Hiya guys and gals,
Trying to come up with new things for the slide to keep us entertained until we get a 2.2 Sense build from tmobile. So I took cm6 and ported a theme for the samsung spica of the touchwiz UI on the GalaxyS. I also replaced adw launcher with the MDPI touch wiz. I changed the bootanimation as well. First and foremost there are some thanks in order.

Post Boot Setup:
*You'll need to change the colors to your liking
*Remove the google search widget and add it back (distorted at first, adding it back fixes it.)
*Change all boot animations to fast
*Decided I'm going to leave the overclocking to you all. Dumfuq updates his OCd Slide Kernels regularly and the thread with universal update.zips can be found HERE

That will be coming in the later releases. I'll have to resize EVERY image from hdpi to mdpi
Yea I no and you have to edit some XML to allow the use of those as well right? Pm me and let me no where you get the apk from and I can help with resizing all of the images! I know there are hundreds!

I'm making one right now. It's going to be a bash script that uses ImageMagick (a very awesome console program to manipulate images). Sorry if you don't use Linux, but Android is Linux so I find it only fair to develop with two mutually compatible operating systems.
I'll have the script shortly.
EDIT: It's taking a lot longer than expected. I may just design this app in Qt/C++ so that Windows, Linux, and Mac users can all use it.

I think if you have the ability to you should try and port over Amon-RAs recovery from the hero g1... It has a Console in the recovery kernel...
I'm going to try and figure that out but it'll be a long time before I get anywhere. Haha.
that's not really related to THIS rom persay but I think would be awesome cause then we can manipulate /system/app while in recovery rather than requiring adb...

Any idead if we can get some froyo apps working on this? I would like to have the froyo gmail and google talk app on it.

I second that! Id much rather use amonRA if it were possible just cus its setup correctly for the way our a2sd works. It still uses /system/sd/, where clockwork is setup to use /sd-ext/. Ill gladly help test it out!

Aren't those part of the reason people still use Espresso? Besides those fancy widgets?
Ill make another version with EVERYTHING unnecessary removed.
instead of adding the mymode themes maybe you can add a separate update with the themes in it..I love the espresso interface because of the theme and the genus button...

Hmm, perhaps. Any reason other than because? They aren't stored on /data so they don't take up application space.
Alright, this is a Sense Éclair ROM...
HOWEVER: it is very fast. Honestly, try it out. You won't even notice a speed difference between this and your current ROM. Why?
Because, this is a port of Attn1's Liberated Aria, which is basically their stock sense tweaked for speeeeed
Basically everything works (including wifi), the only issue I've found is kb lights (working on this, takes more work than I originally thought) and the Camera has a blue tinge)

A2sd is working by default n_n and... emm... i have a question ace, could you make those themes flashable zip files instead of themed roms? Just the files you changed... So they are easier to download xD

Downloading now, but I have to say, if bluetooth doesn't work, it's a deal-breaker for me. I have the dock that uses bluetooth to stream the audio for use in my car... The term 'daily driver' has special meaning for me
Unless the ROM is just an edit of stock Espresso, you can pretty much be rest assured that Bluetooth audio doesn't work. This isn't the devs fault.

This rom isnt me (maybe it needs to grow on me), but I am bringing this to the slide community so we have more of a variety to choose from.
REMEMBER TO MAKE A BACKUP!!!
This is cm7 mixed with the sony xperia arc launcher. We can all thank tobbeson from the legend forum for formatting the launcher from hpdi to mdpi. Aside from the screenshots below, other nice features are the window animations and floating apps in the app drawer.

Have you call your Mobile when it's locked? I have the same Issue, when i unlock
my slide, i see it's lost the signal. But when i call the silde if it's locked, it rings...
Yes, while calling, phone locked and lost signal.
I must unlock phone, but data and call not working.
If I lock phone manualy, I have same problem. After restart all working, but only before phone locks.
This issue I have only 2.6.32 kernels, on 2.6.29.6 all working.

not sure what it is about this rom, could be bc the keyboard doesnt light up, but my battery life is a lot better on this rom than on regular CM7. i like this.

Thanx. For now I just have cm7 final and used astro to browse through the your rom and installed the small launcher.
Edit: also I noticed when using this launcher the search key automatically links with Google search, even when I change it in cyanmod settings. I usually have it to launch the xda app but launcher forces it to Google for some reason.

So here is the deal... Since myself and killathenoob are finding it hard to find the time to really give everyone a full on theme (And i will be taking a break to mess with my new GS2)... I thought it might be fun to give everyone a little something to play with...
I have modified Rosie with some nice application drawer backgrounds... These will work in ANY Sense 3.0 Rom...
On another note... IF you have a custom image you would like done special for you, just let me know... Its not a massive deal at all for me to do... So dont be shy.... I will mostly work on requests during the day... So evening requests will need to understand i wont touch them till the next morning...
I went with the colors most seem to like... Green, Blue and Red... And semi-transparent...
How to:
- Download to your PC
- Move to your storage (Recovery specific)
- Nandroid
- Flash
- Reboot
Things to note:
- Stock Rosie base
- Lots of xml edits to add in transparent and image backgrounds, along with 5x5 drawer...
- No, this will not flash the surrounding theme shown in the screen shots... (Most of it is just a skin, and not mine)

What happened to the themes for TW projects? You had some DOPE-ASS custom icon/status bar shapes that really pushed the .png options out there.
TW lost its main developer for the last 6 months while he took care of real life... Now that he is back, I will be back with the team... I have amaze obviously and a GS2 on order... So my more cutting edge themes should start back up... Just need to manage my theme work with my real life... Been focusing on work, my painting (water color) and a lot of charity work...

Hello all! I am currently running CMX with a TouchWiz 5 theme. I installed the TouchWiz Launcher port along with a few different zips I have found across xda. My phone has most TW widgets, sounds and stock apps. I feel a lot of people would love to run this ROM. I have no idea how but is there a way for me to generate a zip of my setup so that others could enjoy it?

You can use this to make an update zip. Just put the apks in their respective places. The theme would probably be in data and the launcher in system.
The only issue I see is if this is the TouchWiz 5 theme you speak of it can't be included because it's a paid app.
Like the setup, i have been looking for something like this a little while.

I wrote a couple of devs seeking help. I am a full time student and I work full time as well. I thought about releasing a HOW to guide. I have not given up.
Pimp my ROM seems to have the full tw launcher and some widgets. Cannot confirm if all are there. You can then get a tw theme from market and you should be set. I am on decks 10-10 build (4.1.2) and the theme is not working but launcher is
