Hey Miami_Son,
Yeah i did find your tread after posting mine, and just commented on it, do u have a how to or anything?
Thanks
P.S feels good im not the only crazy on the "needs" the gel buds

Why do that? just get the wired remote and use regular headphones?
I have the original HTC remote and it's awesome, has all the controls you need on it.

What wired remote? Link?

Eh?
Oh well, let me google that for you .
I also got a simple extUSB to 3.5mm converter for $1.5.

Looks good. Wonder why I never heard of it before. In searches for HTC accessories I've never seen it.

IDK, I got'em with my Raphael, and kept them
But the cheapest route is to get some extUSB->3.5mm dongles off ebay.

That's why I made up the set I posted earlier. I hate using a dongle. I found the HTC thingie on eBay, but none cheaper than $25 + shipping. I'll stick with my homemade headset.

Eh? You have a variety of extUSB->3.5mm dongles/cables.
Just get one that suits you.

I guess you don't understand. I DON'T like the dongles. That's why I made my own set of USB earphones with gel buds. Can't make it any clearer than that.

do that remote work with the TP2? i heard a lot of bad things about it. One that it only work with WMP(window media player). Enough said :|

^^^ thats a knock off of the HTC one, i like the concept but would just want one with just the remote not the mic... might interfere with my bose headphone that has a mic build in

In The Market for a headset

Alright, I looked on a few sites and I found one usb to 3.5mm for .63 cents
but I want something more then that and found this
http://www.cellularfactory.com/det.jsp?d=34976&c=123746
I was wondering since the site looks pretty amateur, is it safe?
Maybe this forum could shed some light on my situation.
That is the exact same one you can get direct from T-Mobile for about the same price if you have a local store.

I wonder if they will sell me one, even though I'm not a T-mobile user.
Thanks for the quick reply Prince and Dave!

A few Q?

Hey guys, I am think of switching from my evo lte to the note this week. I looked but I could not find my exact answer's. Is there a wireless charger that goes on the stock back and does not make the phone thicker? I want to use a Spigen case with it and dont know if it will work? Also will the wireless charging work through the case? and will the NFC still work through a wireless charger and a case? Thanks!
I came from the Evo LTE and man what a difference. The N3 will NOT disappoint.
There is a wireless charging thread or two that will answer those questions. I'll go dig at least one up for you.

Jlabs audio

Just wanted to let you guys know about this promotion going on right now from a company called jlabs audio. They make great products for the price. I have a pair of their earbuds and the sound can't be beat at their price-point. I've ordered one hoping to get a desk speaker for work but, honestly, even a pair of their headphones for $7.50 (including shipping) is a great deal. Check it out here, you might get lucky. http://androidspin.com/2014/03/26/jlab-audio-5-grab-bag-take-chance-get-great-gear/
Thanks, ordered 2. 10 bucks cant really go wrong. If I don't like it, I have xmas gifts now lol.
LG G2 ftw
True that. Didn't even think about giving them away as gifts.
And closed

So look at it. They're used and the earbuds probably aren't even as expensive as you might think.

Because they were "free" to begin with in the box -- and most people buy better ones like 1More triple driver earphones or Sound Magic E50S or E80S.
So, they sell the extra pair they don't need and don't intend to use.
Also a bunch of people complained their carriers took their earphones from the box -- they were missing. Looks like they're being sold on eBay!
