I´m writting you to ask for help for a ancient problem I have with WM (since I had a Touch HD). I use a lot the calendar function and also the reminders.
But, I´m facing a terrible problem: the phone is not showing the notifications anymore. The curious part is that if I set a Task, the phone wakes up and rings. But if it´s an appointment, it doesn´t wake up nor even show any notification icons or sounds. I have lost some appointments due this.
I have set all settings to play sounds; hard reseted the phone and installed the programs I most use and tested to see if would play the sound and the notification. After one week of "stability" (I mean, the phone was giving me the notifications and I didn´t install any programs), it stopped again to show APPOINTMENTS reminders.
Has anyone faced this problem? Do you know a solution to this? I have an HD2 with stock T-mobile ROM.

You need to check your notification queue.
There are tools that clean it up. I think SKTools have this functionality.

Hi,
I have been searching now for some time but I cannot find a solution.
Partly because I don´t know for which words exactly to search and partly, because I do not find anything suitable in the usual bug-threads/forums
Since a few days, my HD2 brings the notification sound every few minutes. There is no new mail, no SMS, no upcoming alert, nothing. I restarted it several times but it keeps on beeping and beeping.
This is annoying
I use a ROM from Dutty (don´t remember the version number but if required I can have a look), which I installed quite some time ago and I never had that problem.
Any ideas, how to solve this?

The problem has disappeared and I did nothing for it...
Still no clue what that should have been.
Checked several times if there are unread SMS, mails, calendar reminders, IM messages or whatever.
No Result but now it stopped reminding me (and yes, I have enabled sounds )

Good that your problem solved. I faced such a problem on Wizard once but then generally re-installing ROM and cleaning memory got it sorted. I know it can be bl**dy annoying. With HD2 always try and do Task29 (I am sure you do so but still) and such problems most probably won't arise.

Is there any way to make the integrated notificiation LED of the Tablet S usable for calendar notifications? I tried it with and without lightflow but the led does not blink when there's an event reminder. And a notification for an appointment is moreimportant than email notifications.
Perhaps somebody has a working solution

I'm Affraid there is none ATM, but its a great idea, sadly it will not be as easy to ask to the official calendar app maker, which is Google in this case, because not all devices has this function, in fact even if all devices support this way of alarming, then not all users want to have this option, but you could always try to contact google via google play, and search the callendar if its not shown in the market then you should send a normal message, tell them to make a checkbox within the app, so you can choose to use or block this option,
personally i hate it, because i take my tab regulary to my bethroom so sometimes i get a notification and my whole room is flashing green xD very annoying,
Maby i'm not right but as far as i know there isn't any option like this
Ps: understand that my english is not that good, cause i'm still dutch XD

I used LightFlow (the free version) for a short while and it reminded me of calendar events, as long as there was a Reminder set in the event (i.e. for 10 minutes before etc). I never had problems with it. Did you set up the Calendar notification in LightFlow?

Here is my pseudo-complicated situation: I have a gate sensor at the front of my property that communicates wirelessly to my automation system. The system can then notify me via text or email anytime my gate sensor is tripped. I would like for my phone to simply act as a doorbell by just making a sound anytime someone drives through my gate. So far I have accomplished this but unfortunately for my organized & partially OCD brain, my phone's notification bar is overloaded with messages that I have to clear several times per day. Basically, I would like for it to make a sound but not to show any icon or notification in the pull-down notifications menu.
I have tried several SMS apps (Handcent, GO SMS Pro, Chomp, Textra and stock) and have been unable to find a way to accomplish this. The closest thing I've found is to use the "privacy inbox" on several of these apps that allows me to place any messages from the automation system into a different inbox. I'm able to give it a different sound, different icon and different (or no) LED blink color. Unfortunately, this still leaves my notifications pull-down menu riddled with alerts from my gate sensor.
I don't know if there is an Android-based work-around or if anyone can recommend a decent SMS app that would give me this option. I have tried the same thing with email but not only do I run into the same problem, but the delay in the syncing of the email defeats the purpose because the person will usually already be at my door before I hear the tone. Because of this, I would like to stick with the SMS method.
There may also be another option that is outside the box that I have yet to consider.
Any help is appreciated.

Hello everybody,
recently I shared my position with a person on Google Maps.
When that person tries to see my position I noticed a popup notification that my position is upgrading.
It is possible to log this kind of request? When that person tries to find me that specific notification will be on my screen for like 2-3 seconds, so if my screen is off I have no idea that it's happening.
I tried to see if I could find something on IFTTT and MacroDroid with no luck.
I'm not a programmer and my phone it's not rooted at the moment but I'll do it if it's necessary (HUAWEI P20 Pro CLT-L29).

Hi, there. I changed my smartphone into new one with PIE operating system. Problem is that I can't get SMS notifications to my Amazfit Verge. With old smartphone with Marshmallow everything was fine. From some apps like sports apps I getting notifications about games starting, but from Amazfit app - I don't. Incoming calls I getting, others like Google Mail notifications, calendar's and ect. I did not tested yet. I checked in settings permissions, but in SMS there is no Amazfit app listed, in others sections like Contact, calls and ect., Amazfit is listed. When I activating in smartphone "do not disturb" mode - SMS notification I getting. But when this mode is deactivated - no. Strange problem. I don't know what to do, now is weekand so I can't ask about Amazfit or phone manufacturer about this problem. Why Amazfti app is not listed in SMS permission section? Any idea? Somebody have this problem too or can advise how to fix? SMS is one of important notifications for me, it's the same important as to get incoming calls. Thanks in advance for any help. By the way: Amazfit is already updated into newest version (if i'm not wrong 3.4.4) and Amazfit Verge is updated into newest version (if I remember right 3.2.5.0), smartphone operating system is updated too into newest version. I tried some things to do. But if say honest I couldn't find there is problem (I mean why in permission isn't Amazfit listed) and why SMS notification working only when is "do not disturb" activated.
