This is a clean rom of Windows Mobile 6.5.5 (Build 23541) with the default Microsoft user interface and no modifications to sounds, boot screens and such. I have retained a few applications which include
Adobe Reader LE
Arcsoft MMS Client
Flash Lite DLLs
HTC Camera Application
HTC Comm Manager
HTC Wifi Router (Added)
JBlend Java
Microsoft Marketplace, MyPhone and Live Messenger
Office 2010
Remember to set the device locale, time and align the screen post install. If you do not (the first two) Windows Marketplace will not work.

Yup it is the default one, but this is intended as a more 'Microsoft' build rom and it is easy to add another one with a cab file.

I quite like the HTC ez-touch keyboard, my only real issue with it is the hold delay, which is what? 2 seconds? should be 0.5 - 1 second at the most for speed texting, this is something fingerkeyboard rectifies.
But either way, with this clean rom, LOTS of new roms can be made thanks again!

There is a bug in that rom. When I'm trying to open battery settings there is message: "The file 'powerexe' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file.'.
I've done hard reset after flashing - nothing changed.

Thanks for pointing that out, looks like I trimmed the packages slightly too hard and missed the power screen. Just trying out a v1.1 of this rom and will post an update later today.

I'm going to flash your ROM as soon as the download will complete... have you a keyboard .cab to suggest? I'm really a rookie and I don't know which are the alternatives for the keyboard!

fatherjack360 are you cut off option to choose USB connection type (Active Sync, Data Storage or Internet Sharing)? Because I can't find that one.

Yes that is a HTC application not part of Windows itself.

Hallo, nice rom, thanks indeed for hard work. I noticed a stable, fast ROM. Still I have 2 things to mention.
1. If PIN is enabled, it is very hard to get to PIN menu after reset, only by going to Comm manager and activating plane mode and deactivating it.
2 . and most important, where is the utility to update ephemeris, GPS file support downloaded from internet?

Without ArcSwitch there would be no task manager capability of any kind, I am not replacing the built-in one (there isn't one, the normal one comes from HTC). I figured this was a fairly critical core thing to have.
