sorry but i have this question to ask.. i am from singapore and if i debrand it will the phone still work well with my service provider? or it just remove the unnessary apps from the phone?

it will work the only thing it's do is to remove the unwanted apps, but try to send a mail to the website and ask about it

Listen, note your mms, wap and internet settings first and also any contacts specific to your network. Then should be fine to debrand.

I have an SE u20i, i bought it 2nd hand and it worked when i bought it and i've put the pattern in 2 many times. My mate showed me log in pattern at time of purchase; which i did several times put it in my pocket and left the rest till morning, i woke up hungover as we were out on a leaving do for some mates now other blokes details set for security questions. email/ mothers maiden name. I'm ****ed and he's in the army and he's over 'there' for several months. I'm out of pocket a good few quid with no way of contacting him. Because of the nature of his job i cannot contact him and do not know where he's posted. I can unlock A1/A2 phones and anything up to and including DB2020, just starting to look at DB31xx. But i'm ****ed with this and i was doing this for my daughter. Could someone please help point me in the direction of any software links, tutorials, firmwares and other relevant info to get me out this whole. I gave the guy £90 for this phone and it was meant for my daughter. Can't really afford another £30 at shop which is what 1 cheeky f^^^&* quoted. I know these new phones are complicated but i would imagine as it's Android there should be a way round, i've put other sim cards in and there's a signal so it's not blocked, just locked. SORRY for the lon winded post just don't want people thinking i'm playing with naughty phones. I'm an I.T consultant and work in many areas but mobile modding/flashing is more of a new interest and my learning curve is only at it's infancy. Thank you in advance.
Have you tried to update / repaire with SEUS? If you choose not to back your contacts/messages/settings up, then I believe everything will be deleted when the ROM is (re)installed.
Download SEUS from SE site. Take the battery out to turn the phone off. Start SEUS and follow the instructions.

I have a question: Is "E10i CUSTOMIZED_UK 1237-0392 10A136" a firmware from UK and Customized by the operator? I mean, I want a firmware original from Sony Ericsson debranded device. You could get more firmwares?
I also live in Spain so I don't know if that firmware turn my phone into english language.

It's Generic UK and should contain Spanish .

Let me explain myself. The files are from extranet servers, correct but the files were repacked to be used by users. I let people debrand for free on multiple ocassions, and all I want is for users to respect the rules listed in my threads. If the download link doesn't work for somebody then I will try to mirror is myself in 48hrs. I also like to keep download statistics for myself which then can be used to look for popularity in files. If you have further questions in regards to this thread then please contact me through PM as the posts here are going offtopic.

Erm, isn't this tutorial exactly the same as that for the Xperia X10 apart from the X10 mini files? Not sure why you are somehow trying to claim a 'right' to it. This is the Internet after all.
Also, if I remember correctly, the instructions to debrand the Xperia X10 were first posted up by C987. You've got some nerve claiming that you somehow own this information.
Probably he want the "rights" to earn money by donations via PayPal, but that doesn't worry me...

First debranded X10 by SEUS was done by me (private). I didn't release the method until another person manages to do it in public. When Andy managed it, I released my tutorial.
Again, anything you want to discuss with me then write a PM and you will sure get a reply back.
I'm well aware of your claims of doing it privately, but why not just release it then? Also, my original post was to point out that you are not giving out proprietary information so you shouldn't stick caveats like that in your tutorial.
This method to debrand Sony Ericsson products has remained essentially the same for years, it's not as if these are new instructions. By all means restrict the use of the files that you have uploaded (after all nobody else has access to these), but don't claim any copyright on the method.

yea but apparently its his method and he owns it... its a nice tutorial and glad you posted it to help x10 mini users but going so overboard on the 'this is mine' 'no one else even copy and paste it' stuff is just ridiculous considering its been around for years

2)Also experience X10 user please please tell me what are some precaution or essential software which i need to install so that working of this phone make my experience best........
3) How to listen to FM ,since FM is missing in this phone . is there any external device or kind of software for this.

The official SE blog and android site don't said it...
just call'em and you'll see.
They haven't been working on froyo but now they know that they can do a good ROM for the SE mini pro so it's comming soon.
the numbers to call Xperia custommers service is just right there...

I think you got something wrong. We don't have the Xperia Pro..We have the Xperia MINI pro..and this device, as far as i'm informed, won't get Android 2.3.3 like the Xperia Pro, which will have Gingerbread at launch.

That's true, you may had mistook, try call SE again and ask about the xperia x10 MINI pro
in his first post he wrote x10 mini pro and the i in the shorthandle for mini i think so...believe him or not, SE will tell us the truth ;>
First of all: most posts by Kisscool841 are posted in THIS subforum (mini/pro). I guess he will be smart enough to ask for the MINI pro und just made a typo above.

But yes i'm sorry for the mistake i'm speaking as some of you said about the x10 mini pro tadaaaaaammm.
Next i had'nt said that in two days we wanna have 2.3 on x 10 moini pro, i've just said : "yes the french Xperia Hotline told me that we wanna have a SE ROM on android 2.3 in "sous peu" i don't know the traduction for "sous peu" but it's like : not in a long time.
I just don't know how many times but "sous peu" you know ?
I asked them about a flashplayer and their answer was go skyfire...
And now how to call SE ?
Works on 2.1 SE stock Rom not with everyone...
1) Switch on you phone by pressing the power button.
2) Enter Pin code.
3) Click on right corner the downest one.
4) Press every numbers one by one /!\ depends of your country /!\ list is is just right there
5) Press the call button (green phone)
6) ask to SE about "will we have 2.3 on x10mini pro ?" /!\ Be polite it's much more cool/!\
7)When you got an answer press red phone to disconnect...

Flashtool can't sim unlock a phone!
usely ppl ask for help in q/a but anyway
first theres no free way to unlock the x10 from what i have seen thus far
two nothing is 100% alot of ppl have lost money buying tools an thay end of not working

Ive been seaching around yet couldnt find the answer .
My friend bought this device from Japan and gave to me, however I live in malaysia and went to Sony center . They say Malaysia only sell sgp311 which is 16gb and currently the device im using I keep resetting and still theres apps which is Japanese . I don know how to use this as im apple user anyway.
Anyone can help in guide me so its friendly use for me as Malaysians?
