With this UniversalAndRoot and after instal and backup with Titanium Backup have I uninstall some app.
- Backupandrestore.apk
- User-support.apk
- EManual.apk
- Facebook.apk
- Wisepilot.apk
- ReloadSync.apk
- Edge.apk
- Notes.apk
- NeoReader.apk
- Maps.apk
- R2R.apk/ReadyToRun.apk/
- HomeScreen.apk
- Roadsync.apk
- Pedge.apk
- Rollercoaster.apk
Next I install RootExplorer and move Sygic to system folder.
Present time all functionary is OK without problem
Confirm full functionary with X10Root

works over here aswell

malware spyware,
read this rooting is in fact a malware and or spyware on android forum,
i installed it, works for sure but is it one?
grrrr, hope not.....

The two attacments in the first post are different. One is UniversalAndroot.apk 153kb (1st) and the second is X10Root.apk 626kb (alternate). Will the Mini get rooted with the first file or second file or both ? (I cannot test as I have a rooted phone with "Exploid" method).
Secondly this has an option to unroot the phone. Did anyone test that ? And lastly can a phone rooted by "Exploid" or "Bin4ry method be unrooted by this?
Lastly thanks to the orginal developer & account1 for making "Rooting" such a hassle free job.

I'd be really interested to know the answer to this question too.

As far as I can tell no it can't be unrooted with the apparently, it is slightly different to the screenshot posted but it does work to root the phone and is by far the easiest way to do so, also, doesn't seem to be spyware or malware as far as I can tell, no suspicious processes running that I can find
Sent from my E10i using XDA App

I used the app. From the alternative link, not the universal root from the first link, thought it didn't work for ages until I realised it doesn't seem to install busybox, used titanium backup to download busybox and from then on its been fine, phone now devoid of all bloatware
Sent from my E10i using XDA App

Does it work also on the MiniPro?

Certainly should do, its just the exploid root method but in a one click app and we know exploid works on mini pro
Sent from my E10i using XDA App

is Titanium backup only way to remove the SE apps? Tried with ES filexplorer with no luck.
-bana

don't know if its the only way, think it can be done by connecting to the computer and using busybox commands but as a noon to all this I found titanium backup a much easier option, just backed up the phone and then killed some bloatware!

aye, just read the posts from the other "root threads". cli tfw

What this does
It is an app you install (currently you must side load it, but it will be on the market once it's had some testing here on XDA), that has a single button that will root your device. Should work on ALL Android devices -- please leave a note if it works or doesn't work on your device.
How safe is this?
Should be 100% safe - nothing on disk is changed besides the root binaries, so if something goes wrong, simply rebooting the device should fix up any and all issues. Let me know if you find any bugs!

what i can do?

Now we just need something similar to apply shell root.
Well, you can use the old X10Root app to apply shell root after this but it would be nice if it was included
It is Working 100% with me.

[SCRIPT] All in one solution for root and xrec on 2.0.2.A.0.24

Hi,
I've made a script to install xrecovery, root and fix busybox after updating to 2.0.2.A.0.24
I have packed it into an exe for your ease. Of course I know you'll want a virusscan so I've added links on the bottom. It's just a extracting sfx archive so if you have knowledge with that you can just extract it and see, if you don't trust me
x10 Mini Pro VirusScan @ virusscan.jotti.org
I've updated the archive, it now removes temporary files used on your sdcard and I fixed an issue, tested and it's working 100% now! Downside is virsusscan is outdated, just let me know if I have to put up a new one.
Thanks to:
zdzihu for xrecovery,
CLShortFuse for SuperOneClick
Shivenjuenja for the SuperOneClick Mod which allows rooting on 2.0.2.A.0.24
Thank you very much!
It worked flawlessly on u20i 2.0.A.0.24

You're very welcome
I'm porting FroYo over, so I need to be able to restore to 2.1 many times and do the whole rooting thing again, so I decided to pack it all into one package and share it with the community
The script has been updated to remove temporary files used on the sdcard. This means the virusscan is outdated, but if you insist I'll post another scan.
The script has been updated again, I placed the remount at a wrong timing. I just checked the script and it's 100% working now!

The porting of froyo is a very complicated project. I will release this for everyone when it's done. If you insist on trying it yourself though, send me a PM and I will upload my vendor and device folders so you can replicate my work. At the moment the thing won't even boot so I suggest you'd just wait for me and zdzihu to finish this.

@hehe13, this is OT, but you can use the stock 'backup&restore' to backup your sms and contacts. although if you synced your contract thru google, it wont be backed up. you can save the numbers though on your simcard, if that would help.

Simple, extract the .zip and then click on the .exe.
Follow the on screen instructions from there!
"ENABLE ADB ON THE PHONE THROUGH SETTINGS" means click Settings -> Application Settings -> Development and put a tick in the "USB Debugging" box.
BTW: Good job chap! @Mikevhl
This sure sounds like a treat! - If I only had this a few days ago - I would have saved hours of debugging...
Nice contribution - I'll probably get to test it soon enough (If/when I mess up the current ROM) :E

[Q] Cannot install xRecovery on Xperia X10 On stock 2.3.3

Hello i have tried 2 different methods of installing xRecovery.
First i have tried simply using flashtool to install xRecovery, but just gets stuck on Remounting system read-write.
Second i downloaded the zip file of xRecovery (Gingerbread) And put files into the respective folders using root explorer. Still no luck
Am i missing something? Thanks in advance
Yeah, there's two methods regarding how to get xrecovery onto GB does require a bit of youtube watching but i found it the easiest way of doing this 0.3 xrecovery version alone will not give u it you will need an additional zip to obtain it. If you head into the x10 general section look for the sticky how to flash custom roms for noobies (im a noob also) it will tell you step by step to get every working from backing up to xrec to flashing roms to restoring apps there will be 3 youtube vids in the first post vids 1 and 2 will tell you what u need to know the third is mainly for the rom.
like i said there's two ways of doing it the second way which i had to do was via computer using command prompt but as i said watch the vids they have all links on the youtube channel.
Hope this helps and good luck.
Yes I hace viewed the videos but it installs xrecovery through the apk which when I use it says that the folders exist and have the no symbol when I press install
