I think you are right.. notice the curved notification bar.. and MT4G doesn't say have a 3G notifier, it is an H.... i want...
i deodexed both system/app and system/framework and cant get quad over 1981 (average about 1800-1900)...any advice?
maybe because i couldnt get a few files in system/app and system/framework to deodex
With the Deodexed files can you push Rosie.apk from the Desire Build. I tried doing that and it would not take, i was thinking maybe be because they were deodexed. Thanks.
on a side not, are you getting an fc on com.htc.sdm
after i deodexed i am though there seems to be no apparent problem except the message on boot.
I get high 1900's with no deodexing. Highest was 1991. Maybe this isn't making as big of a difference as everyone thinks? I don't know. Im running autokiller at ultimate and ocing at 1024 max and 1024 min with performance governor.

The advantage is being able to theme, I heard someone is working on a fully deodexed rooted stock rom. Themes will come shortly after, think im gonna attempt a lockscreen theme. Also, I can't confirm this just yet but my battery life seems noticeably better so far...

I always theme on my own. So I've got a modded vanilla lockscreen, transparent status bar etc. So I guess for me its irrelavant? I'll have to do some googlin tomorrow ;-)

The auto deodexer? Thats what I used, but sense roms need a custom boot class path to deodex certain files. So its not just a fully automated operation. I got lucky with a few files, using the already deodexed .jar's to define the boot class path. Anyone have any more insight, feel free to add info. This is my first time deodex'n.

Ok, so after going through a bunch of crap to get this to work, I finally did. I made it into an update.zip so Metamorph is no longer needed.
This includes the apps that come with Fission 2.4.3 normally. I'm sure I'm missing some Gingerbread stuff, and if I am let me know and I can try to get it in. I've included both with and without the new transition animation versions. It also includes Launcher2 built from the SDK with 3D app drawer and 5 home screens, and it's pretty damn smooth.
So, again, this is beta, but should be working fine. Just remember to make a backup as you would with anything else. It also includes the Apex ROM window transitions found here http://www.droidforums.net/forum/dr...-window-animations-stock-rom.html#post1058483
1/8 Updated to 2.5.7 and should have fixed the white status bar

With and Without transition animations is in FRM right now and should be fully functioning. Angdroid took care of the buttons being white on white so they should be good to go.

Beta just means I haven't been able to test every single thing on every single phone with every single configuration. So, if you run in to problems just let me know and not write it off.
And yes, I am going to be making a non Apex transition one, hopefully will be up later.
Ok well as soon as you get the non apex up ill download. Do you have a timeframe for the non apex ? And let you know about any bugs I stumble upon.
I've uploaded it, give me a few minutes to test and ensure that it's all working correctly.

Mine just has the green stuff in the top status bar and animations....Not all the nice other green text and different launcher...
Right, this is just the framework like I was saying. I plan on theming the rest of the apps, and there is 3 free Gingerbread SDK launchers in the market. Plus I figured everyone used ADW or LPPro anyway. But I will be updating this with more apps and can include the launcher as well.

That plus different unlock/silent slider icons too. The gingerbread blue sliders don't go too well with this awesome theme...

Okay, I figured out how to change the little 3g/4g/H+ icons however I am having a hard time finding matching 4G icons, if someone can find the 4g ones that match the 3g ones I can do it. The sliders are easy too.
Just have to find the matching framework/systemui apk's that contain the images.
Edit: I found icons that match however they are too small. :-( The ones I have are 25x25 (MDPI) and they need to be 38x38 (HDPI)
Finally figured it out!
Found the right images and got rid of the 3g/4g/h icons included in the systemui.apk
To install copy the new systemui.apk to /system/app and overwrite the old one using Root Explorer or any other file manager.
Restart because you'll probably get a force close for the systemui.apk
When it boots back up set the permissions on systemui.apk to RW-R-R then reboot a second time and voila it will work!
Here are 3 screenshots that prove it!
I am not responsible if you **** your **** up and obviously credit goes to the OP for whipping up this amazing theme.

If NottachTrix's ROM v1.3.1 is deodexed, why - when I flash this, does device cycle into a reboot loop immediately after showing "preparing SD card".
UPDATE: I tried several more times...only to end up re-flashing 1.3.1 (full-wipe).

I hated the way the photon looked (as far as the theme went) out of the box so I've spent a little bit of time getting things the way that I like it. I didn't create anything but borrowed bits and pieces from :
Simplicity
- Most of what I have is from her. She also helped me finally get the SystemUI.apk to decompile properly.
Cloudy
-I ran this all the time on the Nexus with the T-mobile theme manager and I missed it so much!
And of course the base is Alien theme so there are several elements from that as well.
I had considered adding a customer font and animations but people will have their own preferences so upon request I'll post zips for each of these.

You SHOULD (please read this as I haven't tested it so make a backup) be able to flash through bootstrap recovery as long as your ROM is de-odexed

Welcome to android! You started out with an awesome phone.
I believe that you can flash this p-rom (p stands for pseudo) found here. It is de-odexed so you should then be able to flash the theme afterwards. I have not done this myself so please make sure you know how to restore your phone if things get borked.

I flashed this and I got force closes about phone. It deleted the phone app from my phone and I couldn't use internet or anything. And to nandroid back.

There must be corrupt files or unfinished XML edits. Try to reflash, but remove everything in the zip that's under system>app EXCEPT Systemui.apk.
I've got Black Menus on this framework-res. I need more time before I can look at the XMLs. Just replace the original framework-res in your zip with this one.

It's looking pretty awesome. I too tried to flash this and some slight issues. But it's good to see that a red theme is but a few tweaks away from becoming a reality. If you need a tester...hit me up...I'm down for trying out anything.

Weird, it must be overwritten by another framework file like moto-res or blur-res. I haven't dev'd for a Moto device before.

Not To My Knowledge And I've Been Running It All Day.
New roms say works with 3.8v batteries...does that mean they get/register full charge?

Does this new 3.11.605.1 ROM have the touchscreen bug? Or rather, does the newer kernel (if that PH98IMG is the kernel that came with this)?
That was/is the only thing which has held me from ICS.
Where I fling the screen to the left, and I wind up two screens to the right instead.
I couldn't handle that!

No The New boot.img Was Causing Reboots Without The Much Needed Firmware Update.

Sweet Jesus That Would Be Nice! Before The Weekend I Hooked Up With A Guy/Girl Who Gave Me This Leak And Did Mention Something About Sense 4.0 I'm Still Waiting To Hear Back About It. I Would Love To Get That Leak Like Nobody's Business.
Nice work here outkast! You should get rid of that annoying location icon. Also, do you care to go into limited detail as to what your init.d scripts do or how they help? I just got on the stock rooted version of this from scrosler, but I will try this soon... And you should mention if you included the BT fix in the first post. Just a few suggestions, thanks in advance!

It's Possible I'll Be Making A Different ROM, I Still Wanna Talk To My Themer And See What He's Got Going For Free Time.
I Wasn't Aware That Bluetooth Wasn't Working With This ROM; I Don't Use A Bluetooth Device. Sorry.
I'll Post The Script Details In The OP For You.
I'm sure that BT stream didn't work in the initial leak fixed by scrosler. It synced but I got no sound. The BT fix by Joel worked just as good as it did on the old leak, so you should include it in your next release.
EDIT: Thanks for posting scripts!!! It's fun for a techie like me to read and know what it is doing to the ROM.
