ive tried with cm6 rom and its still pretty laggy. its 1.4.2 version right?

1.4.2 came out ages ago. They are still working on a lite version for low end devices.

they say it supports 320x240 res but it barely does

Hmm it works pretty good for me except for the ads. ..

Well, it works, pretty good with 2.2 and ad block and muted sound. I didn't overclock I'm not that much of a mobile gamer.

Slow touch/response!

Why is the touch so slow on my x10? When im using an Samsung Galaxy S or even an HTC Wildfire the touch response is very good, for example when i drag down the status bar it follows my finger perfectly. But when I drag down the status bar with my x10 it rolls down after my finger. Iv'e installed alot of roms, but none of them makes the response faster. Is there anyway I can fix this?
Im on an pretty old baseband, can it be that?

That's the 32fps cap doing it's thing. There's not much you can do about it right now, unless you wan't to try zdzihu's alpha-kernel, but it has it's problems and I'd rather wait for a properly tested and supported kernel instead.
add this to your build prop
windowsmgr.max_events_per_sec=260
I'm also aware that..I've tried freekernel but it is still the same..it is not so responsive..for me iphone has the best responsive..

You mean freekernel as in the one jerpelea cooked, or the alpha-kernel as in the first kernel that was released for use to the community? Because the freekernel doesn't unlock the FPS while the alpha-kernel does.

It just can be used with baseband .52,and bb .52 is not supported by 2.2 rom..if I not mistake usb debugging is not working and many more probs, that why it is call alpha-kernel..Maybe it take weeks or months before our devs can make it stable and support all baseband versions..

Best ROM out of these?

Hey everyone! I'm so glad that full root is finally out! Now all I have to do is install a ROM. I've narrowed it down to these 4. How would you rank them?
Synergy
MikG
Shooter Rewind
Viper Rom
Or is there a better ROM out there? Thanks a million!!!!

I suggest you flash every single rom that is available, as soon as it's available. Sometimes you may find yourself flashing 2 or 3 roms in a day, because a new one is released as soon as you just flashed one. But that's okay. You'll learn which developers you like, and which roms work best with your phone. You'll also spend way too much time with your phone, and make your gf/wife hate you...but that's okay...we all do it....sort of..
Bare naked ROM ftw

EDIT: Lagless and battery life are due to the OC Daemon implemented... i recommend NOT installing a different kernel and NOT using SetCPU(as stated in the thread with OC Daemon)

If you set too aggressive, it may decrease battery life because it's constantly killing apps, vice versa i think.

The amazing spiderman game?

It runs HORRIBLE on the touchpad! All the buildings are pink wire frames and the frame rate is like 5 fps (literally). Why is it so slow? my touchpad is a 1.2 dual core model! For some strange reason this game runs fine on my samsung vibrant. which is a single core 1 ghz processor.
EDIT: To get it to work you need to install the adreno 2.xx drivers

You don't need to use the OaT's rom. You just need to flash the adreno2xx driver for ics on whatever rom you are running. It runs much smoother on the nightlies for me than on OaT's. I tested with multiple nightlies, and the adreno zip always does the trick ;-)

Asphalt 7, performance issues.

Hi, I have bought asphalt 7 and for the most part I'm impressed with its graphics and game play, however on certain tracks its kind of laggy.
I know some games aren't optimized for Android half as much as they are for ios Mostly due to the fact that there is so much hardware that Android runs on, but has anyone seriously got this game running well on their sgs3?
I'm running fox hound 1.43 using siyah kernel @1.4ghz. Governor is on demand. I'll try some others and update this post but at the moment it's laggy on London and another level where you drive through a building (not sure on its name)
If anyone has any tweaks and or tips on getting the most notable difference of performance out of this game then let men know please.
Cheers.

Omega is a great rom but towards the end of 9 i was getting lag's so i switched to foxhound and it's been very good indeed, it's only since i've noticed this lag on one game that i've debated changing rom's, personally i think that the developers of android games should work bloody harder, it's just like the pc / console war all over again, and i'm on the PC side of that too.
