hard disc broken - Shift Accessories

Hi everybody, I do apologize for my (maybe) poor english, since it's not my mother language. I need help in order to changing my shift hard disc...I cannot reboot and nether by vista cdrom nor acronics I can see the disc anymore.
So I have to buy another one but I don't know which one cause I'm afraid no all of them work (are compatible).
I used the function seek on forum and I found toshiba mk 1011gah 1,8" 100 gb
Is it ok?
Can someone tell me something more?

Hello,
Please find as below detail:
- Size: 1.8''
- Thick: 0.5 mm
- PATA
- ZIF connector
Thanks

Thank you picheth, I meant: is that hard disc compatible to htc shift?
Can you or someone link a store where I can find that machine or another working on the Shift? Thank you again

Hi ale73a,
I don't know the online shop where sell this drive. Please search!
But in my country (Cambodia), there is only one shop but second hand and very expensive.
Please try to check, I think it can be replaced with iPod Classic 80GB Hard drive.
If your friend or someone has this iPod and broken but the hard drive is OK you can buy and replace to your shift.
Thanks

SO i dont have to pay so much for copilot and i know :/ but i would'nt be the only one im sure youve downloaded something before.
You might want to cut this conversation right there or you're going to get in trouble here on the board. Try a google search or an other forum. XDA doesn't allow this kind of stuff...

Discussion of warez are more than frowned upon in this community, so you should end this discussion here and now. However, regardless of the possibilities, Copilot has an activation system that is tied to the phone, so go and buy it because it is *fantastically* cheap for what it is!

Dave
Thanks everyone for your advice and sorry for posting this, also is co-pilot really that good (in the UK)

Copilot is better than my dedicated Garmin navigator although it got me in a bit of a trouble in Gotherburg (Sweden) the other day. I shouldn't trust modern technology so blindly

Can it be used as an effective satnav without using internet ?
Cheers
Yes, Copilot downloads the maps to SD card, so you do not have to be data connected to use it.
On a recent trip from Portsmouth UK, to Alicante ES, Copilot performed so well that I didn't need to use the dedicated Navman unit I was planning on using - which is good because it's route was some 4 hours quicker than that offered by Navman, and proved to be an eerily accurate estimation!

Dave

In short: Yes it can. With internet connection you can get additional services such as traffic data etc.
EDIT: Here's their website: http://www.alk.eu.com/copilot/android/
Here's a youtube video review: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CCkSsf85PX0
PS. Please support the developers and buy this app. It's quite an amazing navigation app and it is not even that expensive as the other ones tend to be.

If you have bought an app through the Market then it will remember it forever. That means that you can install it as many times as you want. For free.
You will not get any other answer from me. Although there is other answers.
End of discussion.

well, because some of us can't buy apps, Checkout not supported in my country, so i kinda have little choice....i need a good docs app, i need editing, i am open to suggestions on how to get it and what are my free options
why dont u try GDocs? Syncs to your google docs a/c and u can add new txt files and have it synced to your com and finish the editing there. better than nothing.
GDocs (Free app)
please DONT steal copilot!
I am also in a country that can not buy apps. That is no reason to steal from developers who put their effort in building an app that is really worth its money. I used market enabler as advised elsewhere on the forum and that works just fine!
Seriously, I bought copilot and have not regretted it any minute. Though some people complained about the support, I went through the support when I could not download it immediately (credit card validation pending, another google problem) and they answered me (after one week, when the problem already solved itself, but that shows that they are getting busy and that is a good sign). To me, copilot is the kind of app that demonstrates the possibilities of android as a business model.
So bite the bullet, and see for yourself how ridiculously cheap it is for what you get!

[Help wanted/collect on]Riff Box J-tag for Toshiba Tsunagi TG01

Mod Edit: This appears to be an attempt at getting donations, which is against the rules. Aside from that, YOU ARE IN THE WRONG FORUM! please post only Development in the TG01 Development Forum. All other requests go in General. Closing and moving thread. ~TheRomMistress
Hi all ... again
Someone has to sell Riff Box J-tag, or buy cheaper somewhere ... ?
I put a topic in this section, because I mean a device for Toshiba Tsunagi TG01
I could also mention, for Tsunagi and the extra cost.
Thanks for anything
Nokser
I would add that you need me to port WP7, because without it, though I would ..., it does not give advice
Are you asking if anyone has a box for sale?
Or are you after funding? If funding, then I know it's against the rules, but you could start a box fund so you can buy one? (I'll donate on the 31st if this is so - pay day).

Any usb to go adaptor will work, not all keyboards will work out of the box, you may need to add udev rules before they will work.
There is a thread in the dev section about getting any input device to work, you need to be rooted or you will be limited the makes supported out of the box, I am not sure what they are

well thats the samsung one, or you can order something like this which I have, any generic OTG cable should work, though the nokia ones have an odd shaped port I think so stay away from them.
Should work, but I wouldn't choose that particular, cause it doesn't have a flexible cable and one wrond push/drop would tear it.. or even worse your MHL port.

Viewpad 10 Mini-VGA Connector

Hello.
I´m search for an mini-VGA Connector for the Viewpad 10. Can anyone tell me where I can find this?
Forget trying to get it from Viewsonic. I got the run-around from them for 2 months and no cable. I don't think they even sell it.
Go to www.tegav2.com. They sell a Viewpad 10 clone and I was able to get the cable from them. They also have all kinds of hardware and software upgrades if you are interested. Great company wish I had heard of them before Viewsonic.
Ok. Thank you. Have an cable found.

Hello Jools,
I inherited an old ViewSonic ViewPad 10, and perhaps you STILL have one of the viewsonic CB-00009947 mini vga cables left? I know it's been years since your post, but I'm hoping you may still have one available. Let me know if we can work something out. Email [email protected] if you have something. Thanks!!

MTCB/C/D 2GB RAM Group Buy #2

First, this not to compete with the original thread - just to make it a bit easier
Anyone interested in being involved in a group buy please post in this thread.
Chips will be USD 22.00 a piece - that already includes inbound shipping. Shipping will be out of the US (Colorado)
Shipping to you, please go to one of the US shippers and figure out yourself how fast you want the shipment .. aka how much do you want to spend in shipping.
US shippers: USPS.com, UPS.com or FedEx.com ... USPS letter 1st class worldwide is the least expensive, normally takes 7-10 days, costs about USD 2.00 - but is not trackable
I will "pull the trigger", close this thread on December 10th. Then enough time is left to get shipment out before Christmas.
To make the group buy work, we need to be at least 10 participants
Oskar
Shipping update:
worldwide shipping can be done by postal service as registered letter - that is full trackable. Total shipping cost $ 20.00

Yes Please! Put me down for one.

I'm also willing to participate but can't find any clear pictures on the forum to show my soldering guy and ask if he can fit it.
Can someone please give me a few pic's of the replacement of MTCD units? The module itself and where it must be soldered.
Sorry, guys but scrolled through all the pages...
Hello,
Unfortunately, due to some personal problems, i cannot participate anymore, please remove me from the list.
Thank you and good luck with the group buy !
Hi, on second thought, after looking into the SMD work required, please strike me from the list. I am not confident that I can perform the work and I do not know of anyone near me that can do it.
