very difficult to understand what you are conveying in such broken sentences but let me try.
SE has virtually skipped Froyo and therefore there is nothing like an 'official' 2.2 and may never be for that matter!
The suggested link would take you to a custom ROM based on Cyanogenmod and built meticulously for the mini.It is the equivalent of Froyo and also has some additional features based on requests from enthusiastic users.
Your phone will not lose either its root or Xrecovery upon installation of this ROM since it has the same preinstalled.
Make a backup of your current status, download the ROM and follow simple instructions posted by the creator on the page in the link.
Trust this helps.
That's right. XDA is offer more support than the official one indeed.

SEUS Moved Froms Xperia Homepage

Hi all, if you need to find SEUS, it's no longer on the Mini SE page. If you need it I found it here:
http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/sup...ds/subject/updateservice/1.349192?cc=gb&lc=en
This is the Xperia X1 page, but I used SEUS 2 days ago and all good. Happy modding.
When i wanted to download SEUS the other day I couldn't find it for X10 mini either so I had to search for it on google.
I think this should be stickied or something
Yes, when I went to the Mini SE page and it wasn't there any more I thought...what are we going to do?! How can people start modding if the security blanket of SEUS is gone?! But somehow I found it still on the Xperia X1 page. Happy modding!
I always download SEUS from ... Seus.tk
Yep, probably they noticed us modders like to use it as a last measure, and leave us only with the PC companion
They suck. Specially because they dont give us new versions..
I am the owner of seus.tk xD

I tried to use that before and it wanted a username and password so I could never use it. Has anyone ever successfully used it? What's different?
the pro version is the seus for retail, so they give to shop owners etc, so they can update ericsson customers.
Cant remember were I got this but this is the SEUS I use it and works perfect every time if your mini pro is bricked. see attached file
Hey I dl'd that and it seems to work, nice find!
It'll be good for fixing broken phones, but maybe not updates. Our update days are surely over!
That's all I use it for, we will get no updates ever.

X10 mini pro ROM for ICS (android 4.0) and CM9

Can someone give me link where I can download ROM for android 4.0 and CM9 for x10 mini pro?
Thanks.
Hi, I see your new to the forum.
Android 4.0 is still under development for the x10 mini pro, Sony Ericsson's support ended with android 2.1 so there is alot of work to be done to get it working on our devices. I would recommend you wait a few months until a fully stable (and fully functional) version is available.
If you look on the development thread you'll see there are lots of other ROMs which are very good (Gingerbread for instance). However, take time to read and familiarise yourself with the flashing proceedures, it is quite complicated for a beginner.
Make sure you read the entire thread for the ROM your interested in, many people ask the same questions over and over again and people dont take kindly to answering them more than once or twice. You'll also find as a noob you wont be able to post on the development thread for a while.
Good luck and welcome!

I see that you are in Mexico, like me in Monterrey. I have a mini from Telcel, updated on PC Companion, but still do not comply with the requirements to upgrade it to Gingerbread or the 4.0. So, the questions are:
What do you have in your phone?
Can I change the ROM and still use it in Telcel?
Any help will be very helpfull
Gracias
There's not going to be Android 4.0 for the Mini Pro, or as far as SE goes for announcing; The ROM changes the phone's operating system, might update or downgrade a version, but the carrier is still going to be there, altough no Ideas Telcel and stuff.

what makes you say there will be no android 4.0-there are enough ppl working on it, and the devs here are pretty sharp, i doubt they would be saying their working on it if there was no point. Sony ofc will not be doing any more upgrades past 2.1.

Quick question about Sony Ericsson Xperia X10i

Hi all, very nice effort and job.
I've some questions please:
I bought Sony Ericsson Xperia X10i, this is my 1st experience with Sony Ericsson mobiles.
Under it's battery, it's written (Sony Ericsson Xperia X10i)
The mobile have Android 2.2.3
1) Is this forum for it?
2) Does it differ Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 from Sony Ericsson Xperia X10i ?
3) Last question please, If this is the right forum, which is the best( ICS ) ROM for Sony Ericsson Xperia X10i ?

hey deveron3 dont be so rude, just point him into the right direction.
well before some mod closes this thread, i must say there is no fully working ics rom, becasue of some missing sources for camera and fps uncap, but just search the development forum, try FXP ,champion's aokp,or VR's xperia s ICS,the 3 of them are fine for playing around for a while, and maybe for daily use if you dont need camera.
about diferences between a and i a is for american continent, canada ,and south america, i is international and its distributed in europe, and its radio bands.
and ,just ask in q&a for x10
peace.

Hey mohgaza,
I've tried 3 ICS ROM's posted on development forum:
Xperia S ICS <--- using right now
RemICS
AOKP ICS
Three are updating every week to get the improvement of each rom, the most reliable issue or bug is camera (only works with 6mpx)
for 2.3.*, i've tried the following and were very stable:
X10S V9 by Championswimmer
Feralab

ICS link
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1782771
from above link download
1) Xperia S ICS V4.zip
2) Xperia S add-on pack -5 lite.zip
3) google apps.zip (gapps)
4) ICS- Xperia S home launcher.zip
All of this are available in the above link and you flash them through xrecovery, so read and download... Flash the rom first and reboot.. once you rebooted and phones working come back to xrecovery and flash the remaining zip files... clear dalvik cache and cache partition and restart just to avoid any FC...
above rom runs on FXP132 kernel and im attaching it with this post... unzip it and flash through flashtool...
Xperia X10S link
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=29106815&postcount=3239
download the file from above link and flash it using flashtool... you need to paste this file in "firmware" sub-folder inside flashtool folder..
@udupa : thank u very much, thank u for the interest and thank u for the detailed replay. :good:
I've asked about the link for the stable 2.3.7 ROM, NOT ICS; since it's not complete yet.
U know, I'm not much interested with camera, I'll try this ROM.
But now, yesterday is the first day i carry Android mobile, i don't know what is root nor flash tool.
I'm watching some videos to learn much about the details and then try to do my 1st custom ROM installation.
I want to ask about look and unlook boot loader, Is it better to unlook the mobile, or work while the mobile loader looked?
many thanks & BRGRDS.

Xperia X10S is very stable and smooth 2.3.x ROM so if u want then use it and there r no issues/problems with any 2.3.x ROMs.... camera doesn't work on ICS ROMs.... so download Xperia X10S and flash it using flashtool..... you can download the flashtool from the following link...
http://androxyde.github.com/Flashtool/
OR
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=10738287
Install the flashtool first... read the instructions on that forum about how to use flashtool... check the below link
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=10879507
Read about it and let me know....
Unlocking the bootloader allows you to flash custom kernels as locked bootloader won't allow that... you can root, unlock bootloader install recovery(CWM), install busy box using flashtool... so look for it and read about it... good luck...
Hit the thank button if u like/want to...

[Q] Xperia U

Big greetings...
I am new on this forum and This is my first android phone and i am big noob for this os.
Please do not laugh if i ask something stupid.
I have few questions about sony xperia u, and I need some advice abouth this phone.
First i want to know how to downgrade from 4.0.1 to 3.3.5 (or 3.3.7, i am not sure) and is that possible?
I updated my Gingerbread to 4.0.1. - i wanted to see how my phone will work with 4.0.1
I am not satisfied because phone operations and performances are slower.
i was thinking if i do factory reset my old os - 3.3.5 (or 3.3.7, i am not sure) , will come back, but phone starts again with 4.0.1
Other question is - how to root xperia u and what i gained with that?
tnx
Odp: [Q] Xperia U
