I hope a thread like this doesn't exist already in Defy Forum
You just have to install the ".apk" file and select it in Theme Chooses, after that you have to reboot the phone so all icons show up.
And you only should use hdpi themes

I was wondering if it's possible to change the appearance/icons of the sliders in the lockscreen in a simple way. I tried widget locker but found it laggy.
If anybody as a cool solution, I'm interested in it. thanx

When you click on the 2nd Link you can see some Lockscreens under "Basic Add-Ons".
And then scroll down to "Instructions for ZipThemer" there you can see how to do it.

Like i said i suggest the Honeycomb theme. And some others i recommend are "Orange Octane", "honeybread" and "Minimal Magic"

No, at all....I want transparency in everything. Statusbar and popups messages too. So....I made my own transparent theme.

Hmmmm I use launcher pro plus. Let me check out adw to see how it is.

Yeah I know that but theres something in the xml and smali that needs to be changed also. When I do it your way, widgetlocker shows the homescreen wall in the status bar. Its not a true transparency.

i think that when it's transparent it sees widgetlockers background as part of the app, so when it trys to show behind the app (aka transparency), it shows behind widgetlocker's wallpaper. my 2cents worth.

You should defiantly check out the online themes section for cm7 they have a lot or you can download a lot of them even right from the market, so far i have done that and it has been working just fine, so i hope that helps.

As I understand CM7 themes do not have the ability to modify the lockscreen.
Mixer is AWESOME! or GlassMix...both free in the Market.

What are you talking about? Go grab theme chooser from the market it shows all cm7 themes and in that app it shows dragons and skulls which is the one I'm talking about. sooo.....
I really like dark, simple, classy themes and widgets (for example I love the look of Simply Calendar Widget). I tried searching but couldnt find anything I like. Any suggestions? I am also using Go Launcher EX.
Jivy ported a great theme for unnamed that I'm using. Is dark and classy. It's called x power. Scroll down a bit here and you'll find it.

VERY nice! I am not digging on the phone number buttons..the reflections make the numbers hard to read. But still a very nice theme.

Try Aerish GTX from the market. Its a theme for ADW. Requires root for some stuff like the white clock.

Not compatible with Galaxy Note....made for mdpi and hdpi screens
EDIT: Sorry, was looking at the CM7 Version....it is compatible.
