I have been using Resco Keyboard pro for about a week now and I love it, I find it to be far more accurate than others but do have 1 little annoying issue and was wondering if anyone else has this?
If starting a new message for example and you tap in the receipt box at the top and start typing someone name, my old stock keyboard would automaticly bring up the contacts ! the only way i can make the resco keyboard do it is by typing some of the name then press the back button ! and then the contact list appears???

i too used the beta version of the resco keyboard and had the same issue. the developer knows about the issue. and from what i hear there has been an actual release and i am not sure if that issue was fixed. have you tried to ask in the windows developement arena where it was originally started?

Hello everyone, I just recently updated to the lasted EnergyROM and I forgot to backup my 47dd6acd_manila file. My file was edited so that when I click an sms from the touchFLO interface, it opens up in the Microsoft SMS app, not the HTC one. And of course it is no longer on my computer, so does anyone have a link?

anybody know if this plays well with touch pro2's landscape view? i currently use one that is off centered
microsoft and htcs messaging service are awful, i like SMS-chat. SMS chat should be the official touch pro messaging service. its basically lag free and looks way better

I have got a Galaxy S2 and have used it the last two days.
When I'm in the web browser and I what to translate a certain word, I tap on it a bit longer and get the the three options "copy", "search" and "share". When I tap on "search" I get the options "Google", "Translate with Google", "Wikipedia" and "Dictionary".
When I press "Google", everything is fine,
When I press "Translate with Google", it wouldn't go on the mobile adroid google translate page, but on the normal mobile page -> The problem is, that the letters are very small and that it translates the words in to English as standard. (I'm from Germany, and I would prefer a translation into German as standard)
When I press "Wikipedia", everything is fine,
When I press "Dictionary", it says: the service is not available any more
Main problem for me: the translation isn't working well.
Is it possible to change the "Search-in-Browser" standard settings? Will it be solved with the update to 2.3.4?
I have used a HTC Sensation and on that device it was working all well.
I hope that someone can help me with my problem.

i am new to this forum and I have gone through all the threads here but I can't quite a find a solution to a problem I have, i am using a sony ericsson neo ,I am using stock ROM and I have not rooted my fone and have no intention of doing it as of now. i updated it to 2.3.4 build 4.0.2.A.0.42 last night and everything works perfectly except for swype feature
In one thread Frank had mentioned that we need to enable the swipe to write option , i checked in my fone and could not find that under text input settings. however i found "gesture Input" feature which had a similar description to the swype screenshot in the thread. i have enabled this.i had also removed the third party go sms app i was using for texts since it might conflict, but still the swype feature doesn't seem to be working,
My fone was originally imported from hongkong and I am using it in India. It shows a japanese and a chinese keyboard apart from the standard keyboard under the keyboard settings page, I have disabled the swype to switch layout feature in the chinese keyboard since it might conflict with swype.
i do not know what else to do to make swype work.
can someone help me out?
i have attached the screen shot of my text input settings and my fone status which shows the build number and everything.
i was unsure if i should start a seperate thread for this . I had added this in the Android 2.3.4 - MT15i 4.0.1.A.0.283 new Features/Bugs thread since it was the most appropriate thread i could find and did not receive any reply for over 24 hrs so I have deleted that post and started a new thread, if you want me to move it back there i can gladly do so.

Well, my phone is my sk17i Xperia Mini Pro.... and I love the physical keyboard and it works as a phone for me. I don't mind the small screen size that much...
Although for "productivity" and "school stuff" I have a Xperia Z2 tablet. And I carry both of them with me most of the time.
Although I hate overall on-screen typing. I want to vomit every time I use an on-screen keyboard.
And as I was looking on ebay for an external mini keyboard, I remembered that I have a really good physical keyboard on my Xperia Mini Pro. And another external keyboard would be yet another device to carry with me.
So my question is... is it somehow possible to interact with my Xperia Z2 tablet using my Xperia Mini Pro physical keyboard? Software, bluetooth, wifi, OTG USB... anything goes.... Suggestions?

Hello, I know this is a old thread, but now we have some paid apps that say that you can do this. I have nothing with the owner and did not tested it yet, but I'll leave the link below anyway. The bad news is the app only works with some OS like Android and Windows, for example. Hope it helps you.

Thanks for your reply, but at least on Amazon's FireTV Stick it does not seem to work. I sideloaded the app to the FireTV stick, startet it, but get an error-message in the first step: If I select "Tap here, find An2An Receiver from the list and enable it, confirm the pop-up dialog, then return here" > the message "Cannot launcher keyboard settings, please do it manually and come back". is shown. Also there's no real documentation, can't get it to work.
Hello everyone im having problems with xperia notepad app everytine i put in a short number it underlines the number and when i tap on it it takes me to dialer pad anyway to stop this from happening thanks
I think stock app uses hyper links. Maybe try an alternative app?
