I present to you my personal blended/kanged/port of Black n Bold by theBowers at DroidForums.net mixed with my personal style and now called BlackFroyo. This is not a ROM, it's a flashable theme. I am using it on Obsidian v5 Beta (confirmed working on other froyo roms listed below install instructions).

HERE. Try this theme at your own risk on this and/or any other ROM.
Install Instructions:
Make a nandroid backup - it's always better to be safe than sorry.
I have based this theme off of Obsidian v4.2/v5 Beta and Auxura 2.05 frameworks and .jar files. I take no credit for anything ROM related. All credit is due to the Devs listed below. As mentioned before, this is just a theme, not a ROM. If any of you are brave enough to try on other roms that is your choice. I am in no way responsible for you breaking your phones.
To install this theme just download the .zip file and flash it through clockwork recovery.
I am currently running Eugene373's CM6.1 Beta Kang Rom and using my ported BlackFroyoCM version.

Known Issues:
Call settings/all calls/call status tones cause force close - turn off this feature.
Outgoing call vibration works. If it doesn't it could be your rom, it's not the theme.

Uploaded ported version made for Eugene's CM6.1 Beta Kang as that is the current rom that my Vibrant is rocking
If you have issues with googlevoice.apk or deskclock.apk delete the preinstalled ones that came with the rom and extract my versions from the zip and throw them in your system/app folder and reboot

Added METAMORPH option to have the same notification pulldown bar as pictured above except with the original transparent pulldown.
Download morph zip file to sd and install via METAMORPH.
Make sure your USB debugging is enabled otherwise it will sit there forever doing nothing and waste your time.
METAMORPH theme includes .png edits only for transparent pulldown, it will need to be flashed after you have applied the main theme zip.
Also added METAMORPH option to go back to stock animations
Stock animations METAMORPH theme includes animations only, you will need to flash it after you've applied the main theme.

im going to be brave/reckless and try this on auxura 2.04... report back, but i anticipate problems...
EDIT: actually worked, hung on first boot but battery pull reset worked, now works flawlessly. i like the look, good work OP. might leave this on for a bit just to test more. nice to see themes for froyo roms out and that devs aren't making their builds needlessly incompatible.

I didn't take anything from your mods. I clearly state that i've ported this from the Obsidian v4.2 rom, the Black N Bold theme and some xml edits from freekyfroggy. If any of their frameworks included your work than that's where it came from.
Don't take it personal. I'm just trying to share since there are a lot of users here that don't have the time or know how to create/port/kang themes. If you feel like I was disrespecting you that is not my intentions. You should PM me if you have issues. Android is "open source", that's why I love it so much. I believe you and I have a mutual goal so to speak, which is to help other Android/Vibrant lovers maximize their user experience. I respect themers like you, i'm not trying to gain anything from this thread, only to share and collect/collaborate ideas to better our daily use with this phone.

I too took the plunge running Axura 2.0.3 and this is sweet! The only bummer is that Axura already had sweet transitions but were changed with this theme. Any way to get it without the transitions? Just install each .apk seperate? Very, very nice work. Super sexy.

This is an espresso nightly 124 with google apps installed and working a2ext already added and working completely. Dalvik-cache is not moved automatically and therefore some steps must be taken:
Open up a terminal
su
cd /system/bin/
sh a2sd cachesd
phone will reboot
The reboot will take up to and more then 5 minutes this is expected so do not be alarmed if this takes a long time!!
A little bit about this theme: It will not look exactly like the original because well a few of the originals images were no longer in the original rom so a couple things are different:
1. The dialer isnt as themed (the buttons)
2. The power control widget is slightly different
3. The lockscreen is clear(this means that i have made all of the buttons clear so you actually need to know where they are originally to be able to use them)
4. To get all of your apps to have the custom icons you need to download and app called bettercut or one similar and download the icon pack free in the market(don't whine you have a2ext so memory isn't an issue)

ADWLauncher edits: to keep the dock background looking even you need to keep the AB scale factor at 5 or lower otherwise the secondary action buttons will be too big and mess things up

*have an overclock update.zip to make this thing really fly[edited to not break wifi, max on this is 930 but that is an error as the phone doesnt support 930 but 940[now i know not everyones phone will clock that high so i have edited the rom to boot up at 600mhz and you can clock up to wherever you want[DO NOT check the start on boot with setcpu just incase you clock it too high otherwise you will have a bootloop]]]
*dalvik-cache is not automatically moved but is simple enough if you have ever ran a rom i added a2ext to [terminal or adb]>adb shell[terminal=su]>cd /system/bin/[terminal=same]>sh a2sd cachesd[terminal=same]>phone reboots may take a while to boot properly but all is well
*think that is all for now>may look into keyboard light issue but as someone more experienced then me failed dont hold your breath
*Rom is fast as crap even when only overclocked to 800's [everything loads instantly no lag great great great which is why i chose this over the other sense roms]

Yeah I get what you mean, I was thinking of porting Flavored Ice but it was pretty similar to Prodigal Sun in the sense that it's just different color versions of the same theme, so I didn't. Not to mention resizing from hdpi to mdpi.

lol i thought about porting that one as well but decided not to! i rmr using a couple back in the day that i will try and port. gaia is one and luminescence is another as for anything else i will wait on request til then i will finish prodigal sun porting i seemed to have gotten behind lol

lol if they did then my g1 would have burnt up a long time ago! i used to flash a new rom everyday! when i got the slide i had withdrawals for a while lol

Here's what I did: downloaded android mate, give it superuser access, rename your old mms.apk to mms.bak(to back it up), copy downloaded apk. (all in /system/app)
It's instant. No need for restart.

I was thinking to myself that I got a Super AMOLED screen phone and all the menus and icons were in black / greyscale which makes the biggest asset of the phone a sideline...

This update is just one that optimizes the theme since there are a couple who messaged me asking to use it in their roms so i went to clean it up a bit. I removed hundreds of unused PNG files from the various apks in the theme. I was able to cut the total file size down from 11Mb to around 6Mb.
The phone seems to run a bit smoother now, But I am not sure if it's just my mind tricking me haha. In any case, you guys should flash this one to clean up the system.

hey, thanks! you know it just came to me as well that I have not deodexed my system since updating to 1.83- possible cause too? perhaps I'll do that now.
Should work fine, there is a service.jar in there, check my screen shot, works fine. Of course need to be deodex hehe

Do you mean the icons for each of those apps? It wouldnt be hard-persey but it would take a lot of time as you have to go one by one and replace image files for each of those apps. So you get the gingerbread style ones, then just overwrite the current ones with them. This doesnt require any compiling so it is easier. Just open the apk (dont extract it), navigate to the drawable's folder where the icon belongs and just copy the gingerbread one in and replace the old one. You also have to add in those newly modded apps into the theme package under systems folder. It sounds more complicated then it is, trust me hehe, just takes time.

Yeah I can try this for you. I am currently trying some mods/edits and am asking around for advice. I'll work on greyblur soon though after i figure my issues out.

I re-read your comment, i think read it wrong at the beginning. When the battery is discharging, meaning it is not plugged in, it is proportional. check out the attached image. the battery icons are adapted by fellow xda-user TrungT. I made it transparent to fit the theme.

I tried to install this version "V1 - based on deodex gingerblur 2.5 (1.57 att)" over Greyblur and it works!
Eclipse Vegas Gold Theme
Vegas Gold theme for Eclipse. Sorry, not a gambling theme. Vegas Gold is just the name of the color I've chosen to accent Eclipse 1.2 with. I really like Eclipse 1.2 just the way it is. I think the blue color used in 1.2 is much imporoved from previous versions of Eclipse. I did however have an idea back when I was on 1.0 to replace all the cyan with Vegas gold. So I decided to try to make a theme. This is a work in progress. Thank you.

I haven't flashed the UOT file yet, so I should flash this, then UOT, right? Also, if I flash the custom toggle mod you whipped up for me, will they be cyan or gold?

You should flash this theme first then use the files from it in UOT. But if you want those toggle mods from the other thread they will end up being cyan. Let me know which of the mods you are using. I'll put the gold colors in it.

Good point. I'll add some instructions to the original post. Yes just flash it in the bootstrap recovery. Wiping should not be necessary. I did however wipe dalvik cache when testing (may have been just me flashing the wrong test version though). If we find that wiping anything is needed I can add the wipe to the install zip.
Looks great brudda! Red or a blue & grey theme would also be great if u ever take any more flavor suggestions. Keep up the good work

I flashed before you answered (couldn't wait lol) and was pleasantly surprised to see it did have it. It looks awesome and the toggles work fantastically! The only "issue" I've encountered is the only thing that worked from my UOT file was my custom battery icon, even though I used the framework and systemUI files from your theme...
