prove senza installare niente, vedete se è Ok, NON FATE NESSUN RIPRISTINO (credo l'hai mandato in tilt per questo) e poi reclamami i problemi. Intanto sto lavorando sulla 21915 che sicuramente ti darà problemi anche questa. Strano, i moduli sono sempre stati gli stessi e problemi non ce ne sono stati. Mah!

si, li invia, soltanto che da quando scelgo di mandare sms o mms e vado da manilla va lento ed e' capitato di bloccarsi il telefono pure .. quando li attivo dalla tastiera, sms/mms buttone, va tutto bene
edit: devo dire che sto utilizzando la 21908, da due settimane, senza installare programmi, senza "toccare" niente, solo varie personalizzazioni .. sono molto contento, soltanto che ci stanno evidenti rallentamenti nei SMS/MMS ..

Rom fast and stable
Ciao a tutti è da molto tempo che uso le rom di James72 cerco una rom veloce sempre con manila 2.5 attualmente ho installata la 2.5.016.5.3.5 con radio 1.14.25.35. Mi consigliereste una rom che faccia al caso mio, quindi veloce, l'attuale mi sembra un po' lenta! Grazie a tutti S.

Ciao james72 allora io ho la 23676 v2 e ho dei piccoli problemi:
-quando sto nella tag messaggi di un contatto se premo il tasto chiudi chiamata non mi fa ritornare al manila, ma devo spostarmi sulla prima tag e poi fare indietro;
-quando mi mandano un messaggio alcune volte mi sballa l'ordine dei messaggi e mi mette i nuovi in mezzo ai vecchi ed è scomodo. Se fosse possibile "staccare" lo scorrimento dei messaggi dalla scrittura di un nuovo sms, per non scorrere sempre su e giù.
Per il resto per adesso non ricordo bug importanti.

-Tag messages when I'm in personal contact if I press the call close button does not come back to Manila, but I have to move to the first tag in personal contact and then press "back";
-When they send me a message sometimes the order of messages are wrong and te telephone put the new sms into old sms. If it were possible to "detach" the flow of messages from writing a new text message, not always scroll up and down.

Thank you, no ... this is the ROM ... then you can easily install an icon set and backgrounds in your way. Compared to earlier there are only my icons and a background of my tester. Nothing else
