ROM posted for personal use with no guarantees given and please, please ensure you know what you're doing when you flash this ROM. If you are new to ROM flashing please read the appropriate sections of this forum and absolutely make sure you have used hardSPL - latest version here - to unlock the phone.
Whilst I appreciate comments and suggestions, especially from those that have actually flashed, tested and used this ROM, any such suggestions, pleas, requests or general laments about "why oh why don't you include such and such a package or upgrade to x.y.z.1.2" will generally be ignored unless accompanied by copious amounts of hard cash payments to the usual Swiss bank account, failing that hit the 'Donate' button below
Peace

Nice to see you back cooking chris5s, but why not build with newer manila and wm?

I flashed this rom and got a problem getting data connection to connect. Your right this a good and stable version. thanks for rom
Edited: Working ok now

23569 is a great build with excellent stability, native threaded e-mail, good balance. I'm afraid I'm not going to be constantly updating this ROM unless there is very good reason. Taking a package from version 4.5.6.7.8.8 to version 4.5.6.7.8.9 is not necessary unless there is greatly improved and added functionality. New isn't always better. And 23569 works out of the box so that's good for me - no dialer issues, incoming caller display, bold fonts, etc.
Thanks for the comments guys, keep 'em coming!
Peace

yeah, but 23569 build is not that battery friendly like latest ones, and our battery on Topaz is not as high capesity as it should be

Coming soon ... Sense 2.5 with Documents tab ... as soon as my bandwidth allows

Download link changed. The rom now has the documents tab from Leo roms added.
Couple of file system tweaks added too. Running very fast and stable.

Thx
Downloading for installation.

Having problems with this ROM
First of all I'd like to thank you for this ROM. I've been using Energie ROMs for quite some time, but I wanted to have a look at some other ROMs.
After flashing this ROM, I keep getting Manila crashes. It seems Manila is causing this problem as I freezes (but I'm still able to use the phone (start menu and other programs will just run fine).
Could anyone else tell me if they're experiencing the same problem?
PS:
- I've flashed and reset the ROm several times, but I keep getting these freezes.
- Bluetooth doenst work via manila settings > connection manager. (Changing BluetoothPlatformType to 0 fixes this! > thx to Aman)
Any help would be much appreciated. Thx in advance for your help.
Kind regards
Silvio

Thanks for the info 007sly007. I will correct the bluetooth problem in the next update, whatever that is ha ha
As for Manila problems, mine is running smooth and I don't have any freezing issues. Have you added any extra apps to the rom after flashing? Try disabling some of the pages (tabs) and see if this helps - first one I would try is the documents tab, then go from there.
Peace, and thanks for the input.

Few days ago, I flashed your ROM. By now, it looks and works great. No freezes, no deadlocks, no redundant stuff. Something strange only happens with calendar appointments. They do not show up in the calendar at all. On the home screen and lock screen, everything is ok. I suppose it is not related with the ROM itself because another guy reported a similar problem with the build 218xx.
The problem with calendar appointments is somewhere in Manila because, in the Windows default view, everything is shown as it should. Except the lock screen – the calendar icon is displayed under the current time and date even if there are no appointments upcoming.
- - - - - -
The cause found: In no way, it was related with the ROM. Actually, this was caused due to the date format that I had changed in the registry using a different format (I changed the yy.mm.dd. order). Manila is not able to recognize dates correctly when their format differs from the preset ones (it just takes that values in that way (in my case): the first part is a year, the second part is a month and a third part is a day) while Windows default handles it with no issues. Once I changed the date format back to that one available in regional settings, my appointments and all day events are displayed again (even using yyyy instead of yy). Now, the only major problem I can see is the orphaned calendar icon on the lock screen. But I hope to be able to find a solution by myself.
Thanks for the ROM.
I would really not to reflash this ROM with another one unless there is a very good and certain reason.

Added on 07.01.2011: There are more issues with the clock and alarms when traveling through several timezones.
I had to switch off the automatic adjustment of the clock. Otherwise, the clock started to add 1 hour from time to time.
When I had alarms switched on when entering another timezone I had to switch off all the alarms before manually changing the timezone. Otherwise, there are backups created somewhere in Windows system (not in the registry, I believe) and all of them are activated twice: when their time has come in the previous timezone and also when in the current timezone. For example, I had an alarm in Bangkok to wake me up at 6 AM. Once I moved to Singapore (-1 hour) and changed the timezone on the phone I got an alarm ringing at 5 AM (= 6 AM in Bangkok) and then at 6 AM (as it was actually set).
Such behavior with alarms only disappeared when I first switched all my alarms off, then changed the timezone (in such case, Windows usually asks whether you want to adjust your appointments to the new timezone) and then switched on all the necessary alarms again.

Tips/Updates (by ltxda):
- Save As enhancement. Go to Settings, System, select File Dialog Changer and check "Exchange Standard File Dialog". This changes out the standard Save As window and provides an enhancement where you can choose any folder/subfolder on your device and navigate the structure when trying to save files from any source.
- WkTask enable: it is disabled by default and must be enabled from the start menu and set to start on startup(if prefered). It will place the battery bar on top like in previous bars if the setting is selected. The version is not the latest because the latest causes issues.
- wkTask: Two nice features...of course they are in the manual...to get back to Today screen from any program....click-hold the area where the X typically is and drag left. This takes you right back to the Today screen. To minimize the current app, click-hold the X area and drag down. Very useful little program that has replaced Magic Button for me. Also allows per app control. Thanks Hirad for the recommendation! Also, This resides in the area where the X typically sits to close programs, etc. Start wkTask from Programs, click and hold the "X" area and go into preferences for wkTask. Make sure it's set to autostart by going to Startup tab and clicking the corresponding button. This is a great task manager.
- FingerTouch Keyboard: By default the option is not set to to layout 1. This can be changed via the options or via the bottom left corner button.
- Today Screen: All/default plugs have been deactivated except for htc home. Just go to Settings, Personal, Today and go to the Items tab to reactivate what you want.
- Reminders: I'm annoyed by the constant reminder notifications after the initial notice. To disable this annoyance go to Settings, Personal, Sounds & Notifications, Notifications tab, select Reminders from the drop down and uncheck "Repeat". Not sure if this bothers anyone else but it really annoyed me and I've seen a couple of posts asking how to disable this.
- Vijay555's VJCandela aka Flashlight: It's been reported on other threads that prolonged activation of the flash light LED may cause it to burn out so use at your own risk. I have used it without problems. Comes in very handy. Also great for blinding your enemies before an attack! ;-p
- HTC Home customizer: the version on the forums will mess up the htc home plugin because of the new larger vga images. the addon cabs have the older version that also worked in all dpis.
- TCPMP: starts in portrait and is used in portrait but after closing with X will make the phone go back to landscape.
- Config App: A new config app can now be found in settings under system. This app is made thanx to cmonex and will allow u to do many things. If u any have suggestions including what to add please pm me.
- Touchflo: Touchflo has the scroll sounds enabled by default. this can be disabled via the system tab in settings. settings for touchflo are also found in the new config app.
- VueFlo: the sensitivity for changing orientation can be adjusted in the system tab of settings. orientation changing can be turned on and off via the config app.
- SRS Wow HD: it can be found in the system tab in settings. use this to get surround sound and to improve sound. it is mostly used for the speakers or a headset.
- Large Start Menu: i have moved the settings for the large start menu from personal to system tab in settings. u can enable or disable the large start menu from in there.
- USB to PC: a new usb to pc tool is included. it allows mass storage now and is found under the connections tab in settings.
- Opera browser: easy configuration can be done by typing opera:config into the adress bar. it already has been modded though to allow up to 50 tabs and to have a ie7 user id. a cab in program files/system will make opera have a x7510 user id again.
- Customizations: only sdautorun.exe is ran and if finds the sdconfig.txt on ur sd will execute ur settings and reset. if not will end the customizations and allow you to use the phone. the phone might need to be turned back on.
- skype, weatherpanel, igo, video playback: turn off htc home and if needed install the one in the addons. it has been found htc home causes issues with these because of it being vga size and a resource hog.
- missing icons and same welcomehead in all dpis: these are caused by realvga. tobias needs to update his realvga to fix these issues cause by the new aku1.
- vga album: it can hang sometimes. this could be also associated with htc home. if it does hang just do a soft reset. this is do to the app being vga. newer versions in the future will fix the loading issues.
- enlarge menus: the setting to turn off the enlarged menus is found in the config app. there also is a advanced button to adjust how big u want the menus. if u really want a finger friendly menu, try 1600 but dont go above it.
- apptodate: this is a interesting app we included that will once ran check for new version of the rom and config app.
- wmp in 96dpi portrait: there is a issue with it starting. the work around is to run wmp in any other mode and go to the skin selection and select the proper skin in there then coming back to this mode.(tested by going to 192 dpi and selecting the 192 dpi skin)

Please Note: This is a new aku first so like any other new version of windows mobile, some things might not work for now. Also there is some unreleased and beta stuff in the rom so somethings take a bit longer to load. Also please read the tips/updates section before downloading as it will save from people asking questions answered in there!!

hahah.. yea thins kind of bull always occurs.. but hey if your patient enough you will finally get what you waited for right??
long thirsty
thanks for coming
yes, it is great that AP4 is coming soon; but if you need to post about pressing F5 or thanking the team, why not post in one of the other threads discussing the same topic.
And when it is released, please try to refrain from posting things like Downloading now or thanks for the great Rom.
If you really want to thank Pawel, ltxda, Boinger66, Olipro and Cmonex, why not click on one of their signatures and donate to the project or them individually.
If you must post about "great rom thanks", "downloading now"
"getting another beer","American Beer is mostly water", Euro Beer tastes like the crap at the bottom of the keg",etc; please post those in the other bull **** threads..
AND if you like the Rom DONATE a few bucks to the AP Team!
Ok, Chris...you can delete this and the other crap posts in this thread!
Thanks for all the hard work AP Team. Hitting F5 and charging my X7501.
waiting as well
bugs
hey guys does anyone know if the bugs for th 66% battery been fixed? what about the other bugs that the bets testers submitted? whats still buggy in the ap4 so far?
cant wait to flash it soon.. major reason for ap4 is the battery percentage driver and the orientation that switches automatically..

This is an HTC Raphael ROM, based on Windows Mobile 6.5. The current build number and date can be seen in the title of this thread.
I always build my ROMs with three main goals.
Eye candy.
Speed!
Smoothness, consistency and good esthetics.
I preconfigure a lot of things in my ROM, because when I flash it on my phone, I want it ready to go, how I'd want it. So, expect the backlight to be set at the maximum brightness, the ringtone, sms/email and other notifications to already be set.
You will find a new ROM posted here every few days, as I always update them with the latest "ingredients" that come down the pipe, from either Microsoft or HTC. Because of that, I recommend learning to backup your settings with either Sashimi or UC (User Customization).
If you own a Touch PRO, use the "Keyboard Selector" application under Utilities > Tweaks (after you flash the ROM) to select the "Pro" keyboard layout. The ROM comes with the Fuze layout enabled by default.
I usually make 4 versions of the ROM. If you don't see one in the download directory, it either means I haven't uploaded it OR I'm not making one for the current release yet.
Here are the different versions and what they mean.
"Standard" includes the new TF3D2 (Rhodium Manila) along with the standard Windows Mobile 6.5 today plugin(Titanium)
"Standard_RD" includes the older "stock dialer"
"Titanium" only includes the Titanium today plugin. No Manila in this version.
"OldManila" includes the older TF3D Manila (as seen on a stock ROM), plus Titanium.

Standard_RD

This build currently uses the RILPHONE.DLL from the latest ATT 5.11 release, along with all the 5.11 version drivers. I recommend using 1.14.25.05 for a radio, for best performance with this ROM.

"A general rule if you don't see your unique problem mentioned anywhere in this thread, chances are you're the only one with the problem and YOU did something to cause it.
The random hard reset problems have been around for a while. I've never experienced them myself, but I bet it has something to do corrupted blocks in your internal flash chip. I recommend searching the forum for raphdiag.nbh and using it to format your flash storage.. then install the ROM again"
- NRGZ28
======================================
"Please remember that there are a lot of variables here and the ROM is just one of them. You may have any number of the following issues:
1) a bad flash
2) an incompatibility issue
3) a settings problem
4) a large RF source in your pants
If several people all determine that they have done XYZ and have problem ABC it may be that NGR can do something about it. Until such time, you have some troubleshooting to do. Namely;
1) Flash the stock ROM and spend a few days noting the behavior as you add your software
2) Flash an NRG ROM and use it a few days without adding software
3) start adding software until the problem occurs."

BATTERY SAVING TIPS
• There is nothing special about this ROM to make it use more power than other ROMs except that it is tweaked for performance over battery life.
• Make sure you follow all of the flashing instructions to the letter. Especially the part about the hard reset.
• Backlight is set to high. You might want to change that.
• 3G is on by default. Recommendation is to turn it off when you are not surfing the internet.
• If your radio does not match your rilphone.dll you can get crazy bad battery drainage. Make sure they match. There is a separate thread for that.
• Check to see that some application is not still running in the background. Check, do not assume. USe the full Task Manager application.
• Check to see if the screen is still on when you expect it to be off. Soft reset can fix that issue.
• Some radios work better with some carriers and locations. Asking everyone to tell you what radio to use may not give you the best answer. Be specific about your situation.
• The battery meter will not settle down and give accurate readings for a few battery cycles. Give it a while.
• For the first few battery charging cycles, try to charge to 100% with phone off and then allow battery to drain down quite a bit before recharging. Thisis so the meter will calulate drain well.
• Don't drain your batery all the way down until it dies. Not good for these types of batteries.
• The GPS sucks the battery dry. If you want to keep track of yourself, consider something like GPSToday that only wakes up the GPS once in a while.
• Maybe you don't really need aGPS enabled. Disable and check GPS lock times and battery drain.
• Applications that run from the storage card consume more power so install oft-used or background-type applications to main memory.

TIPS AND TRICKS
You can change how many items are displayed in the menus. Go to hklm\software\htc\htcmenus and change the number of items in landscape or portrait and reboot.
You have to use showaco's chome editor to edit the softkeys in titanium. The included SoftKey Manager only works with TF3D. - kwill
Need a slightly larger clickable area in the upper-right corner? nrgz28 says:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Shell\TaskBar]
"LimitedClock"=dword:0
"ConsistentClockOrBattery"=dword:0
one these flipped to 1 will make the area more clickable
Does your phone's clock jump one (1) hour off when you sync (ActiveSync or Mobile Device Center) with your PC? Maybe you need to install a Daylight Saving Time patch from Microsoft found HERE.
Showaco AllTabs_BGv2.2.cab does not play nice with the new (>=20090709) Home screen.
TIPS AND TWEAKS/FAQS FROM PREVIOUS THREAD HERE
whoo hoo let the masses start flashing now. thanks NRG.
Yay!
Hooray for NRG!!
Of course, downloading right now ^^
thanks. I've been waiting for this for a while. Downloading and will flash.
you changed from "Phoenix" to "Magic"....why?
Can't thank you enought NRG... downloading now so my grubby little stylus can cut loose
Looks great so far, thanks NRG. I guess the phoenix is gone because GM killed pontiac, and I think NRGZ28 is a f-body man. Your rom is amazing thanks again.
Gotta try some Majic cause it sure isn't happening with my crappy rom
Cool! I remember NRG teased us with a few screenshots of TouchFLO 3D 2.5 on 18th June in the 06/13 build thread. I hope there are some goodies in this ROM from those screenshots. Thanks for your work, NRG.
Update: From the screenshots posted on the first page, it seems that TouchFLO 3D 2.5 is not ported this time around. Great ROM nonetheless!
Need help!
I'm itching to flash, but I don't want to re-do all of my SPB stuff from scratch. Can someone please provide me with some insight on how to back up all of my settings and layouts for mobile shell? I plan on using Sashimi for my cabs, is there a way to save a file for my SPB stuff??

T [WWE|GER|FRA|ITA|NLD] |July 4| Energy™-.¸¸.·´¯ 6.5|21916 / 6.5.X|29022 * Sense 2021

Welcome to the "EnergyROM" thread !
This development thread is for my "Energy" custom firmware series for the HTC Diamond2 (Topaz) device.
The current build numbers and date can be seen in the title of this thread. I usually update the ROMs about twice a week, as new builds come down the pipe or as new software/updates are available.
I build my ROMs with four main goals.
Eye candy ( I want my ROM to look great and for it to all flow together nicely)
Speed !!!
Smoothness, consistency and good aesthetics
Stability through private beta testing before public release
I pre-configure a lot of things in my ROM, because when I flash it on my phone, I want it ready to go. So, expect the backlight to be set at the maximum brightness, the ringtone, sms/email and other notifications to already be set. Doing it this way, makes for a nice ROM that's ready out of the box.
I recommend learning to backup your settings with either Sashimi or UC (User Customization). Backing up with SPB Backup or similar products, is NOT recommended, as they tend to backup the previous release's registry/file bugs as well!
Looking at the download folder you will find two core versions of my ROM.
A 21916 Build which is the most reliable and bug free release. It has the Start menu button at the top left corner. This build uses the same stock system that came with your device. This is usually the fastest and most stable build, but it's also the least fancy

A 29022 Build that's the latest in Microsoft's development with the Start menu button at the bottom left corner and big softkeys, making it all very "finger friendly". These builds reflect the latest cutting edge technology from Microsoft. Most people choose this build... Why else would you install a custom ROM ?
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You can stay up to date on the status of my ROM development by "following" me on Twitter.
It's definitely the fastest way to get in touch with me and please don't be afraid to tweet me if you see major issues with the ROMs.
I generally do not answer "support" questions on Twitter, as it's really not the proper medium for that. Service packs and quick fixes will always be released as links in my tweets and that's definitely the fastest way to get a fix for a ROM.
To follow me on twitter, click here!
This post features all the Cookie Hometab based ROMs I make.
The original ROM is the "energy" version and that's a good starting point. All the rest, are themes applied to that ROM.
They all come in two versions, Cookie 1.8.5 and Cookie 2.0 (the ROM filename will be labeled "Cookie" and "Cookie.2.0, plus the name of the theme)
You can see more screenshots of these ROMs a couple of posts down.
The two Cookie versions look pretty similar, but Cookie 2.0 has multiple sliding homescreens/freely moveable widgets (similar to Android) and
quite a few more features and speed.
My own 'Energy' style
This is the best ROM version and the way Sense should have been designed by HTC
Offers the biggest customization ability out of all versions. You can add/remove bars or items on the homescreen, arrange items any way you like, plus lots of extra features
Three built in lockscreens. "HD Mini" style, Manila style or Windows style
3 pages of quicklinks with a configurable amount of shortcuts displayed
3 Homescreen layouts to choose from, as seen in the above screenshots, all completely customizable !

Dinik's "Anastasia"
This ROM series is skinned with Dinik's great "Anastasia" theme applied on everything.
Everything has been skinned, including Sense, the start menu items, the soft keyboard, parts of the dialer... etc
_LeCiel_'s ".sencity"
This ROM is themed with the .sencity theme released by _LeCiel_ who is a very talented artist ! Please support his work if possible.
.sencity is not %100 complete yet, but _LeCiel_ is working hard on finishing his work to completely skin the entire ROM.
Link to the original thread for this mod is here > Click <
DJC & Bobsbbq's "Touch Of Glass"
This ROM series is skinned with DJC's "Touch of Glass" theme throughout Sense and the Start Menu
More will be skinned as DJC continues his work on the theme in the future...
Link to the original thread for this mod is here > Click <
ElCondor's "GTX"
This ROM has the white GTX theme applied
Android styled taskbar, matching dialer, matching start menu background and Action screen background
GTX is a total reskin of the operating system, so expect a very different (white) experience
Link to the original thread for this mod is here > Click <
'Standard' ROMs that have no addons installed on the homescreen. Stock Sense 2.5 !
'Energy'
This series retains the stock functionality of the Sense UI. The files have been compressed by "CFC" compression. making the UI lighter and faster
This ROM still retains my theme and style, plus all the regular apps you find in my ROMs.
There are no homescreen addon-ons in this ROM. The best speed and the most stock functionality.
'Reference'
This ROM is mostly for people that want a close to stock ROM with the stock visual style. It's also perfect for doing your own customizations.
A lot of the cooked in apps are removed in this ROM, the Start menu back to the stock 3 row style
Sense and everything else is back to the default HTC green.
ROMs mostly created for enthusiasts...
MaxSense UI (android style homescreen)
This is a complete rewrite of the Sense homescreen, by maxycy.
It features a 3 screen, Android style, homescreen with widgets! The widgets can be placed ANYWHERE on the three screens.
75 Quicklink accessible on all tabs
You should really visit the original thread for this mod shown on the next line to see all the features!
Link to the original thread for this mod is here > Click <.
Titanium (ROMs for raw speed!)
This is a minimal ROM version without Sense in it. It's used primarily for people that like to customize the default 6.5 homescreen (Titanium)
You can use it to install alternate homescreen interfaces like SPB Mobile Shell, etc
Very low memory footprint and good battery life, but very simple and lacks a lot of features that you would otherwise have available in Sense...

ROM features at a glance:
Very fast startup time. You find any startup wizards in this ROM. You'll be up and running in a couple minutes after flashing the ROM.
XDA_UC is built in. It will import your custom XML and REG files from your storage card after first boot.
My own Settings Exporter application is found in the Tools folder. Use it to export all your settings after you customize the device. When a new ROM comes down the line, use it to import everything and save time.
Everything is setup to use the phone right after flashing. Sounds, notifications, etc
The HTC Messaging client is removed, leaving the windows built SMS client for much faster texting...

FAQ

Q: Do I need to install Hard SPL before I flash these ROMs?
A: Yes, it's highly recommended, this thread will help you out.
Q: How do I keep WiFi on even in standby?
A: Open "BsB Tweaks" in the "Tools" folder in the start menu. Scroll down to Connections/Wifi Standby and turn it on.
Q: I have problems with "my location".
A: It might help to update your current radio. Use this thread for further info about which radio that suits you.
Q: NRGZ28 have uploaded new ROMs, but I can't see any changelog for it!?
A: Sometimes their isn't such a big update and therefor no changelog will be posted. But you can try to look at the changelog for HD2.
Q: Their are new ROMs that are recently released, but I can't find them on Hotfile...
A: NRGZ28 often spreads the news about new upcoming ROMs when he starts to upload them. And he don't just cook ROMs for Topaz, so have patience and wait for the uploading to finish.
Q: I use GTX themed ROM and the clock stretches zeros, how can I fix this?
A: Install the hotfix called "ECKM GTX clock 0 fix" that's attached to this post. NOTE: This fix is from the original GTX thread where you also can find hotfixes for other bugs in GTX ROMs.
Q: I get wrong username or password error when I try to login on Twitter, even though I've typed in the correct username and password?
A: Try to log off Twitter on any other device/computer.
Q: Time zone prompts multiple times a day, also after a soft reset. What can I do?
A: Just go to the BsB Tweaks application (Start->Tools->BsB Tweaks) and turn the "Auto Sync Clock" off.
Q: How do I configure the action of the softwarebuttons?
A: Go to: Start Menu - Tools - Advanced Config - Click on Menu - More Settings - Key Mapping. You can either select from a list of applications on the drop down menu or browse for an application of your choice.
Q: I've got problems with Bluetooth Carkit Paring. What can I do?
A: This could solve the problem.
Q: MaxSense won't launch, even if it is after a flash/hardreset. Is there any solution?
A: There are not a straight answer for this, but one thing that seems to have helped others is to remove the XDA_UC folder from your storage card.
Q: Where is the "addons directory"?
A: At the moment, it's located here.
Q: My battery is draining... is their any fix for enhancement?
A: Yes and no, because sometimes this "fix" helps and sometimes not. However you can find the trick here.
Q: Do I need to hardreset my phone after I've flashed one of NRGZ28's ROMs?
A: It's recommended, because it will remove any old settings that may cause bugs in the new ROM.
Q: It would be great if I could boost the audio on my phone, is there a way to do this?
A: You could take a look at this.

XDA_UC FAQ

The XDA_UC cooked in my ROMs is modified from the stock XDA_UC made by Noonski. Great addon, by the way... Noonski did a great job with this !
The version in my ROMs is trimmed down to fit the needs of my ROM series.
Some of the extra features are:
It will copy shortcuts (.lnk files) found in \XDA_UC\Start Menu\ to the device's start menu folder (\windows\Start Menu) in the hierarchy that it finds on the storage card. For example: Let's say you have a navigation package on the storage card, like Navigon. If you make a shortcut to the navigon.exe file as Navigon.lnk and copy it to \XDA_UC\Start Menu\GPS\ as "Navigon.lnk" then on a fresh ROM install it will copy any shortcuts it finds there to the same location on the device, so it'll end up in \Windows\Start Menu\GPS\. This works for other folders on the Start Menu as well. Just put the shortcuts in \xda_uc\Start Menu\ in the folders you will like the shortcuts to appear to, on the device.
It will copy a custom splash screen from \Storage Card\XDA_UC\welcomehead.192.png to \windows automatically and overwrite the one in the ROM.
It will copy a custom Sense background found in \Storage Card\XDA_UC\sense\wallpaper_sense.png to the device and set that wallpaper as default in Sense. So rename your wallpaper as "wallpaper_sense.png" and drop it in \Storage Card\XDA_UC\sense\ and on the next ROM flash that wallpaper will become your wallpaper in Sense.
Other than that XDA_UC works as designed by Noonski and it will do the following things:
It will automatically import your PPCbackup (*.pib) file found in \Storage Card\XDA_UC\
It will install custom XDAS scripts found in \Storage Card\XDA_UC\
It will silently install CAB files found in \Storage Card\XDA_UC\
It will install special CAB files that require user input (such as Agreements or any type of prompt) found in \Storage Card\XDA_UC\SD
It will silently import REG files found in \Storage Card\XDA_UC\
It will silently install REG files found in \Storage Card\XDA_UC\Exporter, as exported by my own Settings Exporter, ONLY if the "automatic" file is also present in that folder (and it most cases it should be, enable that option in the Settings Export application's menu)
It will silently import XML files found in \Storage Card\XDA_UC\
It will silently import CER files (usually Exchange certificates) found in \Storage Card\XDA_UC\
It will silently run custom MSCR files found in \Storage Card\XDA_UC\
That's it, but don't forget to checkout the Addons folder and look in the XDA_UC section for tips and tutorials on how to export your email/wifi settings and various little .reg and tweaks you can add to your XDA_UC collection.
As always don't forget to check what installs automatically before reporting a problem with the ROM. Most of the time, if you notice you have a problem that nobody else is experience is because one of the cabs you dropped in the XDA_UC folder is installing automatically while you don't even think about it.
Cheers will definately give it a try, erm why does your music collection look too similar to my 90s college collection lol!! Some classics there!!
Cheers
Just installed the standerd version from the 18th sep from you.

Hi! Excellent Rom, but there is one question:
The program soft key manager changes name Left softkey, but does not start the assigned program.
SORRY guys but just trying to point out the obvious,,,,,, NRG split the roms up in two, so dont you think its about time to stop with the wifi bug if you want him to continue development,,,, seriously, if you want it, flash the rom, if not dont,,,,, if you flash the rom youll find out,,, ,,, by now we should asume that the wifi IS messed up.... so why not just report if it isnt,, ,,,
i for one would like the oppotunety to be able to flash Energy roms with manilla 2.5 in the future... not trying to slam anyone or offend anyone, but just pointing out what i got from the last few post by senior members in the "genesis" forum, including NRG...
NRG: Thanx for another superb rom.... keep up the good work pls
amazing rom thank you for your hard work my phone rocks thanks to you

What's wrong about asking for a known bug in previous roms?
Considering that this is a new build and that NRG says on the first page that there are NO bugs, only some from HTM (twitter), I just want to know if has figured out what the problem was and if he has fixed it.
That's it dude....
NRG, thanks for your amazing roms, your patience and dedication!
Ok, more people saying that the wifi bug is still there. I'll post my findings when I finish downloading the file........which is going terribly slow (rs mirror).

Finally finished downloading the rom and it's installed now.
I am connected to my home wifi and I'm trying to see if wifi goes on and off.
A problem (maybe bug) that I see now is that I can't turn off the wifi manually through the com. manager. I see the slider is to the right, so wifi is on, but it's greyed out.....I can't turn it off.
I have to click on settings - wireless lan - menu - wifi - menu - turn off wifi
So this is pretty annoying.......can you guys check it out and see if you can turn wifi off manually in the com. manager??
Thanks, I'll checking the forum....
Cheers!
Thanks for all your hardwork on the EnergyROM's, you shall definatly be receiving a donation when my own personal credit crunch ends.
Love the Twitter integration too, I'll just wait a couple of revisions until it works, but its nice to see HTC embracing the "new" social networking site.

So this is pretty annoying.......can you guys check it out and see if you can turn wifi off manually in the com. manager??
Thanks, I'll checking the forum....
Cheers!

Maybe you have connected your phone with activesync and try to turn off or on a wifi? If yes... unplug phone from your pc.
Ok, I've been testing the rom now for about 40 minutes and so far no wifi bug for me.
I've let the phone on for 10 minutes and it didn't try to connect to my wifi. I've switchted the phone on and off (the screen) and it doesn't connect to wifi automatically. Which was the case in the previous version.
So for me, thusfar no wifi bugs. I'll keep the rom for a whole day and will post tomorrow with an update.
Thanks for the great rom!!
Cheers!
Wow!! another nice new ROM! thanks, NRGZ28, gonna flash this ROM later and report what i found(hopefully i would find nothing as bug).

Introducing O2 Dynamic Menu
Taken from O2 Helen Test set from O2 Asia before they close down & convert to MWg Atom V.
This Application will give you a simple launcher menu when press and hold the action button, just like Iphone, 1 button to open that black menu.
But some of the icon will not work as the shortcuts are assign to O2 helen settings & filename. Camera & Weather dont work.
Once into O2 Dmenu, user can only escape the menu by Locking the device, this can be done by tap and slide from the left to right on lcd.
Dmenu also give you a lock screen during a call, so that user will not accidently hit any button or end call by-your-face! simply release the lock by pressing'the action key or lock back by hiding keypad.
this is a custom rom build out from other device & compile for O2 Atom, There might be bugs and errors still that cannot be fix at this moment & no date given on when it can be fixed so please do not request or post things that are already mention.
O2 Application are taken from official WM5, it might not work as wonderful as the official ROM did.
Bugs
-Bluetooth cannot sync more than 1 device as it will corrupt, unable to send out file as cannot find device. A2DP with high hissing sound. download this to send out http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=269937&d=1263960660
-At times, CHome cannot scroll down or up with direction pad, maybe due to O2 Menu (Can Kill O2 Apps if not needed by user using Task Manager from FdcSoft)
-After reset, when locking device for the first time, it will be slower, subsequently is fast (Happens on most device with custom roms, normal)
-Camera cannot jump into MMS program (Different MMS app used, No solution yet)
-MMS did not have settings after running O2 Auto Config (Settings are base for another MMS App so it will not config for the current MMS app)
-O2 Auto Config pops out everytime i reset (Funny but Dunno why)
-O2 Auto Config do not detect my SIM card (Manually select your country and operator wont be hard as its only a 1 time thing until you hard reset or switch to another operator)
-At Times, i need to unlock twice (O2 Auto Lock bug, not a big problem)
-At Times, O2 Menu wifi shortcut will be missin in action. (Older version bug, i never use the latest o2 Menu as its not a big problem)
-My Screen Fade into White screen suddenly (Maybe overheat of CPU, its often seen when XCPUScalar is use with Xscale driver on Coreplayer/TCPMP)
-Image that save to memory card did not appear in CHome (Camera default storage folder on memory card is "My Pictures" but CHome only reads from "DCIM" on memory card)
if anyone have any idea how to fix the above mention, do post and share
O2 oem theme
Please ...rom available ?
Wow ... !!!
we r all waiting for this type of Rom pls pls Upload for our atoms
Great work
Tabbe,
Great work and very nice layout. Will have a go at it eventhough problems mentioned already know(from Helloworld & Glossyx1). By the way, I read somewhere before about tweaking the registry to improve the A2DP, not sure if it helps but here are the registry tweaks. I could not try as I do not have stereo bluetooth headset, only normal handsfree....
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Bluetooth\A2DP\Settings\
Bitpool - 40 (decimal)
MaxSupportedBitPool - 65 (decimal)
MinSupportedBitPool - 40 (decimal)
SampleRate - 48000 (decimal)
UseJointStereo - 0 (decimal)
HKLM\Drivers\BuiltIn\BtA2dpSnd\
Priority256 - 240 (decimal)
Hope it helps the hissing...
Vincent
look like a nice rom
Thank you Tabbe for your nice work. I am using it since 2 days without any problem. I can use my Bluetooth GPS and IGO. WiFi and Sync with Outlook and Vista are O.K. Also no battery problem so far with my Atom Black. Microsoft Market Place, Windows Live and MSN Weather+Money are functioning. I am happy

if you set voice command to say the callers name, it will reduce the original volume of ringtone and den voice out the callers name, i didnt try that with this newer build from microsoft, it may or not voice out the callers name but definitely lower the sound for sure in order for you to hear.
remove MVC is not needed or disable voice out imcoming call in option under settings personal

fading is due to over heat or xcpuscalar used with xscale driver mention in first page already, removing xcpuscalar is the only thing i can think of but im not going to do so as xcpuscalar can overclock to make it faster when needed, like watching a mp4 file grab from youtube.
its already a threaded sms rom, that is why i enable Sent SMS Notification popout when you send sms.

can you just hard reset your device by Power button+Reset and then red+green button.
after the screen calibration, do not install anything from O2 Installer & test the ringtone.
As long MICROSOFT VOICE COMMAND is not installed, the ringtone should be normal.
if the sound is soft still, you may want to flash back to original ROM is try to see if its a hardware problem.

Yes, Just like O2 Asia Official ROM, my WWE rom is mainly localized for singapore even when MSN Weather is installed, the first country it shows is Singapore but have also added fonts for different users needs.
Upcoming Extrom will have 3rd Party application for Thailand & Vietnamese & other languages input keyboard.

[ROM][CDMA]Ninja4hire Today i920 ROM(DG21 - 21914) v6.5 - (SEP/22/2010)

Special Notes
Please update your phone with the latest Samsung DG21 update before flashing this rom.
After you flash and XDA_UC has installed fully, I would probably soft reset the phone for good measure. This will make sure all installed programs are fully installed.
To use XDA_UC
Before you flash my rom, make a folder on your "Storage Card" called XDA_UC. Make a folder in that folder called SD. Whatever you want installed to main memory will go in XDA_UC folder. If you want to choose the install location, use the SD folder. Should be working 100%, but let me know if you have any issues.
Today and Main Menu
The Main Menu is on by default and also linked to the cube button. If you turn off "Touchwiz" it will return to the Windows start menu.
The Today homescreen's built in Google search widget will work, but you need to install Opera 10 to your \My Storage folder.
Current Issues:
*The Today home screen is a little touchy at times. Also the "Settings" do no always light up or work.
* jInbox is currently cooked (but not default). I only cooked it in so the sms icon works for Today.
Please let me know if you have any issues or if you want something in/out of the rom

Great looking rom!
You'll certainly upload it at OmniaRom as well?! I'd like to give you some karma...

Unfortunately no. Only what samsung added. They actually made a weather widget, but never finished it.
Updated to 21901 with PDA DC23
Make sure you have already updated using the Samsung DC23 update before you flash this rom.
version 3 is up
Current Issues:
No current issues that are directly my fault , but there are some.
The Today home screen is a little touchy at times. Also the SMS does not fully work. You will be notified and you can read new messages, but clicking it will not take you to your inbox. I suggest clicking on the email icon and it will take you to the inbox. Also the "Settings" do no always light up or work.
Think I may know why your sms is not working. Amd figured this one out. Try copying over DC23 stock Shell folder from SYS and the Redist_Lang_0409 and Redist_Lang_0409_Dpi_192. That worked for me when I was running into issue with not being able to reply to sms from windows default today screen. Who knows could work for you too.

Thanks, but the issue with this rom is that the Samsung Today screen is from the Omnia Pro. The SMS is looking for Jinbox instead of Tmail. So far I have not been able to make a shortcut or rename the program so that is thinks Tmail is Jinbox.
I have NO idea, but would changing these matter?

Ninja - you keeping this rom up with all the black and blue goodness (new swype, touchplayer, etc.)
Yeah. This one is next on my list to update. I have also added jinbox which should fix the sms issue <fingers crossed>
Cool!! This is my current go to ROM (been using for several weeks now)... seems to be the most nimble for me with MS 3.5 and a few other apps... of course a super duper light version with this UI is fine as well..
I wish there was a way to free up more program ram ... seems that around 84-89 meg is the limit that I have seen across all the various roms (between here and modoco)... by the end of the day I am down to 15-20 meg after some bloating of MS and some other apps...
Though I do keep FreeRam running
Thanks!!!
quick BumpDate!
thanx fr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
was gonna try black and blue but just seen that this rom was updated today.
Will let you know......
i like the samsung today but i dont like how long it takes to rotate when i flip the phone
