Coming from the the G1, I think sense is a very appealing UI, I installed custom Hero Roms to get away from the vanilla look because it's so bland!!! I would move this to general as it seems to be more of a rant than anything constructive towards development. Maybe you can PM a DEV and get some better results that way.
The dial/contacts is the worst! imo

I have never tried any other dialers, so I can't compare and contrast. But, my issue is the horrible lag. Every button has lag. Ending a call has lag. Starting a call has lag. When someone calls theres lag to end it or mute it. It's all just lag which leads me to accidently answering calls I shouldn't and missing calls I shouldn't.

I believe HEAVY development is going on from TW to bringGingerbread to our Vibrant.
From their Tweets lately, it seems there is a fair amount of progress and we may see betas in a next few weeks. Personally, I'd take Gingerbread over MIUI any day.

I really want to learn how to make roms and themes, I know I know, there are tons of tutorials and guides on how to do this. What I want to do is be someones apprentice. I learn really quick and have been repairing computers and troubleshooting them for about 10 years. My only problem is that I don't know coding. Just want someone to teach me the ropes. I know a lot of you devs are busy because of CM7 but I can learn really fast! Hopefully someone can help me!

First off, thank you for serving our country!
I can understand both sides of this argument. You defend our rights, including freedom of speech. It is just a quote, but when you have as large an audience as the net provides, you need to watch what you say and do. Even tho quotes like that are fine when you are with your friends, all it takes is one person to be offended and your done. Arguing isn't going to help, they have the right to their opinions too, you defend them as well.
Sometimes you just need to smile, say "you're right, I'm sorry", remove the offending item and carry on (it's how I've stayed married for as long as I have ).

would love to see this happen on 2.3.3 as, along with the annoying 4g icon that will stay on even if you're using wifi at the time (and for the tards that like to flame i know how to turn off my 4g radio DUH)
the 3D is a little narrower than the 4G so real estate is crucial at the stop to see all the icons without having to pull down the notification bar

Ok,i just came across this article and i have to agree that this idea sounds really awesome. The best features from various Carrier skins? Hell yeah!
For eg: I like this feature in TouchWiz which allows you to swipe on an entry in your call log and lets you either call or text that person. That would be a killer feature to have in Cyanogenmod IMHO.
Whats your favorite feature that you want to include? The official site already has a few listed out.

I especially liked the direct lockscreen information enhancement and almost all the native app enhancements.

if i remember correctly when ace got cm earlier, many noobs *****ing about doesnt like aosp contact because it doesnt integrate fb and aosp dialer that cant swipe to call. and both feature only got in samsung's stock rom.
and me myself missed the full battery charge notification

I'm no developer so I don't know for sure, but I'm guessing there is not, all that Samsung stuff usually relies pretty heavily on the TouchWiz framework, and it's been my experience that it's very difficult getting things running right.

Go to the S5 international forum and download a stock rom. Unzip and navigate to system/app or it may just be in the app folder. Throw it on your phone and try it yourself.

But I don't know what the effects would be (boot loop?, bricked phone?)... and I don't intend to find out the hard way.. I guess this is your personal help desk seeing how you don't want to try to help yourself and maybe learn something along the way. See how far that gets you around here. This is a Q&A forum. People are allowed to post their questions without having to worry about people like you who say "this is no damn help desk" so if you feel that way about people who ask questions no matter how silly they might appear to you, then DON'T BOTHER REPLYING! I did do my research about this. Don't assume that I'm posting without doing my homework.
There is only one posting somewhere where a guy pulled the gs5 keyboard apk and made it into a flashable zip for note. And I did try that and it messed up my phone.
So yes. I know why I'm taking about.

I did love the S5 keyboard too. and I realize this isn't an answer to your question, but the SwiftKey Beta comes pretty darn close to satisfying what you might be missing. you should check it out.

Guys, please.. This isn't youtube. Lets try to be constructive instead of destructive. With that being said, back to the topic at hand...As someone that has worked extensively with samsung devices, i'm 99% sure it won't work as a previous commentor said, most if not all samsung specific apps require TW to run them. My guess is to start playing around with some of the diff key boards apps in the market . I'm sure if the S5 keyboard hasn't been replicated yet, it soon will be.
If you are to attempt to pull the apk from the stock S5 rom or if you happen to find it online, don't worry about trying it out. It'll either work or it won't
