Hi All,
I have just updated my mini pro with build no U20i_1238-8536 (my phone was rooted).
But After updating the phone I cannot see any app that can access the SD Card .. so I cannot access the apps that I already had like some live wallpaper , some decent launcher etc ..please help ..(I cannot access market with Vodafone India Live ...)

Thank you for your reply. I sorted out like this -
I sent Astro.apk from computer via bluetooth and once receiving finished I could installed it (thank god bluetooth worked for receiving file).

Hi. I need your help please. X10 mini was rooted and now I need to install Hebrew fonts, I did it before on Galaxy S , HTC Desire but here when I enter terminal cant see any keyboard, how should I type? Do you have any other way to install Hebrew?

did you try to install the "Israel pack" ?
Google "android israel pack" (I can't send links from outside websites yet...)
it did the job on my x10 mini.
and I'm using SlideIt who also support Hebrew (and also anysoftkeyboard)
numbers sometimes are backwards, and i can see the headline in gmail (but i can read the mail in Hebrew)

Push these fonts to /system/fonts, reboot.

i just bought x10mini pro (my first android phone) and trying to install hebrew fonts, following the quoted procedure i get a message where it's said that no results have been found in android market for israelpack...
and i don't know how it works to push the fonts
anyone can help me please?

assuming that you already rooted your phone
1. Google for "android israel pack" , use the first link on Google: "israelpack - Project Hosting on Google Code"
2.use the direct download link
3.copy the IsraelPack_latest.apk file to your SD card.
4.use the application installer (on your phone) to install the pack.
5.on the pack download the Hebrew fonts.
6.restart the phone.
that's it...
worked on my phone, x10mini.
URGENT. Installed israelpack - everything in Chinese now
Rooted Motorola DEFY (2.1) and installed israel pack as described. Selected only the fonts option. After reboot, everything is in Chinese fonts. How do I get out of this? I tried to uninstall israelpack but the buttons have text in Chinese so I do not know what to click on.
Need help badly!

Update
Update: somehow, after rooting the phone and installing israelpack, I got some malware into the phone - everything was displayed in Chinese and ads for new cars were shown at the bottom.
In my attempts to restore defaults, I also unplugged the battery and ... the lovely English fonts came back!! And when I go to a website with Hebrew text, the text is displayed correctly.
All in order now but I wish I knew what malware was installed and how to get rid of it FOR GOOD.

i want to know how to install the software that for U.S or other counteries that have market , coz the middle east version of andriod dosn't have the market so you most reinstall the andriod but as any conutry taht support market

You need to root the phone and then use an application called Market Access to set your location to US. I don't know anything about rooting the X8 sorry.

usually in middle east there is no market application to start with.
search for a vending.apk in this forum. you will find one for x10mini. i moved it to the system/app folder and gave all permisions.
rebooted and found market.
that market shows only free stuff, need to then download market access and change the operator settings to get access to paid stuff. didnt tried it myself.
If you dont want to root
you can search for anthor x8 rom like UK (market pre-installed)
flash it with SEUS or by flash tool (.sin (files))
after installing the JPKG5 on my tablet i find out that all pages that contains flash contents are not working ! i installed flash player from the market but still .. system browser , opera , firefox ! all the same problem ! anyone got a solution for this !
i bout the galaxy particularly for the flash supporting , and i feel so disappointed.
you need to activate flash manualy
On explorer go to setting then advanced then enable plug-in to always or i prefer on demand

I have the same issue my flash does not work either. I bought it in Australia and the new Ice Cream Sandwich update was not released in Australia so I downloaded the US one and it worked but now my flash player does not work.
I have tried changing the language to english (US) and deactivated locations and all the plugin are set up. I also tried formatting it but that did nothing either.
Is there any other way for me to get my flash player working again?

1. I have update my sony xperia s, several times (repair included) and the device is keep restarting (after sony logo is displayed).
2. Sometimes the device is starting and ... when I try to use market - will not update to google play and not allow me to make downloads for new aplications or updates to preinstaled aplications (ex: flashplayer). After I try to make downloads, even if it is started already, is going to restarting problem and keeps going to restart (step 1).
So, even when I succeed to start the device trying to use market (not updated becouse it is not possible, not working) will end the session and going in "keep restarting problem".
I think it is something related to market (google play).
Can you help me, please.
If the phone keep restarting means hardware problems.

asia market vs european one
I think that my xperia s is made for asian market, becouse a guy solve the problem by instaling a version of android witch have some icons with chinese name (0;.,/) specific letters . It works perfect until new update was instaled (by me with update service). After that .... keep restarting problem again (as described).
A hardware diference is posible between asian market and european one ? ... can this be solved?
If a hardware problem then a specific software needed. Is that possible?

It often happens that few of your application do not work on certain ROMS. You can either try another version of the same application/or try to find a n alternative.
Usually the Customs Roms are reduced to minimum in order to give performance and at times, they do not support apps.
Also, if you can elaborate what exactly you mean by 'not working' and what error you get when you try to open them, I might be able to help a bit more!

I have DroidWall & I understood that some apps that work by servers & wireless networks,They have problems with Firewalls & they must disable
Maybe this post can help some users...
