You can't connect to PC via PC companion? You can't repair through PC Companion or SEUS? Is your phone bricked? Because if it is, then you basically can't install apps right? What are you gonna do to the contents of /system/app when you get them?
It's not bricked, I can use all the functions exept connecting to pc and update to 2.1. When I connect the phone to PC it not responding, nothing happens so I'll try to overwrite system apps and hope this will fix the issue. Root explorer will do the task but i need system/app content

I am having some problems/queries with my O1. If someone knows solution, please help me .
1)When i open stock music player, no files are listed there though i have several mp3's on SD card.
2)When i open video player, it shows "no video". I have several videos in bluetooth folder.
3)When i open gallery, it shows " There are no items in your collection".
4) Im using poweramp full version. It didnt detect music files automatically, the files got listed only when i specified the path folder manually. Also, when i click on "library" in poweramp, no files are shown in any of the category (All songs, Albums, Artists, Genres).
5) i have WIFI open network. when i try to connect my O1 with it, it shows "obtaining IP adress", and gets disconnected.

As your phone is just 6days old, I think you are using stock rom. the first step to solve the problem is factory reset your phone and post results.
PS: Remember to backup ur contacts/messages and anything else, coz factory reset will bring back the phone to default.

bt for backup i need to connect it via PC suite. but PC suit is not recognising the phone

Just Switch off your phone. Remove your Card. Switch on the phone without inserting Card. In switch on condition insert your card. See something is happening or not. It seem you are using froyo 2.2.2 and it has this bug.
If you are using same card which is given by LG and have not wiped it the it must contain PC suite and driver for your mobile. Just uninstall everything from your PC. restart it. Install PC suite without connecting mobile. After installation plug your mobile it should connect with PC suite. If any pop up asking you to map the drivers then go through that wizard. Now your suite must connect your phone.

companion doesn't recognize my phone anymore, so i couldnt restore it.
is there a way to restore my phonebook?

I dont think pc companion will recognize phone with cm... cm is completely new built, diferent from stock. So you will not restore phone book this way. As far as i can remember, you can open the phonebook in pc and overwrite the numbers. Next time synchronize your contacts with gmail account, its not rom dependant and it will work on any android phone...

There is option in pc campanion to sync your windows contact and google contact together.....sync it with google email address that you use in your phone and then sync phone with google:laugh:

how can i open the phonebook? when i back it up, it produces .dbk files in the companion folders.

i've looking it in companion, and i cant find the option..
im using sony ericsson experia x10.last two day my friend download root and freedom for me.after all the process i wen back and find out that my internet connection is not working.my another friend reset my handphone and memory card.then i start to register my email and open google play.its not working can u help me guyzzz.really need it

Uninstall old market.
In case You have no app to uninstall go to:
/system/app/
or /data/app/
and delete vending.apk (or phonesky.apk).
Now reboot Your phone and install new vending.apk , which can be downloaded in the Internet.
If You had any problems just contact me. I will make it more clear for You in case You wouldn't understand this.

Use PhilZ recovery to backup phone memory it as a Aroma installer option where you can browse internal card and copy and backup files.You need to install PhilZ then install the aroma option separately see here >> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2201860 << see post three about Aroma option and how to use....
As for your other problems I would probably try a factory reset in recovery after backing up your files..
i forget to mention phone is updated to 4.3 thats why coming this kind of problem...is it okay to install this aroma? no conflict?

Hello, first of all sorry for the English (google translator).
I will start from the beginning of all my problems.
My phone, Sony Xperia m4 aqua e2023, began to have problems with the original rom, so I thought of restoring it with the twrp factory, my phone was rooted and with the bootloader unlocked, without wanting to touch wipe internal storage, the phone was formatted by Complete and started. The only thing I can do is navigate the device, but with problems, because it doesn't open basic things like the File Commander, so I can't run apks or anything.
The only thing I can use and I think it's important is the sd, he reads it, because I can see the photos inside it from my gallery.
Now, what I planned to do was: from my pc download the twrp apk and pass it to the sd, then insert it to my phone and install it, thus allowing me to reformat the phone with a working rom. But there my problem, I have no way to install the apk, because I can not find a way to run it without a file browser, since the phone itself does not have ...
I thought things like: an sd that when you insert it to my phone will auto-install an apk, like a virus, but I don't know if it could ...
Then also try that way to view the files from google but guess that ... does not open google ...
