Recommendations for new Back Cover - Hero, G2 Touch Accessories

Hi there
I bought a larger capacity battery (2200mAh) but the back cover that came with it is pretty cheap looking.
I have had a look but only seem to be able to find covers for regular battery sizes or batteries and covers.
Can anyone point me in the right direction for good quality larger back covers?
Cheers

Mutually exclusive terms unfortunately ...
haven't seen any good covers, or any suitable oversized gel cases, so haven't gone down this path

2400mAh battery for Hermes

Has anyone tried this one

looks lke the new back door they provide is no where near as bluging as the 3200mAh version doing the rounds ..... but the picture may be deceptive !!
Anyone got one or used one
I have a 2800mah one I bought from igonemobile.com (via eBay).. the one that is bigger than normal and requires the special case that comes with it. I actually like it since it lifts the speaker up. With the original battery, if the phone is flat, the speaker is blocked. This 2800 works pretty good. Seems to like playing mp3's, wi-fi, and T-mobile internet usage so far. I have not charged it since Friday (Monday now) and it has like 50% power left.
I bought one in ebay (from China). 7€ + 4€ postal cost. It works nice ¡¡

Why did you double post this from the accessories forum?
Whats case do you use?
Hey guys,
you use the bigger Battery.
Which case do you use, no case?
I find no case for the bigger batteries...
Thanks!
Oliver
Yes I was wondering the same thing but I don't know if it would fit into my i.trek charger so it could be a moot point for me.
I guess maybe I just need a good "eyeglass style" case for my device.
A case for a bigger battery
Hey,
do you have tips which case I can use if I want a Battery with 2400 or 3200mAH
Thanks!
Oliver
Go to fortte dot com they make great cases and now have one that fits both extended and regular.
d
so do you guys reccommend getting 2 regular size batteries or an extended. the picture for the 3200mAH extended makes it look crazy big. i like keeping it in my pocket. What do you prefer? Also, what is the longest lasting batterry that can fit in the phone without a different back? Thanks guys. Just got my phone yesterday. Loving it. Trying to get all the things i need.
Good tip, more tips?
Thanks dwella,

But I love cases I can use my TYTN in the case, no need to pull it out.
Normaly I worked with Brando Alu Cases ore PDAIR Leather Cases with open front.

Will a Touch Pro 2 back cover fit a Tilt 2 body?

I recently bought an OEM 2150 mah extended battery for my Tilt 2 on eBay, and it was supposed to come with a larger back cover, but it wasn't in the package. Considering the problems I had just getting the battery from the seller, I not really expecting to get the cover, although I have asked.
I can't seem to find a place selling back covers for the Tilt 2 extended battery, no place to seems to have them in stock. ATT.com sells the battery but not back cover. It's annoying.
So my question is will the Touch Pro back cover fit a Tilt 2 body? If the stock cover will fit, then it pretty much stands to reason that an extended battery cover will fit also. But I want to make sure before I drop $15-20 on it.
Thanks for any info!
Try google... I found this with a basic search.

EDIT:
Unfortunately like every other place, they are out of stock and do not know when they are getting more in...
Sorry, have you tried HTC? Since this is an OEM part maybe they have stock...

Replacement battery covers

If this phone had a non-removable cover I wouldn't even consider it because of the finish they've applied. That said, is there any reason there shouldn't be suitable quality matte or textured replacements?
I dunno. Ive never seen any with the sgs2.
I've used my sgs2 religiously for about a year and I have never had a problem with my back battery cover. And I swap out the battery almost once a day.

I heard the rechargeable battery cover will have grubber grips on it or something.
I've seen plenty of replacement battery doors on ebay for the s2 and the galaxy nexus, so I'd say there's a good chance. I don't know how good the quality is though.
IF there is one, will that mach the phones color and hyperglaze? i would like to have few alternatives
Maybe someone will make one with the same texture as on SGSII . I like it.

The problem is the hyperglaze. That's what's making the polycarbonate cover slick and glossy. I think white might be safer for people planning on changing the rear cover. Easy to find a white cover, and even if it's different it shouldn't look odd. That pebble blue print is unique and will look terrible if the rear cover doesn't match.

Why are 99% of extended batteries FUGLY?

Is it a NFC thing? Why do almost all of the i717 extended batteries feature the battery hump as opposed to the full thickness covers? Mugen seems to be the only one making them look good, and taking advantage of that space to throw in a kickstand while at it. I bought one on Ebay yesterday for the sole reason it had the full thickness cover, and today the seller updated his add to say "cover shape may vary" so I'm guessing when it shows it will have the hump also. Most of the International covers are full thickness though....why?
And can you recommend a Mugen knock-off in the $10-20 range?? Thanks.
only thing i can think of as to the hump is that maybe they don't want to have to deal with camera obstructions or something like that, im not saying that's it but could be one reason.
and cheaper to manufacture .

When I heard back from the Ebay seller they said it does indeed have the fugly hump, and blamed it on the antenna? Not sure how Mugen is pulling the good looking style off then.
The antenna does need to contact the connection points but there's no reason not to use pegs to hold the antenna in place while having the full-size cover. I suspect Mugen does that or puts the antenna on the back of the kickstand. It costs more to make a full-size cover due to the solid plastic and larger design.

No way does it cost $80 more to implement that...oh and throwing in a cheap kickstand.
Having used phones with both the "bump" (cheap 5200 one) and the progressive "hump" (mugen), the cheap bump actually works ergonomically better for me. It allows me to have a more firm grip on the device.
For the first time, I switched back to the OEM battery and case....and man, I miss the thinness. Here's to hoping Sammy pulls the biggest surprise for the note 2, a RAZR MAXX inspired battery!

Aftermarket Battery Door?

Tried searching here but to no avail. Anyone know where I can get custom battery covers for the Note 3? Cost is not too much of an issue but I've been looking for a custom battery cover for my Note 3 as I'm getting really bored of the default faux leather back. If anyone has any ideas where to look please let me know?
Google hasn't really helped much either.
I too would like to know, as some days I want to see my phone w/out my bulky otterbox case on it....BUT....I'm too smart to know that I'll soon drop it due to the slipperiness of this phone!!!!

Unfortunately there aren't many good custom back covers out there... most have either worse (more slippery) grip, or metal ones that degrade signal reception.
I definitely don't want it in metal, but for the slippery grip, it's not an issue. I'll be using a transparent cover over it anyway!
I saw some on amazon, but they are in pastel colors. just type in Anley note 3
I'd be happy with just a battery cover that eliminated the raised part around the camera. Not sure why they thought the phone resting on that all the time was going to be a good idea. I'm so afraid of scratching it up. I tried a case for a while, which worked great. But the bulk got to me after a while and I removed the case.
Dunno about you but the case I used added more space between the camera and the table top. but was still pretty slim....

I use the wireless charging back cover from Samsung and it is raised over the camera. It adds a bit of weight but I feel like that's how the phone should be and it has a nice leather feel
Cover
The charging cover looks really interesting. Wonder what the battery life is on a wireless charge.
I decided to try one of these from amazon. It's called Bubbleback, lot of different colors. Fits very good, the texture is leather look only, not actual faux leather like original back. It's plastic so it's a bit slippery. I have a clear case so no biggy.
Might consider buying one of those for the next world cup... XD
Samsung actually sells about 20 different coloured backdoors for the Note 3, ranging from metallic look to smooth plastic to matte pastel. Most official Samsung stores (not sales points, the actual Samsung stores. There's one in The Hague, for example) sell them.

I'm selling Samsung Original Wireless charging S Charger Cover for Note 3 . Color black. It is practically unused - I just like the feel of the original cover better. $20 + shipping. PM me if you are interested.
