Does anyone know of a good free app to install transparent icons on the home screen just like we can do on the launcherpro dock.

Use Desktop Visualizer. Its free and on the market.

Do a search for transparent.png on the web, then apply with Desktop Visualizer.

same here, i got "weather & toggle widget" +the addon, have all animations beside the minute/hour flip change
Yes, now there is. Check out my widget. Still got a lot of work to do on it, but the basics are there.

I don't need or want to see my lockscreen slider. I want to see my wallpaper. Can an invisible slider be built at the bottom of the screen?

I think theoretically you can go insert some clear png files in place of the current ones if you are comfortable getting in there.

I have Widget Locker. Widget Locker doesn't have Transparent slider.
I guess I can replace the slider png's with transparent ones in the apk.

I personally use beautiful widgets. That has a lot of great option to choose from as far as skins go. Also I'd check out simi clock widget as well.

animated clock widget its free.
Ive been using Bob clock for a while. You can customize it to your liking. Check it out, its free.
Typo clock is cool for a busy minimalist look. Otherwise BW is king.

I love the themes and how the icons cover every single app but I prefer the functionality of launcher pro. Are there theme packs like this for lpp? If so where could I find them?

Yes the are both for LPP...google it and search the Market.

They have all sorts of icons, including some android ones. They are transparent or you can choose white or black backgrounds.
Here's a snapshot of my ADW launcher dock with custom icons for my folders.
