AT&T and Tmobile Network Settings

Anyone have the AT&T and Tmobile network settings? I tried using HTC Connection Setup with the windows mobile standard 6.1 and it doesn't seem to work. Is there a version that does?
Check here for the ATT settings and here for the T-Moible ones.
Thanks and thank you for not telling me to search I've spent the last hour going through archived posts for it.
No problem Actually, i didn't use XDA for this one, but rather Google.
I noticed these dates on those pages are kinda old. Are these current settings to use? I have a Tmobile Wing and wanted to be able to use the AT&T sim card on there for the internet, mms, text, etc. I know it will not do the 3G, but wanted to get it working to try it out.
Any suggestions?

[Q] HTC HD2 Android AT&T

I am using the t mobile HTC HD2, I have it unlocked and running it for my at&t network. I have also started using the android program through my sim card, so basically my phone is running on the android interface. It works great, however i cannot access the internet nor send/receive picture messages. I need to figure out the VPN setting or Proxy setting for the at&t provider. Since at&t does not have this phone they are unable to help on where or how to do it.
Anyone got this same situation and figured it out?!
Please help, thanks
Try adding an apn manually using the settings from here......
Cant guarantee it will work, but worth a try.
If it does work, beware of data charges. Unless you have an unlimited plan.
I dont know where i can put in a new apn, i can only access vpn settings, and the proxy settings.
isnt there anything under "connections" - "networks" or something similar??
if not then I dont know, sorry
ok i found where to put in the apn, i put it in, but nothing seems to work, thanks for the try though...
i cant be the only person using the hd2 for at&t right? lol
might be worth asking in the tmous section....
best of luck.....
idk what that section is, im new to this blog, can you help

Updated: HTC Mozart & Telstra–Battery Issues. “SOLVED”!
with 40 comments
Since the Mozart was released in Australia about 3 or 4 weeks ago, there has been a public uproar about the battery performance. Sometimes I haven’t been able to get 6 hours out of a fully charged battery with push email on.
I’ve been working with a technician from Telstra for the last 2 weeks debugging the issues. The root of the cause has come down to the way the Phone is configured to operate on the Next G network. By default, the phone uses the telstra.wap APN (Access Point Name) to connect you to the interwebs. Now the telstra.wap APN allows you to access internal telstra services like Mobile Data Usage & MyBill etc.
The “issue” isn’t one that “we” fully understand at the moment, it could be a configuration issue on the Telstra network or a software configuration change on the device. But Telstra understand the issue and are actively working to get a fix.
A workaround is available for all those who can’t wait for a ROM upgrade. All you need to do is add an APN in the “mobile network” configuration settings. The APN is “telstra.iph”.
Now this APN is specific to devices that require PUSH email & use a fair amount of data. The APN transparently proxies all your HTTP & HTTPS traffic over the Telstra network and improves the battery life 300%! I went from 6 hours to over 24 hours battery life.
To set the APN, go to Settings > mobile network. Scroll right to the bottom and click “add apn”. In the APN box, type “telstra.iph” and click the tick icon in the Application Bar.
Now, this is by NO means a permanent fix. What this does is provide a temporary solution for us while Telstra & HTC work on a fix.
The only “issue” with hard setting this APN, you can no longer get to the “My Bill” part of the Telstra Portal, you can still see “my data usage” and everything else.
Update: While hard setting the APN fixes the battery issue. It appears it stops people from purchasing apps via your Telstra bill. This is because the default proxy inserts billing identifiers as headers when you click “buy” via the Marketplace app on your phone. Now you”re using a DIFFERENT http server (the iPhone specific ones), which don”t know about the Windows Phone marketplace headers. To get around this, click the “change payment method” link before you click the buy button. This will give you the option of registering a new credit card.
Best Regards
USA using Mozart
Ok, I'm using a Telstra Mozart with an AT&T SIM card. Will this work for me? Usually if I change the APN I lose my service.
I have flashed the TMob_AT ROM by Ansar
Thanks for posting a 4 month out of date fix for a SPECIFIC issue only on TELSTRA to do with their APN, which was fixed months ago.
This post is totally useless and in fact incorrect as was resolved in December.
If anyone changes their APN because of this post, they are idiots.

Click to collapse
No, don't change it, you are not using Telstras network, and if you are they fixed it months ago.
I really have no idea why the OP pasted it here, pure stupity.
It was regarding an issue with the TELSTRA NETWORK NOT THE PHONE.
Do not use these settings if you are not in australia and on telstra. It will not work anywhere else in the world, and it has been resolved locally. Does not help in Aus any more either.
@OP [original poster] does your phone work with that APN change? probably not! while your enthusiasm is valued, misinformation is not! Test before you post!

[Q] rooted+unlocked vibrant wont connect to data

I Just rooted my phone using Super One Click rooter and unlocked it using SGS Unlock Pro app from the market. I'm trying to unlock it on Roger's network (i think its the same as AT&T)
Thing is i cannot connect to the internet/data on the phone, it says to check connection settings but i dont know what i need to change. Phone calls and texting works just not data.
Any help would be great, i am pretty new at this stuff and have spent the past 3 days trying to figure this all out
You need to change the proxy setting to those of your network service provide. Just call the customer care and ask them for the detailed info about that, they'll probably send you a sms carrying the settings for you to install based on your device.
If that doesn't work (I had that issue) just manually enter the settings after you ask the agent about them or better yet check them out on the internet. Usually service providers post them on their official sites under GPRS, EDGE or 3G.
Weird i just changed my APN to internet.com and it works

LG G5 Locked APN settings

Hey XDA!
First off sorry if this post is a train wreck, it's my first XDA post
Anyway, a couple weeks ago I was lucky enough to pick up a sprint LG G5, after countless sales pitches and lies from sprint employees I finally got hold of someone at sprint who was happy to unlock the phone for me so I can use it on my GSM network (walmart family mobile). Everything worked perfect until I tried to use data, simple enough I thought I'd just add the Family Mobile APN butttttt i.imgur. com/ z4GR3nU. png it appears the API is locked... I've never had this issue with a phone before so I'm guessing it has to do with it being a sprint phone?... I tried doing the ##3282# then went to APN settings from there and got i. mgur. com/ bKquCVB .png couldn't tap on any settings besides the OTA option and when I do it asks for a i . imgur .com / XmB93gl. png Any clue on how I can add a new APN? It's running android 6.0.1 and the model number is LGLS992 let me know if you need anymore info.
Any help would be amazing, so thanks in advance!
P.S. sorry about the image links... apparently I can't post any until I have 10 posts but the images seem pretty crucial
You need your MSL / SPC to enter and add a new apn
