I bought a Vibrant, but there is unfortunately no Russian language menu and input .. I would like to add the Russian language in the firmware. Can I take firmware from samsungfirmwares for vibrant. It add the csc file from the Russian firmware. Will this work?

Russian input can easily be done with most third-party keyboards. I prefer SmartKeyboard Pro, but I know many others support Russian input as well.
As far as localizing the interface, that would require a new ROM with the locale included. I don't believe you can just drop in a file, because most applications would need to have their strings individually taken care of.

Go to market and search MoreLocale 2. I believe there is Russian in there. Hope it helps
MoreLocale works not correctly - more menu names in English...
The same problem. It should be added to the slimrom russian.

Sorry, no WWE or EUR version available; only a NOR ´(Scandinavian).
It may be russian rom but I would have no worries. My Qtek (w original rom, bought new) have set Russian as a default text input but all the menus were in English (it was after hard-reset), it includes (and I hope this newest rom is the same) Russian, English and some other lanuages (mostly European).
In this Russian rom it is possible to include English language and other languages Turkish Polish Slovak Czech Romanian....

Just to clarify, when we state, 'It is possible to include English' does that mean that I can go Start -> Settings -> (0) More -> (3) Regional Settings and change it to English easily Or...Does this mean I have to hunt down an English CAB file? I just need a solid, it easy or hard.
You need no other CAB, all languages (including English of course) are in the ROM already. All you need to do is just to check and correct the Regional Settings.

Standard HTC S740 edition from HTC has polish language support. Check your settings...
Or you can use the ROM from Orange, it has no customization but it has Polish too.

YES I checked - and I haven't polish language inside.

That's really odd. My Rose has all languages support in standard...
You can't change firmware yet, since there is none HardSPL. But there are done some works to make it. For now you must use what you have...

Hi creams! I think the question has been answered - RUU_Rose_Orange_UK_1.17.61.2_Radio_sign_12.29.30.0 9_0.29.30.22_Ship.exe contains Polish language (check the thread with official ROMs). If your device is from different provider, use HardSPL and then flash the ROM. After first bootup (takes up to 10 minutes) change the language in Region settings and then restart as requested by the OS. Works like charm apart from the fact, that I can barely understand what the translator meant I really prefer using it in English...

I tried download and flash about 5 different ROMs from this forum. I tried all that had Czech language suppoprt. There was installed Sunnysoft localization with Sunnysoft keyboard. But non of them included czech T9. In the keyboard settings there was only to choose from english, german, italian, french and portugaise language I think, but not Czech.
Can anyone advise me where to get it? How to install the czech T9? Or advise me which of ROMs posted here include this czech T9?

Hi, ths for advise, but its not working. Looks like something is missing, i cannot write a single letter. Propably the Czech dictionary is missing?
i dont find the original rom in czech, if i have 1 original rom i can cook a new room with last windows mobile version.

great, thanks for the advise. in fact that language support does not work for my flashed ROM so I will try to download also the original ROM and make some "cooking" - lets hope it will be usable

That would be great. I just opened the kitchen SW and when I saw all the stuff, I immediately stoped, because I dont have enough time to go and understand all those points :-(

I installed the arabick language in to my note and then I lost the default language which was Norwegian. Now I have arabic and english and some few other languages, but as I needed arabic I then need the norwegian too.

I bought S21 SM-G9910 from eglobalcentral. Everything is ok but the phone was meant as a gift and there is a problem that this model doesn't fully support the Slovenian language ("May not be available in some apps" - description). If I select it only parts of the phone are translated but the other half is still in English (almost the whole Settings app). Can I flash it to something else so that the Slovenian language will be fully supported? If anyone has a working solution please help me.

AFAIK your device was not designed for your region/country.
I can find firmware for China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
So I think that you have to stick to the half Slovenian translation.
Maybe in future updates, translation will need better.
