There are some special message types.
Flash SMS
The Messages shows up directly after it was received, no need to open the Message app etc.
Silent Message (Silent SMS, Stealth SMS, Stille SMS or stealthy ping)
No message appears
Is there a way to log these silent sms arriving to my android?
Can we send flash/silent sms with android, any app for that?

Hi Folks,
I heard that Hangouts can handle both group chats and Google Voice, as well as natively working with the Google Voice manner of MMS receipts, but when I tried testing with it, the chats only showed up in the Hangout app on other Android phones, which was foreign to the other phone owners (i.e., their default is the Google Messaging app).
Group chats are increasingly being used by other school parents among my kids' friends, which has been causing all sorts of communications problems because I can only see the original sender of a group chat in the default Google Voice app for txt messages.
Does anyone know if I can use my Google Voice number for sending/receiving group chats that show all participants, and if so, if I can send messages back to the group in a manner that won't trigger their Hangouts app if they don't have that set as default for messages?

i need and sms manager with this features:
- sms blocking with word filtering (like go sms pro)
- message templates (or quick message or anything you call it)
- backup all setting online (not just sms! - for examples templates. i use a lot)
- no useless dumb parts like go sms pro and battery and ram friendly
i have tried:

go sms pro ( have all i want but backup... it only backup sms not setting and it have lot of useless parts like theme and blah...)

Some apps can ask authorization to call or send SMS.
All of these calls or SMS sends are easily logged on the "recent call" tab (on the phone app) or as a normal/classic SMS (on the "messaging" app) ?
In fact, i have uncalled numbers and unsent paid SMS on my cellphone bill this month..

in DND mode, I can configure that starred / favorite calls will ring for me.
Is there similar option for messages (WhatsApp / Facebook Messenger / Telegram) so messages from, say, my wife will be notified unlike the rest of the world?
