How to add Arabic language to the g tablet - G Tablet Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys.
I got my g tablet yesterday from sears for $349.99.
unfortunately the stock TnT just comes in English. I wish that they include all language as apple ipad. I wish to be able to write and read in arabic on my g tablet beside browser arabic websites. I got the arabic font after searching but I don't know where I have to start. so anyone can help I will be appreciated.
Thanks

Assuming you got the market working, can you find a keyboard replacement which works with your characters? Search the forums about installing alternative keyboards, there are at least two methods for adding 3rd party input methods, one with temporary install of stock settings app (via recovery, search for Replace_TNT_Settings/Rollback_TNT_Settings) which allows you to add any keyboard, second one is manually editing apk permissions using either adb or root explorer or root terminal.

Arabic texts

Hi I have HTC Hero modaco rom 2.0 and I cant see Arabic text on my phone. It shows square boxes instead
Is there a fix for this please?
to read and write sms i use an app called mirsal from the market
to see arabic text in the browser to need to install an arabic font, but i havent tried it as it requires the phone to be rooted
http://android.modaco.com/content/h...92804/how-solve-not-connected-letters/#entry0
Unfortunately, even if you put the Arabic fonts into the system it would still read them, but not in word-connected forms. It would still be better than having nothing at all, but it's still annoying to not be able to browse Arabic sites and/or make use of the Arabic language on Widgets. I hope someone fixes this soon or better yet, have Google integrate the Arabic language just like Apple did with the iPhone more than a year ago...

assuming that you already rooted your phone
1. Google for "android israel pack" , use the first link on Google: "israelpack - Project Hosting on Google Code"
2.use the direct download link
3.copy the IsraelPack_latest.apk file to your SD card.
4.use the application installer (on your phone) to install the pack.
5.on the pack download the Hebrew fonts.
6.restart the phone.
that's it...
worked on my phone, x10mini.
URGENT. Installed israelpack - everything in Chinese now
Rooted Motorola DEFY (2.1) and installed israel pack as described. Selected only the fonts option. After reboot, everything is in Chinese fonts. How do I get out of this? I tried to uninstall israelpack but the buttons have text in Chinese so I do not know what to click on.
Need help badly!
Thanks
Update
Update: somehow, after rooting the phone and installing israelpack, I got some malware into the phone - everything was displayed in Chinese and ads for new cars were shown at the bottom.
In my attempts to restore defaults, I also unplugged the battery and ... the lovely English fonts came back!! And when I go to a website with Hebrew text, the text is displayed correctly.
All in order now but I wish I knew what malware was installed and how to get rid of it FOR GOOD.

[Q] MiniCM7-2.1.8 on X10 mini pro: Howto install QWERTZ keyboard layout?

I have MiniCM7-2.1.8 on my X10 mini pro, and now I am stuck finding the correct way to enable the QWERTZ keyboard layout for the Standard and Android input method including the special German characters.
slade87's thread gives some (although quite confusing) info, but the files for download are not working any more, because they are based on the old update-script-style not supported by CWM any more.
It should not be that hard to perform such an important localization, most solutions only manipulate the keyprint.xml, but that's not enough.
So can someone please explain how to get fully localized QWERTZ keyboards for the German language up and running?

Use the application mini rom manager ... Search in xda..
Sent from my U20i using xda premium
Ok, switched to QWERTZ using ROM Manager, but as I already knew, this only switched it for the Standard Input, but not the Android Input.
I have seen in slade87's thread, what has to be done, to switch the Android Input, but I don't know how, since the downloads in slade87's thread do not work any more with recent CWM, and I really do not want to fiddle around in the ROM manually.
Any suggestions, or do just have to forget about the Android Input?
I´m going to "fix" my dad´s phone tomorrow so stand by until then..

Add-on dictionaries in JB 4.2.2?

Hello,
I have nowhere found an answear, that's why I'm asking You.
I'm on CM10.1 by mikeioannina, and have only one small issue.
I can't download and install other than english add-on dictionaries to AOSP keyboard. English is working perfectly. I've read on some forums that it is needed to go into add-on dictionaries, click refresh and more languages appear (for me polish apears), but when I try to install it, it just dissappears. I tried clearing data of dictionary provider apk, stopping the proccess, all that I found in google and xda.
So, any of You guys, have a clue how to do it? Maybe it's possible to manually push some files?
Please, help!!! That gesture typing in this keyboard is awesome. I don't want to use swiftkey or swype, as they are thrice as laggy as stock aosp keyboard.
Any help would be higly appreciated, cheers !
bump !!
