Seido Innocase and Holster, Please help request this item. - myTouch 3G Slide Accessories

Seeming how the Amzer cases have been a no show, I'd like to request the XDA communities help in getting the Innocase and Holster made for the MT3GS.
I had this setup on my G1, and loved it to death. The holsters are made to fit the phone without the case, and one WITH the case. It holds your screen IN, so it is completely protected.
http://www.seidioonline.com/
They even now make them with colors.
I can also say one of the nice things about them (I KNOW they are not cheap), is that they are also lined on the inside to protect the phone from getting scratched up from the raw plastic getting dusty and the like.
I've asked them if they are making one, and they said that as of now they are not. But if we all request it, we can get it done I'm sure.
So please, if you have a chance, go request this to be made for us like we did with Otterbox. SOMEONE will make one...
Thanks!

Anyone contact them?

I had requested and received a reply of were not making them right now. I really hope they do had this for my blackberry and loved it. The lack of cases and skins is really irritating.

Thanks!
I have to agree, this was the best case ever for my G1.
I went to the T-Mobile store today and they have the black gel cases in. They fit very well, and were just super comfortable all around.
Unfortunately there is no place for me to hold the thing like that. I'm using the T-Mobile Holster right now, which is frigging great, but it doesn't protect the phone if the holster falls, or when the phone is in your hand. And the gel cases are thick enough they don't fit in the holster either.
Ugh.

Just contacted them waiting for a response.

I hear that ugh. I bought the clip too and though it works well, haven't had the phone get knocked out, I want something on the outside to protect it from me dropping it or one of my kids grabbing it.

Bump... Come on folks.

I opened up a chat window asking for the chat operator to pass it along that this is one of Tmo's most popular phones right now and there is a big demand for cases on this phone. Also, be sure to click on the "feedback" button on the left side of the page (FAR left all the way on the left border of your browser) and do a search for the MyTouch Slide "idea" and let them know you are interested.

Done. Blah blah.

Bump for a much wanted case!

Bump! Really want an Innocase. Has anyone also use their Innocells? The battery life, even with management, is pretty bad on the slide. I'd like one of those too.

My battery life is fantastic, lasts the full day without plugging it in, with pretty heavy usage.

Steven C.: afternoon
Steven C.: Why dont you offer myTouch3G Slide cases?
Steven C.: I see just about every phone exepct for the mytouch 3g slide
Jennifer: Good afternoon Steven!
Steven C.: one of the most popular tmobile phones, and android phones in general
Jennifer: The demand just wasn't big enough for us to produce it.
Jennifer: Management usually decides that based on demand and production capabilities and we just never decided on making cases for the mytouch3g slide.
Steven C.: Well, the development for the device is huge, and the fact that there is such a lack of GOOD cases for it seems it may be something management may want to look into thats a pretty big demographic
Jennifer: Interesting. Yes, we will look into it. We will gauge popularity of the phone.
Steven C.: maybe something that can be passed along to management?
Jennifer: Sure, I can forward your feedback to management.
Jennifer: We will review it and suggest them to the decision makers.

I emailed them telling em here at xda we want a CASE

Count me as another request. I also had a few friends dive in there and request also. They had the same complaint I did.

Tell them their competitor Otterbox is making one lol.

I just put in another request and did say that Otterbox was making one, but I would much rather buy from them, but if they aren't going to make one then I will be forced to buy from Otterbox.

Received a response of no were not making it at this time, which IMO means they will not be making it at all. Its a shame I really like this phone, but it seems it will not have a long life and will be replaced sooner rather than later.

Seidio InnoCase for HTC Tilt 2 (AT&T) - Not going to happen!

I just spoke to some folks at Seidio today and they notified me that their system has a note that the Tilt 2 for AT&T will never be produced as per their Product Management team.
This is an incredible let-down for myself, and I find it hard to believe that they can't just modify the case currently for the HTC Touch Pro 2 to allow for the PTT key, and sell everyone that case regardless of your service provider.
Anyways, if anyone but myself was waiting on this case,I guess we need to find something else which is a shame.
I was waiting for this case also. I emailed them weeks ago and the return email was on the line that they are in the process of developing products for the tilt 2. So yes, this news is disappointing.
My suggestion, don't spend the extra money for a half-baked case. There are PLENTY of alternatives out there on ebay. I have one and it's wonderful and cost about 1/10 of what any of these "upscale" brands charges.
Sorry, forum was messed up.
Yes, I purchased one of those and it did not come close to fitting my Tilt 2.
For those of us with a Dremel and too much time on our hands, is it possible to mod the Seidio case to a near OEM look. Seems like taking about 3/8 of an inch off the PTT side would be golden. Opinions?
I'm not personally interested in having to pay so much money to "make do".
What I've personally decided to try is the Seidio holster that works with out phone, and a GadgetShieldz full body protection. I was actually really impressed with how this phone looked and didn't want to hide it, so this might be a good compromise.
I use a hard case I found on ebay for about $9. It works wonders, combined with a holster side pouch I bought on the street in NYC for $5. Total $14.
MUCH less than anything Seidio wants to charge.
Just had live chat with Seidio and this is the result.
Angela: hello
Customer74: hello
Customer74: Will you be making the innocase for the tilt 2?
Angela: Yes, we will be, but we don't have an exact ETA yet.
Customer74: Thank you.
Angela: You're very welcome. Is there anything else I can assist you with?
Customer74: Not at this time, thank you.
I had a long chat with them within a day of the original post and they emphatically stated that they were not making it. Who knows....
methinks they're messing with you.
I spoke with them on the phone today (as apposed to the chat like last time) and they again told me that it was not going to be released. I was unable to get any more details.
By the time they get around to making it, it will be like wanting to buy a case for the original tilt - there will be another phone out all off us are moving to =P
I am afraid you are right.

I just applied the GadgetShield a few hours ago and it's already looking great!
Going to wait until tomorrow to try placing it into the case - after feeling the new rubbery skin of the phone (which looks great) I'm not sure it will work together.
When I talked to them in early Dec, they told me at the end of Dec. :-(
Is it possible to use the Touch Pro II case and let it just cover up the other button?
I saw the post regarding modification, just wondering if its possible to ignore the button all together.
I had this case for my original tilt and hated it.
Going with a full phone gadget shield and then a slide-leather case.
the bulkiness of the innocase is just too much for me.

Otterbox!

Just saw it today. Otterbox is going to have a case for the slide!
Otterbox dot come and look under HTC cases!
I saw it about a week ago. Its a bit basic looking, but knowing them it's as tough as a brick s%!t house. I own several of their products and can vouch for them. Great products.
Looks good, the more aftermarket support the better!
Finally!!
My only gripe is $35.00 for a case is off the chain!
But seeing as they'll be the only manufacturer of a good case
for this phone I'll shut up and pay.
Same, i had an otterbox for my BB. It was kind of a race, who would release my case first? Otterbox or Siedio? Looks like Otter wins.
Thanks drazile, finally something of what appears to be superb quality.
I ranted and raved to them wanting a case and was told basically due to the split slider design that they would not likely make one. I went back and forth for a month or more. Then finally ditch my slide for a vibrant and now I hear this! Well its still a great thing. Wife has my slide now so I may get one for her if I can talk her into giving up that god awful rhine stone monstrosity she has now.
Direct Link
Still listed as coming soon, I put my e-mail in to be notified when it will be available so I will let you know when I get it. Love this phone, but it sure hasn't gotten the love from accesory makers.

Body Glove.
I've been waiting for this too, but now body glove has one for 25 that looks better than what I see on the otterbox page. I dont think they are going to have a defender series.

Which body glove case are your referring to? Hopefully it isn't the one sold through tmo. That case cost a decent bit and was total garbage if you took the case off more then a couple times. The real problem with putting a case on a slide type phone is that there is nowhere for the case to get a good grip. They rely on these thin tabs that must be thin in order to fit in the cracks and not cause friction, but being thin causes them to bend and wear quickly when case is taken off repeatedly. So if you have a couple batteries that you like to switch between, a case is likely not for you on this phone. Im hoping this otterbox case will be different somehow, perhaps very high quality tabs. I would love to buy one for my wife but I certainly wont be a guinea pig after that pos body glove case.
bulkyglove cases ...
This bodyglove case looks to have a bit better coverage on the screen part of the slide than the one tmo sells. My issue with the bodyglove cases (besides the faulty tabs) is the amazing amount of bulk they add to the device ... too much to warrant a purchase in my opinion. The otter box case looks sweet but I am concerned the demand has not prompted them to make a production run. If you're interested in the otter box case please sign up for it at the site so they know the demand is there.
Just got the email, the MT3GS Otterbox case is available: http://www.otterbox.com/HTC-myTouch...tch2-20101022&cid=emu-lch-htc4-mtch2-20101022

But it only comes in black! That's fine for y'all with white or black phones, but I love my red one. Oh sure, some of the color would show as trim, but.....
That's not really an issue. How hard is it to remove and replace?
Looking forward to a review when someone gets one.
So who's going to be the guinea pig? I'm extremely disappointed with the Body Glove case tabs. After a couple months, I'm down to one tab, lol.

That's a downer I just ordered one from Amazon, but the bonus was it was only 12 bucks, and of course I got the e-mail from Otterbox about 10 hours after I placed the order that it was now available.

Sorry archie. You might have better luck than I did. It would've held up better if I didn't have to pull the battery a couple times. It's a solid case though. I'm still rocking it with 1 tab.

[Review][Case]AGF Soft Shell w/leather insert

I just thought I may as well post a little review on this case. I bought this case at the same AT&T Corp store that I bought my SGS II on Sunday.
This case has a very high quality feel to it. The fitment was incredibly tight though. This is likely because it is designed to fit both the international and AT&T SGS II devices. This should be obvious if you look at the fourth pic. It clearly shows openings for both the international and AT&T NC mic positions.
I have to be honest, I only chose this case because the Case-Mate and Ballistic options were far too bulky for my taste. This case provides enough protection, for me anyway, without adding too much bulk. I really wasn't too keen on the leather insert at first either.
In the last few days of use, I have come to really like this case. I even appreciate the leather insert. It provides a high-end feel to the case and provides for outstanding grip. The front lip barely covers the chrome bezel. I actually had to work the case to get it to completely wrap around the front of the device. The end result is a case that looks and feels like part of the phone.
At this point, I can say I highly recommend this case for anyone who doesn't need a bulky case (although they provide more protection), and who also wants something more than just a gel cover.

Thanks for this review! I am looking for something less bulky than the case-mate. I'll have to check this out when I stop in my local ATT store. How much they selling them for?
I believe it was the usual rip-off price of $35. However, they give me 20% off on accessories at this store (frequent shopper there LOL). I am sure there are better deals, but I did not want to take a chance of messing up my phone before finding a case elsewhere. I paid full retail price so a few extra bones wasn't that big of a deal.
I was planning to return it, but I can't find anything similar online. If I find it online cheaper, I will buy it and return this one for sure. Either way, I am happy enough as it is.
I just bought this case today. I love it! Its like a mix between a hard case and tpu. If you had the bodyglove case on your captivate, you'll love this case. I like the look of the leather back, as I think it adds some class. This case doesn't add that much bulk either.
That was my first choice but the store rep couldn't get it to fit properly so I went with the ballistic even In this case the phone feels tiny in my Herman Munster hands after the infuse in a ballistic case I love this phone just gotta adjust to it

I also got this case. I like it a lot, it keeps the same of the phone without adding much bulk at all!
I got this case for my AT&T Galaxy S2 on launch day and I LOVE it. The Ballistics were just ridiculous. As far as getting the case on goes, I couldn't get it to fit at first but if you put it in bottom only, completely lip it; then top, completely lip it; then work the sides, it will always fit perfectly. Sometimes I feel like Gollum caressing my precious Ring with this baby.
Picked up this case today and absolutely love it. It doesn't add much weight to the phone and i feel it still keeps it slimness. As far as fitment goes. It does fit damn tight. I put it on the best I could at the store. I squeezed the sides to get the lip to go over but never could get the bottom corners to cover properly. Once I got home, I took it back out, then put it back on in reverse. This did the trick and it went on a lot easier.
I'm probably going to end up buying this case ASAP... I was interested in it for a while, but was afraid that it may have been too bulky.
Thanks for the feedback guys!

I just picked this case up from the AT&T store today. I have to say, it isn't a bad case but it adds a little bulk to the phone. I have another case coming in from Amazon tomorrow so we will see which one is better. I am not really a fan of the buttons being covered though since it makes it a little harder to press. I can already tell that this case will offer a lot of protection to any standard drop.
This is a great case!! been having it since Monday.
One thing to note is that if you are getting a discount on your cell phone plan you should also get that same discount on any accessories that you buy from AT&T.
I too chose this case with my purchase. it was the best of the lot,but I cannot keep this case. it just does not fit. I get 50% accessories on my plan. I went back to a store (not the one I got it from) thinking that they might have others. When I told the rep about the fit she said they are having returns for the same reasons. Found one that seem better on ebay waiting for it to come in. In the mean time I will kee this case to protect my baby, but will return within 30 days.
On another note anyone got the ivisor AG screen protector? not sure i am liking it. It seem to make my screen dim because of the non-glare, cant seem to find any good one on the net, they all seem to be for the international version. things are new so I will wait a bit.

What problems are you having with fitment? While it does take a little bit to get it on right, it should still fit. I had problems with the bottom corners until I took it out then put in back on, starting on the opposite end.

The one I ordered and received from Amazon covers only the volume u/d buttons and has a cutout for the sleep/power button. I can press the power button just fine. I like this case better than the AGF from AT&T. It doesn't add a lot of bulk to the phone and was almost 1/3 the price so I will return it after work.

That one doesn't look bad. I see they made a large cut out where the power button goes. Don't really care for that big cutout but to each his own. Mine has actually become a lot easier over the last day or so. I guess the compound loosens up over time.
Just got my GS2 today and bought this case at the same time. I wanted something sleek after a Ballistic case on my Infuse and this seemed perfect.
As others have stated it's a tight fit. The sales rep couldn't get it on completely so I had to play with it myself. Another post stated putting bottom and top on first. I had better luck with the sides first. Maybe it is just loosening up after trying 2-3 times to get it on.
The volume and power buttons being covered are going to take getting used to as it takes a good press to work them.
To sum up, love the case so far. Seems to be good quality and good protection.
I tried this case on yesterday and did not like the fit. The ATT store only had one so I am going to try a few more to see if they fit better. It was tight and I couldn't keep the lip over the edges all the way around no matter how hard I tried.

Otterbox Frustration

Hey guys,
So here's the deal, I've been waiting and waiting for Otterbox to release a case for the Amaze and I've been disappointed up to this point. Today I went to their website to again browse the HTC devices with Otterbox cases and was astounded at the fact that both the Vivid and the Rhyme have Otterbox cases now...they pretty much just came out, especially the Vivid (this past weekend). Even more frustrating, it seems like every HTC device *besides* the Amaze is supported. I e-mailed them regarding availability, but we'll see if I get a useful answer. Anyone else have any other ideas regarding other cases I can look at getting outside of Otterbox of similar quality? Thanks...
The Samsung Vibrant took about 2 months. It depends on its specifications and how many are to be sold as to how quickly the box is made. If the dimensions are the same or similar to other models it can be farely quickly. Also if its a wider spread device (global rather then just regional) it will be quicker too. Be patient, im sure it will come.
Thanks for the response. I got an answer from Otterbox themselves that said there is nothing in the works as of right now, but I'm sure you're right, it'll just take time.

Yes in fact I Emailed Trident about a case and they said they will make one available later this month while otterbox said they did not have any plans on making one as of right now and if they were they still couldnt comment on how long it would take till they released it.

Hi Dennis,
Thanks for your email. At this time we have not confirmed if we will be making a case for that device. OtterBox.com will be updated with case options if and when they become available. Sorry for any inconvenience!
I also have an online survey that you can fill out and offer your suggestions:

Simple and enough said from Tridentcase I think so
You guys should write into Seidio. I think they are the best cases hands down. I always get 2 for every phone I have.
They said nothing is finalized. I know it's off topic, but for those interestd.

any one has a real life picture of this casE?
If you look under the trident aegis case thread a few people ordered the both types of trident cases. Someone said they will get the kraken one tomorrow and post pictures. There are pictures of the aegis case next to the d30 and Incipio case.
I sent OtterBox an email this week and this was the response on 01/11/2012:
Unfortunately, we do not have any plans in the works for this particular case. That is not always to say for sure that we will not make it. They best was to find information is to go to our website www.otterbox.com and there will be the most up to date information. If we indicate that we will make a particular case/color then we will put that information on our website and you will be able to sign up for e-mail notifications. Sorry for any inconvience this may have caused you. We hope that you will continue to buy from us in the future. If you have any other questions let me know if I am able to further assist you.

Looks like we'll have to rely on other vendors.

Zenus Vintage Leather Wallet Case

I'm not usually one to spend a bunch of money on a case...but this one looked to awesome to pass up:
http://zenuscaseusa.com/
Sold on ebay for $59.99
That's nice.. I'd use it as a wallet!! Lol

I also picked one up. I'm a little bit scared of the magnet messing up the screen, but hopefully the covers thickness helps a bit
As nice as this case is I'm a little skeptical about its practicality. For one the wallet/case appears to add a lot of extra bulk to the phone, kinda making it to big to put in your pocket.
Second, it is a case-wallet. Would you be using it as a wallet as well? If you are keep in mind that if you ever lost your phone you would be losing your money, credit cards, ID's, etc along with it. Basically you would be getting screwed in 2 ways if your phone happened to get lost or stolen.
Third, unless you have a Bluetooth headset it seems a little too cumbersome to have a call on. The flap seems like it will get in the way unless you fold it back.
Lastly, the price. $60 for a case is just a lot of dough. I'm not one to cheap out on a case but for this to work for me I would not only need the case but a full body kit such as Zagg, Bodyguardz, Phantomskinz, etc to go along with it.
Don't get me wrong its a beautiful and classy looking case, just not sure if its for me.
I like these cases a lot. I think they may appeal to many people. I have always wanted a case that incorporates a wallet. However, my ideal case would be a big rugged Trident, Ballisitc or Otterbox that allows you to slide in a few credit cards.
I should add that I like the look of the cases. I haven't actually seen them in person.

I agree with pretty much everything you said here. That being said....
I currently use a Credit Card Case for my IPhone 4S and have carried my License, Credit Card, and Debit Card with my phone for the last 8 months. I absolutely love being able to not have to carry around a separate wallet. I haven't lost my phone as of yet, so no worries about losing my credit cards...but I understand how that might be a concern for some. It just simply cuts down on the number of things I have to scramble around the house to find before I can go out. My checklist currently is (Keys, Phone, and unfortunately...cigarettes). Now...would I prefer to have it in a non-flip case format (like what I'm using now)? Sure would. But until someone comes out with one for the Note, this will have to do.
On that note (no pun intended), case manufacturers need to pay attention here. I suppose when a phone is as insanely popular as the Iphone's are, it makes sense to make a wide variety of cases. Android phones don't seem to get the same kind of love. I would buy immediately a thin case that allowed me to slide a couple of cards on the back of the case..but alas...no credit card case android love.
Will this hold the i717 tightly? My flip cover for the N7000 does not fit on my i717.

I asked a seller on eBay about this and he assured me that it would fit. I get the case today, so I'll let you know once i test a phone
No phone yet, but this case came in today!
wow! it looks a lot lighter than i expected. Still nice though ^^
How well does money fit in there? I pre-ordered one from ebay as well, and I'm just waiting for it to come in.
I've been using an iPhone wallet for months now and love it. I can't go back to using a standard wallet. I already got my hands on the Anymode wallet case with a swivel stand, but I'm not happy with the little bulk the swivel button adds in the center.
Since I'm a noob I can't post a link yet, but its one of the two tone wallet cases on ebay that have the picture window for the a drivers license. I also find that the swivel piece moves a bit too freely.

Money fits fine. Folded in half of course... But would expect to be able to fit at least ten bills. I don't use cash, but it's nice to have that little pocket to add receipts to and stuff.

Sorry to hear that!!!! When I ordered it said more than 10 left....Guess they had a rush on them.
My Advantage came with a case like this. Even though it offered great protection and the ability to stand the phone up, I found it to be too cumbersome so it never saw the light of day. I got a belt case instead.
I can see why you bought it, impressive...kinda retro-classic...but still tasteful; not overdone. Right out of a Gibson novel. A unique case for a unique device.
Interested how this eye candy will translate into practical daily use. Feel free to update.
No worries on the magnet. The notes amoled should be okay with the magnet, just don't rest it on your laptop at home or worse get near a plasma tv!
