[Q] Move or delete this thread, please!!

I would like to know if by changing my phone's rom and kernel i'll lose any data or the root or unlocked bootloader.
Not in the right section next time try to post your questions in the genera section tanks , and you will lose all the data but the bootloader will remain unlocked no matter what you do till you relock it using one of the possible ways to do that

Sorry, i thought it was the right place.
By all the data you mean all data in phone memory, right? And what about apps that are installed but was moved to SD card? They still have some files on phone? Will lose those too? Like gameloft games.
Thanks for answering
Close please they never learn

You could just post an answer and then the thread would die instead of posting crap.
That's not the way to get answers or help. Be respectful.
Search and read - all the answers are there.
I'm sorry, but i've seen people post questiosn here and i didn't know that it was the wrong place. But since i just can't move or delete this thread i appreciate if i could get my answer here.
Do you guys think it's better create another thread in general and wait for an admin to shut this one down?
Just want to know a way to change the rom and kernel without losing any data.
right use titanium to save data all apps not system data unless you plan on a stock rom or a nandroid back up in advanced you can restore data or system or cashe
please pm me if you want more info
rename this thread please close: for mods to see

Go to the overcome ROM thread. There's a link there to a guide. Next time search the forum before you ask, and if you don't find anything by searching, post in the correct forum.

If you have a nandroid backup of your stock rom, just restore it then flash stock recovery with odin. If you don't have a nandroid backup then your need an odin flashable stock rom.

[Q] How to save a OS from the device

Hi,
I have searched the forums here and not got a clear answer so this is the reason for my post.
Lets say, "my friend" has a Android phone that has official ICS in it but has yet to be released to the public. If this friend was to share it with another friend how might he go about extracting the ROM including the radio file so that it could be flashed to another device?
I see that Jade kitchen is talked about quite a bit but not a simple process and from what I can see it might not copy the radio file.
Any help would be great.
Hehehe not sure if this will work but I'm interested to see. How about the friend with the ics root it and cmw, then make a backup, make sure its in the SD card. Then restore it on the other phone by switching cards? Just an idea from a noob

[Q] Need to return to stock using odin

Can anyone point me to the stock software that I can use with Odin to return my Verizon note 2 back to stock? I have tried searching but am not sure I have found the correct version. I am currently running CleanROM 3.5v. I have had a ton of issues with my device before and after rooting and need to return it to Verizon. Please don't hate on me for asking. I know someone here can point me to exactly what I need, as I'm not sure what exactly I am looking for. I don't need help flashing, just help finding the correct file. Thanks in advance for any help!
