if i'm out of Wifi and trying via 3G all i see is endless loading and network error.
i tried automatically settings my mobile networks : Settings > Mobile networks > Auto Internet settings

Are you with Rogers? If so, go to the "GoRogers" APN and change the APN URL to "internet.com".
That'll fix it.
thx for fast reply but i found the issue related here:

[Q] Enable Always-On mobile-data

Hi,
I'm a new Android-User and a new Forum-User. I got a x10 mini pro this week. I'm wondering why my device must be always connected? It has to update my mail-accounts always one time per hour. On other systems this is normal: The internet connection is established when used.
I found this out by google search: There should be this setting: Settings > Wireless & networks > Mobile networks > Enable always-on mobile data. That is just what I'm looking for. But on my device there isn't such an option.
It's a x10 mini pro from sony ericsson. Newest SE-Firmware-Version (2.0.2.A.0.24 Android 2.1) Why do I don't have this option? Is where another solution for this problem? I don't like to switch data-connection off an on by myself. The device is rooted. Any suggestions for an app that can do that? I've tried JuiceDefender but it doesn't actually do what I want.
thanks for your help.
Always On Data
Huh?
But the applications let you tell it how often to check for updates? There were a few the last time I checked.

Hi, i believe that you refer to "data traffic" option. "data traffic" option enables/disables your phone data traffic, that is, enables/disables you mobile internet.
You can find this option in:
Settings > Wireless & networks > Mobile networks > Data Traffic
When you disable (uncheck) "Data traffic" you wont be able to use at all mobile internet untill you enable it again.
To help you with fast enable/disable data traffic there is also a stocked widget that allows you to turn on/off data traffic, its called "Data Traffic". To put it on one of home screens, long press on one of the home screens, then meny will pop with bunch of options, select: Widgets > Data traffic. And wola!! You have it on home screen.
That way you dont need to go trough all the longer process on entering settings menu.
Anyway, i dunno why you wanna disable it, it eats very little of internet, and i find it useful bunch of times.
Good morning Thanks for your replies.

I run only few applications like k9 mail. They can do that.

No I don't refer to that option. This widget is already on my screen. But with this I have to enable and disable it manually.
On the big X10 should be the always on option. You can check out this link: <can't post this link, cause' I'm a new user >
I wonder if I can manage to set this in the system files without being able to tick this in the settings.

Xperia P LT22i internet problem

Hello, i've recently bought Xperia P and already liked the phone but there's one big problem
with internet on it - when i try to use internet shared from my primary phone - Nokia E72 - by JoikuSpot Premium
- Xperia doesn't see the network.
I did a little search and found an app called Wi-Fi Manager. Success! It sees the network.
But wait, another problem! When i try to connect - it displays a message that
a standard Android doesn't support IBSS type networks (Ad hoc).
What can i do? I don't have any other way to share Nokia's internet,
and don't want to get the SIM card out, put it in Xperia, than again put it out,
mount it in that frame (different SIMcard sizes) and i need to have the Nokia on and be able to answer calls and write messages
on it. Be available all the time.
I have rooted the Xperia, soft is original, debranded (4.1.2 LT22i 6.2.A.1.100 Central Europe),
installed by myself with Flashtool.
How can i modify it to be able to connect to my shared "IBSS" network ?
Please help

Change it to a different network via the Nokia, just set security for WPA2 under a password.
That or you'll have to add the network manually and then set it for AutoConnect once it does connect, do both that manually and it should be fine.
Same goes for any phone....

LG G5 H820 AT&T Tethering & Hotspots Enabled But Not Working

Hi guys, i have a Unlocked AT&T LG G5 H820 (Android 7.0 Software H82020n) and using it on the Three Network here in the U.K
Tethering & Hotspots wasn't initially selectable so i Googled it and found the solution:
Download 'Settings database editor' from play store, after installing you will see option system, Then go to: Tether_entitlement_check_state Click over it then Change the value to 0.
Now when i Tether, it is selectable, but nothing seems to happen & has no network connection. Hotspot is the same, i can create a Hotspot, but if other devices try connecting , it connects, but no internet connection.
Can anyone help?
Thanks
I also have a lg g5 att and u know what bro, u and me and all the other people who are using it outside america are screwed
So true bro!
I have downloaded an app called Tether Clockwork mod, which seems do do the job for £4, but laptop/computer also needs the program installed to work.
Bit more messing about, but it does the job

What do you mean? I didn't test the tethering and hotspot... But I had an issue that I didn't have 4G, couldn't access the internet just with the SIM card. But now it's solved... Forgot to configure the APN (Access Point Names). And when I bought the phone I was concerned that couldn't be used properly(4G) outside America.

Hello friend,
What u mean? How do u did these steps. Is it possible?? Please could u explain?
Go to the playstore & download "Clockwork Mod Tether" Tether works fine with this App
locked wi-fi teather by Provider
There wi-fi tether internet access is locked by mostly cellular-providers.
I add the APN on my LG G5 - take it from your cellular provider.
I dounload the 'Settings database editor' from play store, Then go to: Tether_entitlement_check_state Click over it then Changed the value to 0 to unlock the wi-fi tether.
I have wi-fi tether ON, then connected other device, and there NO internet on other connected device due the locked wi-fi tether internet access. Call your cellular provider and ask them is it locked or unlocked wi-fi tether internet access. If it locked ask them how to unlock - mostly it cost some money.
You can check the wi-fi tether working or not from another sim-card that you sure 100% works.
I had the same problem, and I founded the solution:
Go to Play Store, and download an app called "Settings Database Editor"
Once u downloaded it, search Tether_entitlement_check_state
Change the value to "-1"
Done, no need for reboot
sorry for my bad english, hope I could help u
