This is a port of UltraLinx's Minimal Matte theme for the Droid2. I used parts of Minimalist and Monochrome, since the Minimal Matte theme was just the framework. For Minimal Matte White, I did the Photoshop editing myself (with some help from Echo), to get all the icons inverted... If I missed any, let me know.
You must be rooted, deodexed, and have Koush's Bootstrapper to install.

If you're using white or light grey, please redownload... I forgot to theme the market update notification in the status bar. If anyone sees something else I missed, please let me know.
Switched the download animation on all 4, and fixed a few more icons:
Noticed today, the dropdown background was off... Fixed on all four themes:

Some icons on light grey are not transparent... will fix sometime today.
When I pull down notification bar on Minimal Black the font is black and I can't read it. Anyway I can fix this?

I guess its just my music app. When I pull the notification bar down the background is black and so is the font color so I can't read what’s playing.

first of all here is the info on my droid2 under about phone:

my phone is rooted and deodexed and i am looking for themes i can flash but i get confused when reading post and they refer to the ver 2.2 or 2.3.1.5 do i need to be concerned with the theme matching the android version or the system version or both.
Any help would be great!

Using the theme now and loving it!!!! A couple things though, since installed over epic 2.5 I there a way to get rid of the text messaging app? I have the one called messaging and the text messaging one doesn't work. Also is there any way to get the icon from the text messaging app icon for my handcent app? It doesn't match any of the other icons in the launcher pro dock

Are you using the default icon set like the words in the picture? If so, just change the shortcut of the icon to launch handcent.

Thanks for the quick support but I'm still having problems. Did you update the link? My power control widget/settings shortcut icons are still galaxy s themed and the market icon is still cardboard box.

Thanks a lot, quick response and everything is fixed. Like I said before if I can ever put in a request for certain apps/widgets to be themed and you have the time it'd be really appreciated.
I kept the revo theme on my phone after I tested and uploaded, and I noticed about half an hour later, that the buttons were black with black text.... Should be the last fix. Re-uploading it now.

Small request from you. Is there anyway that you could make a status bar only mod. I personally love the change in the status bar icons however, would prefer the normal rom and black status bar to go along with it, and no blue tint

no need to wipe, the update script in it will wipe youre catches for you. just flash through recovery like the op says

Notification bar color question
Hi Tiger. Thanks for all the time and work you put into this great theme. Just a quick question.
In some of the handcent pictures in the original post, you have a black background for the notification bar. I like the blue but I'm personally diggin' the black background because your notification icons are the best I've seen, with the black background making them stand out more for me. Is that something we can change ourselves or is the blue background, which is still great, the only one? Just wondering. Thanks for the help.

Yes, i will make a flashable zip with the glow a little darker. I plan on theming more apps tomorrow

Wait, you want to flash the dark glow after you flashed the theme?? If so, just put the dark glow zip on ur sd, and flash thru tenfars cwm. Simple!

How would I go about using this theme with the stock motorola gb battery icon? And any other theme for that matter. Metamorph has been all wacky for me on gb so that's a no go Is there a flashable zip for it? I just don't like seeing my batteries % all the time..stresses me out lol. you also have a bad 9png - your volume bar slider in the dropdown settings.
if you need help finding and fixing and updating and learning, go to the intro to themeing sticky thread in evo3D themes section and ask away - lots of helpful sense themers in that thread

That is a .xml edit in framework-res/drawable/progress-horizontal.xml
for that bad .9.png duce speaks of just decompile framework-res (which you have to for the above mentioned anyway) or com.htc.resources cant remember which its in right now, and that bad png will error out and tell you exactly which one it is.

Tried your red bubbles and it seems that the bubbles are a little misaligned. I would like a a more richer red if possible the color looks closer to a dark brown.

Yeah, I've gotten this complaint from someone else as well.
I forgot to mention to delete:
systemUI.odex
downloadprovider.odex
downloadproviderUi.odex
then reboot to recovery and clear dalvik and cache, reboot - and that should fix it.
Thanks Andy. I had already shut down when I saw your post and after I restarted, the bar was back with the transparency. Didn't have to delete the files .Thanks again!

it will f/c every time you do transparency or do recent apps, a reboot will always fix it, i still suggest deleting those .odexs.

I'm new here, and I've recently rooted my HTC sensation. I'm loving some of the mods that are out there. I'm just curious as to whether this mod will work with the sense 3.5 and GB 2.3.4?
I had a look at the UOT Kitchen and I think I'd like to have a mess around with that too, see what i can come up with. But for now, how do i edit the framework-res.apk to remove the battery (I have my own sense theme with %)? I'm still a n00b at all this and i don't wanna brick my expensive phone.

I keep getting some black on black text, like when I'm downloading or using Google music, idk if that's out of your control or not,but I was wondering if there was a stock notification bar anywhere ? Or would I have to reflash the rom ? other than the black text sometimes all is swell with this mod
needs updates to 1.2. as far as the black text on black problem,it's because those apps were set with black text with developers assumption that everyone had a white background

Edit- doesn't work with 1.2. I got a status bar fc and no status bar. Thankfully I did a nandroid. An update for compatability with 1.2 would be awesome. Pumped on all the support the rez is getting. much better than the d2g. Thanks for all the hard work.

I was afraid to try the UOT kitchen because for most PNG's it won't support higher than 960x540, and I was nervous of it making some systemui.apk and framework-res changes that I didn't want! It works for Rezound in some instances, it must be, I take it?
Also, Pardon my ignorance, sir (as I cannot figure it out by searching, it seems),
but what is the MMS Fix, exactly?
