Gingerbread Style Icons - Vibrant Themes and Apps

I created these icons for my own use with Launcher Pro and Folder Organizer but I thought I would share. I've attached a screenshot of the icons although there are not very many right now. The link will take you to the thread to download the .rar file.

I actually used an app called "Folder Organizer" to create new shortcuts to the existing apps using the new icons.

These icons look fantastic with nero. OP are you going to make more? Id like to have a google voice one. Thanks again for sharing your work.

If you want the icons to be fully replaced even in the app drawer, search google for apk manager. Read up on how to use it. It will allow you to extract (you do not need to decompile it for this job), replace the icon in the res/drawable or res/drawable-hdpi folder, then rezip the apk then resign it. Once you do that you either use adb push or root explorer to put the apk wherever its supposed to go. If its a system app it goes in system/app if its regular it goes in data/app

Can you make a voice search icon?!
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App

I started to add to these before I realized that they aren't actually opaque like the standard LP icons. Here's opaque versions of the ones you're using.

Here are the others I made if anyone wants them.

GJ. Nicely done OP.

These icons look great! Thanks guys!

[DOCK] Custom Dock for Bionix Fusion Launcher Pro

[UPDATE] I have redid the dock a little removed the F from the dock background so it does not look odd if your using the scrolling dock feature. I have also added more buttons to the zip for most of the standard applications that you would find on your phone.
I did not have much to do at work today so I made this custom dock for my phone and thought I would share it with you all. I tired to stick with the pure black and white look that team whiskey loves so much.
In the zip you will find a standard set of icons and the dock. I have also included the photoshop files so anyone can make there own buttons or change the dock.

To install unzip and place folder somewhere on your phone.
Then go to Menu -> Perfernces -> Appearance Settings
Select Dock background then choose custom.
It will open the gallery find and select the Fusion-Dock.png.
Now on the home screen press and hold on a icon on the dock a menu will pop up. Select Change icon then select custom icon, it will open the gallery again select the icon you wish to use from the pack.
That is it.

yep, it's launcher pro with a sense dock. it has sense style buttons for you to chose from. They dock's layout is slightly different from stock (2 small buttons on sides, 1 big button in middle). the widgets are also themed. other than that it's launcher pro.
I have been using this forever. It got a c&d I believe though since it's basically giving you launcher pro+ for free. Created by Rang3r

If you are using ADW then do a search in the market for ADW and tons of themes should come up. Not sure if you will find an AOSP theme or not but you can make it look 99% like CM7 without any themes(that's what I did because I LOVE CM7 but too many issues on Alpha for me).

I'm no developer but I believe a ROM has to be used for that part due to framework files probably varying greatly between different devices.
Market has themes for cm7. There is an app built into cm7 called theme switcher that allows you to pick and choose downloaded themes to apply to your cm7. It changes your noti bar too. Search cm7 themes in the market and there will be a whole list of them.
If not looking for cm7 themes then there isn't a whole lot. Very easy to make. Main img files are in framework-res.apk and systemui.apk, which are in your system/app folder. Download gimp for your computer, pull the files, and your ready to start editing

My beauty :-D
How did you manage to get rid of the horrible sony ericsson interface that's laden across the whole OS? Was this achieved just through rooting? If so please point me in the right direction.
I rooted my phone, edited framework-res.apk and SystemUI.apk, searched for MDPI themes across the forums. Now I have much better battery and lockscreen.
Sent from my SK17i using XDA app.
i know it's offtopic, but what exactly do you mean with much better battery? About which range do we speak? Instead of one day two days? Or what?
Look of it

Actuall I don't know what you want to say with that answer...
@Prom85 I think he means that the battery icon up top of the screen is much nicer on the eyes, not that the phone battery performs better.
Anyways, Jokerok would you say that what you did (apart from the rooting) was a fairly complex or straight forward method?

Most images (battery, signal bars, etc) are in the folder called drawable-mdpi
Folder is is /system/framework/framework-res.apk
In this APK you will find all the images that make android look the way it looks.
So you can mod basically everything.
Edit png's inside drawable-mdpi.
Signal bars are in /system/app/SystemUI.apk
1)Copy the new framework-res.apk to your sdcard ...
2)Open Root Explorer and replace framework-res.apk in /system/framework/
3)Reboot IMMEDIATELY ...
Very helpful, cheers. Let you get back to topic now.
Hopefully if I'm successful I might post a screen shot.
