I don't think you can. You need to root your phone to able to do that. :-S

If you mean that you have insalled ADW.Launcher or something else, and you want to go back to the default one you can create a link on the ADW home screen:
I'm italian, and I don't want to change languarge on the phone cause I'm lazy, so:
On the home screen hold down your fingher and select: Other Links ( Altri Collegamenti ) > Choose Activity ( scegli Attività ) > Activity ( Attività )> Start Screen ( Schermata Iniziale ) > Start Screen ( Schermata Iniziale )
Click Ok & ther is the default SE screen.

reinstalling the firmware using SEUS will fix the problem

Ok. I think you are saying that sombody changed the wallpaper.
For that, from the Official Launcher:
Press Menù Key > "Change Wallpaper" ( Cambia Sfondo ) > "Sony Ericsson Wallpapers" ( Sfondi Sony Ericsson ) > The one you are looking for is the last one ( I also love it ).

2.1 is really great and phone is much better...anyway here are few questions
1.) how to lock the screen.. prev when i press the power button , the screen will go dark and it will lock the screen , how to do on 2.1 ?
2.) i am on 2.0.A.0.504 (Binary version of global firmware ) .. is this the latest i mean i read on a blog that "the latest certified build is 2.0.B.0.127" so is mine a beta firmware or the main release itself ?
3.)i am going to root next .. can any one explain me how to ? i mean how to use that adb ? and also what is the procedure to remove moxifier ?
4.) I am using launcher pro , is there a way to change the background of the menu( the icon back ground after pressing the main key ) its now black .. can i change to some wallpaper or any patterns ?
5.)currently the image in contact are pixeled , is that a bug ? or should i have to remove and put in a high res pics ?

Not sure, try hi-res images and see if it makes a difference.

I have a few queries, please some one clarify
1) In the lock screen there are few lines like "This phone belongs to", An alaram icon and "protested by antivirus". Can we able to change these?
2) While charging there is a battery icon in lock screen that shows battery level but after charging its not showing. Is there any way to show these.
3) Is there anyway to edit Status switch widget. I need only few from that.
4) I am actually using only 4 home screens, is there anyway to edit and remove the last one like in ADW launcher.
5) User guide is not working "Cannot find user guide on memory card ....." But I did not delete it and user guide is still showing in Ti backup. How to fix that.

Is your X10 first hand? Did you install any antivirus app from the market?.. and there's another app which can add that line to the home screen, forgot the name.
i deleleted few apps and landed being not able to boot into the phone... luckily my phone was recognised thru SEUS , so did a repair / reinstall of the firmware.. now everything is fine including the power button press....
the root was also fine ...

I have some questions, and i can't find answers by using the Search button (Or it is maybe hidden on a 50 pages topic) and my english is sometimes too bad to understand some people.
So here are my questions.
I rooted and did everything to my little x10 mini pro, and finally managed to install owain's port of Cyanogen.
I had some trouble and solved it alone (like market always crashing etc ..) but i still have some questions.
1. Mapping the keyboard.
-- Using owain's update.zip i found the keyboard perfectly mapped, (which was not before updating it) but the problem is, being french, i use an AZERTY keyboard and got an AZERTY physical keyboard.
Everything is in the good place but the A/Q and Z/W and i can't find where i can remap it, may some one give me a clue ? Tell me which file to modify or something ? Or even a thread I maybe missed out ?

2. Lighting this keyboard.
-- By using this rom, my physical keyboard light is off, which if kinda boring using it by night.
I didn't find any answer but a "Owain's maybe have to solution, ask him".

3. Finding back my Timescape.
-- By using this rom (sorry my english is THAT bad ), i don't have Timescape anymore.
I found a topic claiming "Here are all the x10 apps you have at start" but when i try to download anything (shortlinks ...) i get on a freelolgames website ..
(Right, i just understood by checking it again, that there is a "Skip Ad" button on the top, and i'm gonna try to find it myself but i let it there like it may help someone else).

Fix 1 go to /system/usr/keylayout
There you need to open the file qwerty it is just a text file
Search the keys that are wrong it will explain itself
About the keyboard lighting mike and i are working on it but se did it on a weri unofficial way so we need to figure it out how
And about time scape sorry but that is only in the se rom ):
Maby we try to port timescape after we fixed the major bugs we have left
Try to install the new software we provided and with the last update zip it will fix the mareket crashing

Edit : It's okay now for the keyboard. I'm going to upload the keyboard file if someone may need it.
Fresh install + v1. 6. 5 + v1. 7. 1 and the market still doesn't work ..
I may know where the problem is.
I didn't use the CM6 2.5 rom as I always get a md5 mismatch. I use the FloyoCM6 someone posted on your topic.
May you reupload your (and MikevHL's) rom please ? or i missed something about the md5 problem ?

did you try removing the space in the name of the update file?

we are looking to the keyboard but android has normally a text file with a zero or a one for the keyboard lit but SE dont have it... so we need to find the path
the orignal path is /sys/class/leds/keyboard-backlight/brightness
led flash:
adb shell
cd /sys/devices/platform/msm_pmic_flash_led/
cat spotlight::enable
echo 1 > spotlight::enable (led back on)
cat spotlight::enable
echo 0 > spotlight::enable (led back off)
keyboard backlight
adb shell
cd /sys/devices/platform/msm_pmic_misc_led.0
cat brightness
echo 1 > brightness (keyboard backlight on)
cat brightness
echo 0 > brightness (keyboard backlight off)
found the files finally jeeej
only problem is when you turn the leds on you need to set it to 0 before they go off so that will eat your battery
need to write a script now so it turns automaticly off when you close keyboard
keyboars backlight fixed look in CM6 threat to update

here is another question
bluetooth is not working after closing a bt session.So if you boot with bt all is ok, but if you close and restart a bt session there is no way to connect with a other bt
unit.
after a reboot all is ok again. did the task not start again or is this just a problem

I have tried the settings on the thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=982341 but unfortunately it did not work. Maybe I'm doing the wrong order or something. appreciate if you find the answer.

i tried a couple of apps .. it only changes the resolution till the Boot .
and it actually Boots after every time i change the resolution " density " of the phone ...

Hey guys root tools allows you to change the lcd density with a click of a button but the only thing is it doesnt yet support our small density value (110/120). But as was mentioned a few posts back just edit it in the build.prop for now.
The only two values you should use are 110 and 120. Anything higher and you may not be able to change it back with ease. Anything lower wont be too bad, but, if you put it too low then it may become too small to read.
I had this smae problem a few weeks back. I changed mine on purpose to see what happens and it wasnt good. Screen went so big i had to pull the build.prop using adb and then push it back to the phone again. It took me ages to figure out what it was originally set to.

actually the fix is already there, we just have to look for it... =] no need to find new files on other thread..
one issue that i encounter after doing this fix is that i cant install any apps... it hangs at installing... ... ... then reboots the phone.. it also deleted all my apps tha i installed like "shoot me", "root explorer" and "launcher pro!" please confirm if the same happens to you or is it just me.. i tried recovery but the same still happens...

As for the lockscreen you could get Widget Locker but for confirming calls you would have to Root your phone and flash other dialer.

Here ya go but remember you have to run Gingerbread ROM in order to use this but then again you could try it on ICS too.
Just remember to do a NANDROID backup in your recovery just in case something goes wrong.
