finaly am at last step of ARABIC UI for MIUI
am using Locale2.apk when i change to arabic Number went arabic old Number ill show u
wht i need to change the clock number to the English like 10:00

I've tried to install the .zip file into Rodregez MIUI 1.5 rom but the it keep stuck on the boot img need help anyone tried this. Zip file

I knew the site mate and I've been testin all the arabic files they share but non of 'em worked the RoDrIgUeZsTyLe MIUIMOD V1.5 any ideas so I can read Arabic in the Rom I don't want the UI to be arabic.

After you change the libskia.so file concerned only link letters
Still we have a problem reading the words mirrored in the browser and e-mail
The solution is simple if one knows modify some files, such as Darky's ROM and other

it's a english rom...only a copy

1.far away from you
2.i post this link to all chinese HTC forum.....now it be downloading every where...

nope.. thats my rom and this is what he mod:
1. Ramdisk (he told me that)
2. Change ROM date and time
3. Mod some stupid cosmetic stuff
4. And another stupid mod. thats all

I Tried this but my system lagged when I read any arabic words

Can you extract UrukDroid 1.0 rom and do this patch to the framework.jar
then Compress it again ??

Nope, i just stumbeled over that.
I have no need for arabic nor any experience with that.
But you don't have to extract anything from Uruk, as this is not like other ROM's.
The files are here in a zip file, so simple unzip, change the file and then zip again schould do fine.
Then put it into /data/UrukUpdate and wait.

hey all
after a lot of searching i was using the Arabic fix which was only contain a file called libskia.so,and that was OK but have a problem when u use numbers or when u write part of the text in English and the other part in Arabic,
but now i just found out in a Persian forum this file which i uploaded and try it on trip miui 1.5.6 and its really great,it fix the whole bugs,but there is just a little problem in the end of the line the last character is missing sometimes (depends on the line long ) but any way it much better
but still no support in the original browser and Gmail,but am still searching ,for me am using Mozilla firefox and it serves me well for Arabic browsing

It's said clearly in the title (language - arabic/persian support in MIUI 2.2.1) which means only for 2.2.1 ROMS ;-)

This issue hasn't been dealt with in the S5830i forums, I was just trying to help searchers of this issue, be better advised.
Question not answered on time, doesn't mean that the problem has been solved. Thanks anyway, hope this does somebody some good. Just putting more correct information out there.
