Uninstall default apps in x10 Mini - Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Mini

I upgraded yesterday to 1.1.A.08 in India on OTA and got two fresh apps installed, Roller Coaster & Backup/Restore. The Roller Coaster is trial and asks to purchase after just one trial. I dont need the app anymore and want to uninstall it. Similarly the license for my Wisepilot has also expired and I want to uninstall that too. Erasing these two apps will release around 10mb memory free in my MINI. Can anybody tell me how to do it. A tried a few apps including the default application manager. But all of them are unable to uninstall default apps.

Yups even i tried to remove those unwanted games and playnow, wisepilot etc, but its now allowing me to uninstall. Its crap from SE, why they want to force us to keep unwanted paid apps.

Space eaters... until 2.1 or a rooted version the apps will be always present...
I've got a bunch of crap from my operator that consumes space and memory, and I didn't use them...

Paid Apps

Hi Guys,
unfortunately a friend of mine has lost his gmail account (someone broke his password), and therewith all his apps bound to that account.. of course thats at the moment not extremely bad, because the apps are still on his phone, but if he might update the rom or buy a new phone, the paid apps will be gone.
therefore i am wondering, where these apps are stored. i found out, that most apps are stored in /data/app, but for example new applications, which i bought lets say an hour ago, are not stored there (think that this has something todo with 24h refund).. has someone experience with this? will those apps work, which i bought and then copied the apk file from data/app to a backup?
Yes, they will definatly work. you can use "appManager Pro" to back up the apps realy simply, or you can use "mybackup pro" to back up all your apps. Google seems to have no DRM in place whatsoever for the app store, so you can back up your apps manualy or with the above apps and they will still work, on any phone!
yes okay, the first app (appmanager) works, but only with some apps, not with all
for example i have the app "colorUp Lite", there stands "geschützt"/"protected".. any idea how the programmer managed to protect their app? and how to store that?
edit: i found out that every app, which can be backuped is stored in /data/app.. for example the app from above "colorUp Lite" has no apk-file in that folder.. theres just a zip-file with some pictures and templates in it.. where do these apps store their binary on the phone??

[Q] ram memory help

help guys.I got xperia x8. i had 90mbs of free ram but now I got only 66. 20mbs are taken from some cashed background processes like media g mail and etc. can I somehow freeze them on every boot, but (not to be set on boot). additionally I got 4mbs taken from lookout security which I don't know how to uninstall it. when I press uninstall it says failed. pls help I soo wanna get my free 90mb back.
Thanks in advance.
sorry for bad eng.
if you want to unistall lookout security you need to root your phone. Then install titanium bacKup from the market and uninstall the app using it. You shouldn't worry about RAM being used as unused RAM is wasted RAM.

How do I totally uninstall App + Data

When I want to totally get rid of an app, will the native uninstall feature of the Prime get rid of all traces of the app from the folders it generated on install, the exe and associated files, and any data that was entered into the app.
I know for Windows, to totally get rid of all traces of programs, the control panel technique will not totally clear the PC....sometimes you have to manually go in and delete folders (sometimes empty) etc or use a third party app that will eliminate all traces.
If I need a 3rd party app, any suggestions on a good one....Running .21/unrooted (at the moment)...not unlocked
Thanks in advance
Bob
For proper uninstalling of Apps I use Titanium Back up on my phone (rooted SGS2) that has the option to clear the data for it during the uninstall which I assume deletes all relevant files (not those created on SD card such as game files)
Uninstalling native apps like the @vibe free music you'd need to root it and uninstall it with a third party app (like titanium) I am waiting for either a .21 root or till my temptation to unlock the bootloader gets too great, it'll probably be the latter

What are safe apps etc to delete to free some memory?

Hello there i think i am gonne root the galaxy s6 edge.
So i can delete some apps etc with titanium backup..
Maybe it will help for the random reboots that i have is to delete som apps to free up the ram..
I dont know if it will work but i can try it.
There are plenty. Milk music. Milk video. Any of the Microsoft apps. Most of the apps placed by my carrier I was able to remove as well. Facebook was the first one I removed. There are plenty of others that are safe to remove

[BUG] Another Memory Bug

I had force stopped/greenified apps but even after that Android isn't releasing their used memory.
I had to uninstall all Apps and minimize using to WhatsApp,Gmail,Hangout and Hike Messenger.
I can't even keep extra apps installed.
I am using Greenify with Xposed Framework to freeze system apps and prevent them from waking up.
Still there is no way to gain memory of frozen apps.
Easy way to notice:
1. Open Settings-Applications-Running Apps-
2. Memorize free RAM.
3. Try force stopping bunch of heavy Apps.
4. You won't see free RAM increased no matter what you do.
I was actually thinking to give up S6 Edge but I hope Samsung or someone might fix this annoying Memory bug.
Note: I have tried all custom ROM's till latest Crash ROM V2.4.
