Hi everyone I need some help with the weather app that comes with the HTC Aria (AT&T). So far I have changed the phone twice due to the fact that it gives me the weather in Vidor TX and not in the US Virgin Islands like my EVO (Sprint). Is there anything I can do to fix this so far I have tried to add the city but it can’t even find my city? Is there anything else that I can do? I know I had to add a hack on my Touch Pro to get my local weather, am I going to have to do the same for the Aria?

hey guys i have my new Atrix and im loving it!
Just one small problem....
I bought it from a guy who got it from America, i received it rooted and fully updated with ginger-blur 1.5 installed.
The problem is that i live in Australia and while i have managed to get it working fine on my carriers network when i search for things on google it will retrieve u.s results instead of local ones.
Is there a way to fix this?

As an aussie user of an AT&T Atrix I had to complete the above when first using it to get my results to change. Also used MoreLocale2 to setup a custom (en/AU) location so the dialer stopped showing things so...strangely
Hi, I would like to know if anyone out there has a bypass for the blackout restrictions on the app itself. I google'd the issue already, only iPhones have the bypass.. Sadly :[

Best bet would be to try to spoof your location outside of the blackout area using something like Location Spoofer
I just flash Jokersax kitchen sink project ROM and i must say that i love the MIUI Weather widget. But I found that the city option database in the widget only for USA. I'm international user living in Asia. Would like to know whether this will support for my living place or not. Thanks.

It currently supports only US n UK.
I guess u have to integrate the Asian .db file in the app somehow to get it working.
I've been researching about it myself as I'm an asian too. I just love that app.

I am a huge fan of the Shining Force series, and I wanted to play the android games in the Shining Force Chronicles series. I managed to get the free apks off of play.google.com using the APK Downloader extension in Chrome.
My problem is that when it loads on my Galaxy Tab, I get a SIM ERROR (obviously because I have the wifi only version), and then when I try it on my Verizon Galaxy Nexus it loads a page that appears to be an ad for the new Sonic by the same company. All of the text is in Japanese and translates to something about try the new sonic game, and need to upgrade to a new version of the app (but I have the newest version of that app already), so I have tried doing a few searches on google.
I found a post about a way to play the Sonic games from the store, but you need to change your provider id to docomo. I was wondering if something like this would work for the Shining Force games. My problem is I cannot seem to find a way to change a provider id, or what to change it to for docomo. I have found carrier id, and things like that, but I don't want to change something that will break or perhaps brick my phone.
Does anyone have any idea on what steps I might be able to try to get this to work? I still have my OG Droid that is off-contract and uses just wifi, so if need be I try some things on that first to see if I get it to work.
Will changing the provider id make any of my other apps not work, or maybe even do anything to phone calls or texts?
