It's got great review, and I have seen it as low as 19.99.

Yeah, I use a 32GB.... Go online at Verizon Wireless >>> Here!!!
It is Legit & The Cheapest you can find
Or buy a 16gb from them, its a stealer also

i also went the newegg route. i picked up a transcend micro sdhc 8gb class 6 and really like it. note that the big differences in price are due to size (gb) and speed (class). class 6 seemed to be a good compromise on speed and value. i'm guessing the 2gb card that came with the phone is class 2.
good luck.

Memory Card Question For HTC TyTn

Hi,
I'l like to purchase either a 1GB or 2GB card for my TyTn. Some of the local stores only keep the 1GB Sandisk and no 2GB.
The question I have is the one store only has the standard Sandisk 1GB Micro SD Card and not the Sandisk Ultra II.
Is there really a big difference in performance and what would one recommend as a card and where to purchase from over the internet?
Thanks
Ari

FYI, I dont think there is a Sandisk Ultra II 2GB card available. And the Ultra II cards are supposed to be much faster (W/R, 9MB/10MB) compared to the regular cards.

microSD available many places
You will see the 2 GB Sandisk microSD available all over the place. eBay has them, as well as various vendors with internet purchasing.
Eventually, we'll see the "ultra" sandisk versions of the microSD. For now, I went for the 2 GB version available, because 1 GB is too limiting, especially if you use the TyTN for music.

What brand SDHC card is everyone using?

Does not seam like im the only one having problems with my card. I have posted a couple of times and was directly refering to att rom. I have since tried some new roms and my transcend 4 gb class 6 still does not work properly. Before I purchase a new one I would like to know what everyone else is using. I would like to get a 4 gb because that is in my price range.
Thanks,
Nicholas
Well, not using SDHC Card, just 2Gb SanDisk arround many WM6/6.1 ROMs, and it's works well
I have a sandisk 2GB and it works great no problems. The price gap between a 2gb and a 4gb cards has me salivating for more space.
I'm using an 8GB SDHC card (Class 4: around 7.5MB/sec) from SanDisk. You can easily find them these days for around € 30,-
I'm using SunDisk 8Gb sold at AT&T store. It has been working without fail so far. Previously I have used 2gb, 4Gb version and they works fine with everyday I play music during my commute and place temp file for the pocket explorer as well as exchange push-ed e-mail attachments.
Hi
I run Schap's 3.54b and use a class 2 SanDisk 4Gb SDHC (part no. SDSDQ-4096-E11M).
It works perfectly!!
Now i'm waiting a 8Gb bought here at great price:
http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.13305
When i test it i'll let you know.
Bye
I've got my new 8Gb SanDisk uSHDC (code SDSDQ-8192-P60M) and it works well on my Hermes200.
sandisk 4GB, so many mp3s and TV shows =P.
I just bought an 8GB SanDisk Mobile Ultra (Class 8 microSDHC) from a local store here today. It's been working great so far.
I have Sandisk 8gb class4....
Question:
Will a San Disk 16gb class2 work in my phone?
Sandisk 4GB is about right for my hermes...
sandisk 4gb.
SanDisk 4GB class2
Not working, Hermes (Tytn)
ROM Schap's pro 4.31, not working
ROM WM_6.1_TouchFlo2D_UC_ WWE v3, not working
ROM MRH 9.0 Valerian | FINAL | UC | Build 20273 |, not working
Someone can help?
2GB Kingston
I got a killer deal on outpost.com (Fry's online store) today. $11.99 for a 2gb micro sd card "mobility kit", with usb adapter, and 2 added adapters (sd and mini sd). If you order online and then choose your local Fry's as the pickup you can get the online prices "in the store" right then and there without a delivery charge. Has a lifetime warranty and case for the spare adapters.
I'm running the old 5.0 O/S on my Hermes. It recognized it right away. No problems.

Update...........it does work
I have a 4GB class 6 card from Transcend. Price was around 11,- € and it works great. No problems till now and a reading speed of 14 MB/s and writing speed of 9 MB/s.
Wait... a second...
Does SDHC works with tytn (hermes100) att 8525?
But... are you using a patch for drivers or certificates?
I think it dont recognize HC?!!!!
Damn!!!
I'm using a SanDisk 4GB class2, and it works just fine.
I keep a lot of pdf manuals, excel and word files on it. Along with installing extra programs, and backing things up.

Damn is right, LOL.. I bought a Kingston 2GB SD card from micro center, they had 4GB on sale too, I saw on HTC site Hermes only supported 2GB..
So how big a card can I go? Does the ROM have anything to do with that? I'm using WM6.1Pro..
I think someone already replied in this thread saying they are running a 16gb card. I have a tiny 6gb now and will upgrade to a 16gb soon. Need more storage, TomTom 7 uses over a gig just for maps and install software.

SD card class

It looks like the unbranded 8gb class 6 card i bought has completely stopped working, so i'm thinking of getting a new sandisk card.
People previously thought that the class of the card affected the performance of the phone. Is that still what people still think now the new ROM has come out and sped up the phone?
Any advice on how to revive my unresponsive card (phone say no sd card detected). Or what card to get as a replacement, i might go for 16gb.
I'm using a 16Gb card myself i bought it on ebay its not a 6 class card. It isn't slow i'm listning music play games(games are on sd card) but it was never slow.
hero was slow with the stock rom.
Is it branded? I think buying a cheap unbranded one before was a mistake.
The one i have says toshiba. ad what i read is that there is no major difference between class 2 and 4 but i'm not sure. i didn't pay much it was a cheap one. i make also backups off my sd card if happends something to my sd card.
If you want to buy a good one buy a branded one. sandisk is a great one.
Anyone have any problems using a class 2 card?

[Q] Best microSD card!!!

What is the best (and compatible) microSD card for the Galaxy S III?
I heard that the Sandisk Extreme Pro had fantastic speeds but I also have been looking at reviews of Sandisk cards and a lot of people aren't seeing the expected speeds. Some people have recommended that Extreme Pro card but according to the compatibility list on Sandisk's website, it's not compatible.
Have any of you tried Samsung cards? I have seen decent reviews with them.
Also does anyone out there know the maximum Bus Speed for the slot?
Any opinions?

I wonder if people are getting actual genuine merchandise. It just seems that too many people are reporting slow speeds.

I think a big reason people report slow speeds is that the bus speed will only allow certain speeds, which is lower then the cards capability.
For example:
Card CAN go these speeds...
24MB/Read
13MB/Write
But the limitations of the phone will only allow these speeds...
14MB/Read
8MB/Write
I'm also really wanting to know what the Galaxy III's limitations are.
All depend on class I always get SanDisk name brand.... I got a class 4 I wanna get a 64GB class ten shockproof & waterproof one but they are like $110 :<
yea that makes more sense
I don't have my SGSIII yet, but the Class 10 32GB card by Samsung absolutely flies compared to the card that came with my Epic. Plus it's supposedly shockproof and waterproof.
Just make sure you get a genuine one by purchasing through a reputatable source. I've heard some of the one's on Amazon and EBay are fakes. Got mine from Frys when it was on sale.

I also have a Class 4 that came with and currently have in my Samsung Galaxy S Epic 4G. That is why I'm really wanting an upgrade.
Does anyone know what formats the Galaxy S III will take? SDHC? SDXC? Compatible with UHS-I? Also what Class?
By the way, a fantastic resource for SD cards is...
https://www.sdcard.org/consumers/speed/bus_speed/
I have confirmed with Samsung that the card slot is compatible only up to Class 10 cards.
Anyone have suggestions on the best Class 10 microSD card out there?

Thank by the way.
Type of SD
I am getting conflicting information on how much external memory the MicroSD card accepts and also what type it supports. Can someone tell me what type ie...
MicroSD
MicroSDHC
MicroSDXC
I spoke with samsung support and they only say my I747 only supports upto 32GB of Regular MicroSD and not MicroSDXC.
Thanks.
i believe that the official Samsung specs only list up to 32GB MicroSDHC but MANY people have confirmed the phone can handle 64gb MicroSDXC cards with no problems.

[Q] MicroSD Card 64GB in SGS2

I know Sandisk 64GB will work in SGS2 if one only have the need of space for backup, movies and music (apps to SD will fail).
Lots of info about SanDisk ... couldn't find any about Samsung and Kingston 64GB cards ...
Have anybody tried 64GB MicroSD Card from Samsung or Kingston in SGS2?
Is it same same or do I have to buy SanDisk in order to get it working?
Paracetamol is paracetamol.
Ibuprofen is ibuprofen.
MicroSDXC is microSDXC.

Brand shouldnt make a difference as far as compatibility with device.
Just dont even think about getting a card from ebay though. You will just end up with a fake version that has been modded to display larger then what it is.
