Wanted to pass along that the newest version of sandstorm is working great on dell streak! Although gamelofts site says not available for streak, you can find the apk for other phones. Hoping nova is next
How did you download it?
I got a SMS link on my phone, but after taping download site opens and says that my phone is not supported.

try downloading the link from a browser on your PC and transfer the apk to your phone.
You don't need to do the whole sms thing theres another page that allows you to choose the make of your phone (not the site recognising your phone) and it then brings up the free demo downloads for you to use, it's a bit of trial and error to get the games that fully work on the streak butpretty much all the nexus 1 games do work.
Edit: Just to add real football 2010 appears to be working ok also, just playing my first match now.
anybody any idea how to save progress in the game (like returning back to the last checkpoint instead of re-starting the whole mission) after stopping the game?
I just can't figure it out; pretty annoying to restart mission every time..

btw: Sandstorm (trial, later whole game) installed on my N1, just by fooling Gameloft site with info it was a Droid x; game works great!

I downloaded it from there.
Graphics are heavily broken. A lot of artifacts, broken textures. Controls are laggy. No jump button.

Hmm really? I wonder why nobody else has reported that, it has alot of downloads I'm going to copy your post and see if anybody else had similar issues? I wonder if depends on the device you are using. Did any of the other games work ok? Thanks for your feedback by the way .

It may be the Motorola version is broken.
Other games I tried were HTC Incredible versions and worked just fine.

I talked to some people and they said graphics were fine but I think they have the Milestone though. Maybe that version dosen't work good with the Dell Streak idk. I'm glad the other games worked ok .
you get the same files no matter which device you choose. I managed to d/l sandstorm and the file was identical for droidx incredible and the other one (which I forget) I chose.
I think the 3d drivers aren't too good on the streak, so far at least.

im almost through the whole game and eliminations were hell!
i was stuck on the san fran elimination forever
but what i do is just slam into another cars side into the walls
or i drive by them side by side and use a boost
I beat Asphalt 5 about a week ago, the eliminations are a pain. What I did was take out the last place car from the start, and every time he gets back to speed, keep ramming him. Worked for me YMMV of course. Finally unlocked the Gumpert, but I never found the 'secret menu' that I've seen online.

I erased it after i installed NFS Shift.

eliminations are easy, just ram them into the wall...
and i backed everything up with MyBackupPro, flashed a new firmware, restored, game didnt need to download stuff or anything but no savegame data? not even a folder for savegame in first place and nowhere to load career or anything ingame?
does it pull from online ?

You just have to change the acceleration to manual and stand your car on a narrow road where you know all cpus must pass by then the'll be slammed to wall after hitting your car. That's how I cheated (but it's not really cheating right? because that's how cop's cars do it on the Escape levels).
I just beat the game, unlocked the last Ferrari Fxx at level 49, and beat all the reward, the game says there's a prize for beating all reward but I can't see anything new in the garage... Anyone knows why? I play it on my N1.
Why is this game saying it is incompatible with my Galaxy 10.1 and Acer A500 when I can blatantly see reviews for both devices under the marketplace listing!!!
Other people have the game installed, what is going on here?

it works just fine here man.... i'd even go as far as saying that this game runs just as smooth, if not smoother then it did on my ps2!!!!! for real, this is one of the best games i have ever played on my tablet , in the sense of how fluid it plays with absolutly no lag what so ever..... also plays great on my google nexus and htc amaze
Maybe they changed it for some reason. If you still want to install it, you can clear your markets applicationdata, edit your /System/buid.prop and change your device to something like
ro.product.model = Nexus S
ro.product.manufacturer = samsung
or whatever phone is still compatible to download it

that's the weird thing, I did a little investigating and there haven't been any updates according to the Market website, it's still version 1.0

Go to the Rockstar website and find the game. Apparently the company didn't test the game for rooted and jailbroken devices. It won't work properly if your device is rooted, which sucks because they waited to add that little bit until myself and a lot of others bought it already and found out the next day that it now comes up as incompatible. They are willing to refund the money. Just follow the instructions they have.

Ha! There's nothing about rooted devices that stops it from running except the fear that it will get pirated...

i downloaded when I was stock, flashed my first ROM and was able to reinstall it through a titanium backup i did... sucks that I wont be able to recieve any updates. hope they fix this...

Say I were to flash from a custom rom back to stock. Think it would work the same way?
Edit: flashed to stock rom and can download again. TB works like a charm

I'm on a stock ROM (freshly updated to 3.2) and Root Checker says there's not root access.

My Tab's rooted too... the key to getting it to work if you have issues (won't start, no sound, etc) seems be to delete the resource files (Android/data/com.rockstar.gta3) and restart the app, forcing it to download it again. Works perfectly after that.
It's working on mine also, stock 3.2 HC rooted. Just installed & downloaded game data
It's back! It's returned to the My Apps list on my Tab and market.android.com also reports it's compatible again!

I was wondering if anyone had this issue. I recently tried to download Dead Space from the market, but it wont let me download it due to device compatibility issues. Now, i already edited my build.prop file (i used GT-i9100....) and i know it worked because i was able to download Lets Golf 3 (even though i later read a thread saying it still wont play right).
I'm wondering if anyone was able to download Dead Space, and if so, what did you edit the build.prop to say so that it would let you download the game?

Afaik build.prop just tells the app which device it is running on.. so no change for market?
if you changed your build.prop to lets say 10 different devices, market would believe you had an equal amount of devices linked to your account.. and as I have changed my TPs prop to Nexus S and there's still no Nexus S option available for download.. I'm pretty sure that build.prop just exists to tell the software which device you're running on.

I'm having the same issues, edited everything that said HP to htc (to match my evo 3d) but still shows up on android market.com as "HP HTC shooteru" lol where is market getting the HP part from??

I've asked him kinda, he seems to think using GT-I9100 and Samsung works but it hasn't for me....
Someone did a great job on the dev thread just a while ago. Asked same question plus threw in a screenshot of his build.prop. Me thinks we'll get a better answer and possibly a solution soon.

Try deleting/format/cache/dalvik cache 3 times and then re-flash the rom. This solved the problem for me.

Wow. Seriously? That just seems redundant, but I know how fickle the cache can be. Fwiw I have been tinkering around for several days, wiping and flashing numerous times (over 3), but still no dice. Im not that desparate though. I can wait for an update from Leo if a simpler fix doesn't come along.
Seems leo is gonna do magic soon anyway. Its been more of a pain re-applying all my homescreen settings than being able to get a game to work.
Appreciate the advice all the same!

I changed build.prop to GT-I9000, Gameloft games play fine with that build.prop for me.
So I bought NBA Jam on Google Play today, which works great on my i9100. I tried to copy it over to my touchpad, and am having no luck so far. I copied the com folder from android/data and installed the akp, but it still bounces off EA's servers and times out for some reason.
tl;dr Has anyone gotten NBA Jam working on the touchpad without resorting to piracy? Thanks

It might just be that. My app was causing issues with modified Build Props too. If you have a back up of your Build Prop prior to tweaking it, try to load it up.

This game does work for ICS. I run it on my g2 with andromedous rom and it works fine. I tried every which way of getting it on my touchpad but it won't work. Titanium backup way didn't do it. I manually placed the sd data and it still won't play. Seems like most EA games have problem with touchpad.
edit: i just tried to change my dpi from 120 to 160 and still no go. manually place sd data. tried to d/l data....nothing. i keep trying and will let you guys know if i get it working somehow.

i tried changing build prop to my g2 cuz it plays fine and i still get the error. i got it to load if use chain fire but it chrashes at loading screen. almost.

works on my transformer with the official ICS. im getting a touchpad by the end of the week, ill post my results.
When I try downloading Sims Freeplay, I get the same 5002 error as well. Haven't tried NBA jam yet.
Only EA game I got to work is Madden NFL 12.
For all EA Games, we can't download the SD Data due to a "5002" country gate error. This is the "workaround" that EA provided me with. I haven't tried it yet because I haven't had the time. Good luck:

I've had dead space and need for speed hot pursuit working. I used a titanium backup from my g2. Usually works because they both snapdragon andreno series.
Nba jam just won't do anything. I've exausted every possible way one can get a game to work. It will not work. Better luck to someone else.
Btw, the game is worth the headache if some1 does make it work. It play on g2 and is amazing. So much fun.

How did you get hot pursuit to work? I says it says it needs download and then doesn't download, stays at 0%

you may need to use an adreno device to get the data files...
can some1 please pm me the sdcard data from their phone or tab? I have data for andreno snapdragon but only mobile data. Not sure of there is tablet data. I'm looking for power vr or nvidia data. Anything I don't have. Hopefully a combo of diff data and ch#infire tweaks .... something will take.
Is trade SD data "piracy"? I should think not. If it is... my bad. Disregard.

Update: So apparently this has been cracked by HBOTroll1, all thanks to him. You can find his thread here. Unfortunately I have dumped my photon because of Motorola's failed promises. It was a great phone but I will never again by from this company. I also do not have HBO GO anymore because of this issue but I might get it again to try this apk. I am reposting a direct link to the apk here.
This has been confirmed to work on the Photon by others. Also if you have an MHL device to try this on that would be appreciated. I am not sure if MHL is a problem to begin with though...
Disclaimer: To my extremely limited knowledge reposting this does not violate any copyright laws, which is not my intention. My belief is that this is a lack of functionality in the program which has been fixed in this apk. If such is not the case, HBO please contact me so we can discuss this error in your program.

I mean you can just go to isohunt or thepiratebay and search for game of thrones 720p. Then download the playstation media server and install the extra codecs and whatnot they recomend. This will let your computer transcode the video files so that the ps3 can output the video over your network. Wifi N can handle the video great and plug in a hundred foot Ethernet cable for $13 and get beautiful streaming with 5.1 surround sound.

Unfortunately I don't think there is any kind of workaround for this. I remember having the same issue. Think I tried running HBO from browser in Webtop mode but can't remember if it just didn't work or if it worked and the video was bad quality.
Probably better off downloading vid from the net and installing to view locally.

I'm guessing that it check the version number and would want you to update. Though if anyone has an older apk I would love to try this out!
I have version 1.3.1, I just installed version 1.7.1 and installed this version and it still plays fine, haven't tried hdmi out using version 1.3.1 yet. But I'll upload it tomorrow, I'm away from my computer right now

I used splashtop on my Macbook which also works on PC to get it working everytime without fail. I have a video on youtube that shows me doing it but I am a newb so I can't post link. lol
sorry everybody, i thought the thread was dead but here is the hbogo 1.3.1 apk, just fyi it gives out the original error message saying that there is something wrong, not the new one stating the program doesn't allow hdmi out.
