What I'm assuming you mean is that the game music and sound files are showing up in your scrollable list in the music player, and not that the game dev was stupid enough to actually force the music files to be installed in the same physical folder your music is.
If that's the case there's a relatively easy fix. Create a blank file called .nomedia and place that file into the folder where the games music is located. You'll just have to mount and search the SD card storage to find where this is.
Once you do this the media scanner will skip that folder when figuring out what video/audio media to index on your phone.

Can I do the same to a cut scene in my videos folder?

Yeah, that worked perfectly.

Music Player doesn't have all the songs

I have comm rom on my fascinate and tons of songs on my sd card, but when i use the music player it doesn't have all the songs in the library. why is that? is there anyway to fix it? or make it work?
Double check the formats of your music to make sure its .mp3 or similar. Good place to start.

the formats are all .mp3
I can confirm this problem. The songs are there but the music player doesn't show them. A tiny bug...

use root exploret or similar and go into your sd card and delete the android folder and reboot. This fixed it for me. I've also had a problem where sometimes it would show the same song multiple times and it would fix that too.

Music App w/ 'folder browse'... ?

I'm looking for a music player that won't scan for music & use its own browser software... I want one that will allow you to manually browse the folders on your sd card for music.
Can someone recommend one?

Deleting UI sounds from the music player?

They're really getting in the way of all the real music I downloaded so the question is if I delete the UI sounds from the music player, will they still be heard in the UI?

Out of curiosity i wanted to see if it holds true. It does....... Im using the sony walkman apk as my player. I deleted a ui sound and checked in root explorer and it was gone. There are some players, miui for example that allow the user to set a size limit for audio files and wont add any under 800kb to the apps music library.

They release a new phone. Promise updates and support. Don't update and release a new phone 6 months later. Rinse. Repeat. Updates come when they've made enough money and are bored. Its just the way big company's roll.

Create a file called ".nomedia" where your UI sounds are stored. This should cause files in those folders to be excluded from the TW music player.

It will also exclude them from the system's Media Scanner. Everything stock related to media in Android uses the Media Scanner's database. Ringtone/notification chooser and almost all media players as well.
This is the exact reason why I refuse to use any media player that doesn't support Folders. I can tell it to look exclusively in a folder or folders for music, and it will ignore anything that's not in those folder(s).

does anyone know why???

I have just downloaded a game off the play store called command and conquer and every command in the game has been loaded into my music so I now have things like cannot deploy here and tank ready coming through the head phones when I'm using shuffle is there anything I can do to stop this happening again
...
Thank you much appreciated. Mark

what music player are you using
Try using a file explorer and renaming the folder with the audio in it. Just the same folder name but with a full stop in front of the name. So if it's called /audio call it /.audio

Or create an empty file named .nomedia inside this folder.
Also, if you're using Poweramp or similar, you can just untick folder from further scanning.
OMG LET ME TAKE SOME TIME OUT TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION WITH A REALLY GOOD DESCRIPTIVE THREAD NAME!!!!!!!!!
You must listen to the sounds and become one with them to truly master C&C.

Problem with music on omega Rom.

Hi all,
Wondering if I could get some help please. I am having problems with my music on omega's Rom. I use the stock music app to play music across to my cars headunit but sometimes the app is unable to find all my music.
I have tried places the mp3s into the /media/music folder and also into the /music folder. It will find music that is in the downloads folder and will find system sounds but not the large collection I have placed on the internal memory.
Now this is not always the case as I have had the music app find all the music in the past but I have no idea what I am changing to lose them this time. Any ideas?
Also is there a way of stopping the stock app from finding all the system sounds or only reading from one directory so as to find only my music collection?
Cheers in advance.
