Making doodle jump run smoothly - Wildfire Themes and Apps

I have been trying to get doodle jump to run smoothly on my.wildfire but it always lags.. I have OC kernel max 768 min 352 but the game still doesn't run smooth. However compared to my garminphone A10 which runs at a slightly faster processor and has higher RAM, it really runs smooth with no lags at all.. anyone has suggestions to improve the gameplay? It's a really addictive game!

Did you try turning off the sound ?

I have stock rom and it runs smoothly
Sent from my HTC Wildfire using XDA App

Yeah tried turning off sound.. runs slightly better but still the occasional lag.. one thing most irritating is trying to change the themes as I'm having a hard time sliding it due to the slow motion.. is there a problem with my phone or is this how its meant to be?

Same thing with me, lets hope the next update will reduce the lag

Cm9 or gingerbread?
Looks like cm9. Says cm_tenderloin which is what cm9 says

I'm running at max settings on CM9 0.5 at 1.7 GHZ. Very minimal lag, looks great, and using a Sixaxis PS3 controller puts it over the top. Amazing!
Off topic a bit: but I got up to the sniper mission and lost all my data. Can anyone provide me a save game file?

You could have just a bad download. This happened on my Nexus S, would try to start the game and it would crash about a third of the way through loading.
I would start with deleting the "com.rockstar.gta3" folder under "Android/data" on your SD card. Doing that will force the game to redownload data. Keep in mind if you do that you'll use any game progress.

Official twitter app buggy/laggy

Has anyone else found their twitter app laggy and slow to respond to touch especially when scrolling? Its really bad for me so much so as I'm using another app for now. I'd prefer to use the official version. Does anyone know what the problem might be.

It is gingerbread. There's a video on YouTube called something like "android is now as smooth as iOS" the video shows the difference when the GPU is allowed to regulate use in ICS.

Actually, it's laggy on both my Galaxy Nexus and my Note ...it's not really related to Gingerbread or ICS because the official Twitter app sucks on both and I've noticed it for a while now. Hopefully they fix it.

Yeah, it has to do with Gingerbread, not the phone itself. I saw the same YouTube video, where the user forced 3D GPU rendering on ICS and the twitter app was smooth as butter. It has to do with Android not defaulting/forcing the full use of the GPU for rendering, probably has something to do with battery life. I think if you are on ICS, and have Developer Tools in the settings menu (probably some custom rom has this enabled) then you can force gpu rendering.
Read here. They recently updated, and the article was nice enough to mention the Note specifically!
I just updated it. It's not 100% smooth, but it is probably 100% better than it was 2 days ago. It was almost unusable before...
I update and found it to be better also

Is Twitter serious. to post comments smaller then a text message I have to ramp my GPU up to waste power??

GTA III graphics settings

As a PC gamer, I have a hard time looking at a games graphics settings being low. I have searched all over for graphics settings that don't cause crashes for our phones but have been unable to find anything. I was just wondering what everyone here uses for their settings, or did you leave it stock?
I've left it stock and it still crashes. On every rom I've tried. I can play it for a few mins then kaput! I made it to the 2 city 5 missions in and It kept crashing.

Seriously gta has never crashed for me on miui or icscrewed
Sent from my SCH-I905 using xda premium
ICScrewed has worked for me as well, although every once in a while it locks up and crashes. I do often play it with a 1.4 Ghz overclock- I've noticed a significant difference with that small change.
It shouldn't be crashing that much

Not sure why but it does. And I love this game.

Well use a different launcher then? Can you send me the link for the MIUI launcher too? Is it resized MiHome, or some edit?
Here the link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1454641 it's moded qqlancher but replicate of miui v 4 lancher its in the secound post and if u used cm7 you can try miuv4 theme who are better than the stock miui.
Sent from my HTC Wildfire using xda premium
Oh right, its strange that the launcher fcs when you overclock higher than 710mhz. Have you tried overclocking then installing the launcher, and seeing if that helps anything? Or trying the QQ launcher from the market and seeing if that has the same issues?
The lancher don't fc my phone freeze and reboot 5 minutes after start.I only tried at 740 freeze and 729 freeze while playing game.
Sent from my HTC Wildfire using xda premium
The game wont run any faster. Only if u can overclock to 728 and higher maybe. But your phone as mine freezes when i overclock to 728 or higher so the game and everything else wont go faster.
And for all sory i Forget too send the moded apk which we can cheat on the game Will upload soon.

How to make the tab smoother and faster in scrolling and internet-browsing?

Hi guys, i have tried a lot, but im still not satisfied and i also hope this question is allowed.
I dont want to buy a new tab, just get out the best of this one. So im running cm10.1 on it with interactive govener up to 1600 mhz. I also activated gpu rendering. And tryed out severals browsers. But its still miles away from the browsing performance of e. g. my computer. Of cause this tab has a lower hardware, but is the maximum of it really reached? I have more the feeling that it is software caused. What is your opinion, what else can i do to make it smoother and faster in scrolling and browsing, because thats all i do with this tab. Greets and thx for reponse.

You can either go back to cm10 (not cm10.1) or try cm9, or if you want stock, try Fourth bar revolution. They are all very smooth.
I'm currently using Honeycomb again (Task 14) as EVERY rom above Honeycomb for this tablet has a horrible Youtube lag/stutter, so I'm really enjoying Honeycomb right now.
hi guys i too have the same problem on my tab 10.1 lack of touch response, really hate it while playing games...is there any solution to this.
I dont think mine have such problems but if u all have the linked video highlighting such problems maybe i can compare it with my p7500..

CM10.1 on my p7510, very few problems with it, and it's buttery smooth (most of the time).
Touch screen tune app on the play store?
Mine is also running smooth on CM10.1 P7510

You need to change the io handler to deadline or noop.
E.g. Easily done with pimp my ROM app

1600 is much too overclocked. You're hurting performance and may lead to premature device failure.
Any speed above 12/1400 is just excess heat...UNDERCLOCK ing to 760 will add 20% battery life with minimal
If any app performance loss.
