Re-Install Market? - Fascinate Android Development

Market started force closing whenever I try and install something I just download. Not to mention 3 downloads are frozen at the install part. Is there a way to re-install market?

have you applied the lag fix (voodoo)? Or any theme? The reason i ask is i ran into this anytime i would apply a theme and then re-apply the puzzle lock screen. My market wouldn't download or it would work for a few hours, then after a reboot it would stop again. The only way i got it back working was to start from a stock DI10 rom and build it from there...

Just go to thee odin posr

Themes aren't working anymore.

Ever since I downloaded this one theme and it didn work, My phone cannot install themes. Every time I install a theme, I will boot up, get force closes that I dont even know what force closes because im stuck on a black screen, and I always have to restore back to my last save. What is up with this.
What rom are you using? That would help out things a lot better
We need more info. We need to know what ROM you are using, what theme you tried flashing, and any other info you can provide. Otherwise, you just have a story for a first post that no one is going to do anything with but read over and move on.
Sounds like dbdata issue. Try adrynalyne's 2.7 fix. He has a tar/odin file in there that will fix your phone.

I have stock eb01 deodexed. Some themes work once I install a theme that gives me force closes, then install another theme over that. I really have gaven up and Dont care anymore. I guess the fix is the re-flash stock eb01 with odin, but im way to lazy

Can not download apps through Android Market

So, recently when I tried to upgrade to gingerbread (RevolutionRom) I followed all of the instructions to a tease. It worked, but I couldn't get phone service and the battery didn't last 5 hours.
ANYWAYS I went back to trigger and used MyBackup Root to back up all of my apps and data. When I tried to download an app from the Android Market, it would start to show it downloading in the top left corner, then it went away. Recently the new android market came out, so I installed it hoping that it would fix the problem, but it came up with an error "insufficient space on your device" I reflashed the rom, and I even flashed a different rom.
Any ideas how to fix this?
I can download apps either. Im on the new market and the old one wont even open. This one tells me an error has occurred please try again. Wtf?

[Q] Anyone else having problems with new GMarket constantly FC'ing?

Just wondering if anyone can help me out. A few days ago I installed the new market apk that was floating around. It installs fine, and once it loads the main title screen it FC's.
I've tried all install methods, uninstalling the old, overwriting the the vending.apk.. as well as combinations of wipe cache/data for market, and market updater. I've also tried wiping cache/dav cache as well.
Now tonight I just tried the updated gapps package.. flashed from CWM, and same problem.
I'm telus fascinate, cm7 galaxysmtd70, glitch v11.
Any help?
Thanks.
FYI, I have CM7 Build 3 from nightlies thread.
I installed the new market ('vending.apk'), it is not fc'ing for me. But it does seem to take longer to load than the old version of the Android Market. My LauncherPro, however, does force close from time to time.
Try running 'permission fix' from ROM manager that came with CM7.
I ran this fix and the first time my phone booted, it was on 'safe mode.' Pulled battery and everything was fine. I have yet to find any fc'ing issues after doing so.
Try your luck!
Go into settings then force stop and delete data for Market. Reboot, then try opening the Market.
Thanks for the suggestions, but neither worked. I got to figure this out. If I do, I will keep this post updated.
I cannot figure this out for the life of me. I've tried everything. Including full wipe and reinstall. Still getting the FC's.

which recovery did you try to flash the gapps. zip with? Did you use the power button menu reboot recovery...or did you three finger boot to recovery?...im just saying I've done it by accident/force of habit!...just covering the bases since this is the first I've heard of gaps not installing correctly or fc'ing left and right on anyone.

Update revolution

Any benefit in updating revolution? I used the second release. I have to figure out why I fc all the time. Didn't happen until root. Also stick with twrp or load clockwork?
Finally any way to go to recovery from android, like clockwork does? Great feature.
I picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue!
Try quick boot from the market. And see if that helps
Locked & Loaded
" Shooter on Deck"
TWRP for sure, +1 for quick boot from the market, right to bootloader or recovery. As far as the force closes, try a full wipe, reformat boot, data, system and cache. then install a rom fresh (no extras just a good base rom) and see if you have the fc's if not then add your apps, if you get fc's you will have to go back and start from scratch loading an app at a time untill you find the culprit. Also some kernels don't play nice with some phones so you can try different kernels and OC speed (provided you are using an OC kernel).
Good luck.
I found the issue. I had the stock voice mail app frozen, since I use google voice. After enabling it, the FC issues went away.

Force closing!

Sup guys. As you can see, this is my first post on the forum. I've had two android phones, the HTC Aria, and LG Thrill, and I recently picked up the LGOG. I unlocked the phone thanks to thecubed and the team and so out of excitement I started uninstalling a whole bunch of google apps. I finally came to one and after the uninstall I received a pop up saying that the google play store shut down unexpectedly. Now when I try to open the google app store it opens and closes almost instantly. I tried downloading another GAS apk and when I installed it, I still got the same response.. almost instant force close. Can anybody shed some light on how I can get it up and running again? Any help is much appreciated, thanks.
Try flashing "The Base" without wiping anything. If you want to see what's safe to uninstall, use Titanium Back to freeze them and see if you run into problems.
