[Q] Non-Sense Contacts.apk - SOLVED! Boo-Yah! - myTouch 4G Themes and Apps

Hey Everyone.
I have searched and searched thoroughly with no real resolution so I figured I would ask!
Thanks in advance for any comments, suggestions, ideas or general feedback that this great community has to offer.
I am interested in getting the AOSP Dialer-Contacts.apk on my Rooted Perm-S off STOCK MyTouch 4G 2.2.1 Rom.
I have read in a post a post:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=712691
that it may be possible to run both dialers at the same time with Sense.
I followed the ROM Gorilla-DesireHD-MT4G PORTED -> baserom Link
post #2 where I then found the ROM kitchen. It shows in the Rom Kitchen that there is an option to include
Contacts installed to /system partition
* This option includes the standard Android Contacts application (this coexists with the HTC People application).
I know that this option is specific to HTC Desire HD MoDaCo Custom ROM
so I am curious if it would be possible to do the same with this stock MyTouch 4G Rom.
I have purchased the MoDaCo AdFree and Rom Kitchen subscription so I can cook up the Desire HD
with both Sense and Non-Sense contacts.
I am currently downloading the cooked rom and plan on extracting the Contact.apk and see if I can either
install it as a normal app (which I highly doubt will work) or push it to the system directory (which may not work either).
I will report back with my findings. But until then, if anyone can school me then I am open ears.
Is this possible? Has anyone tried? Am I being presumptuous in thinking that I have any idea on what's possible on Android?
Anyway, any feedback is appreciated!
Thanks again XDA community!
This place has changed my life!
My friends say I am obsessed with Android and that I need help.
They just want the old pre-Android me back but I think he is long gone!
UPDATE: 12-13-2010
I downloaded the cooked ROM from MoDaCo and I extracted the Contacts.apk.
I tried to install as normal apk which failed: Application could not be installed. No Surprise!
I then pushed it to the /system/app folder and set permissions, then restarted.
Both Contact Icons are there.
Both Phone Icons are there as well and both go their respective Dialers.
They both function properly so far. No errors to mention.
My Findings:
When I press the actual Contact Icon (picture of personal contact) you get a dialog box asking which Program you want to view the contact with, either the Sense contact viewer or AOSP contact viewer. Both work with the slide in dialog box with the icons for messaging, email or Internet. I set to the Sense slide in as default.
When you press the name of the contact, it also comes with a dialog box asking which program to view with, Sense Contact viewer or AOSP Vcard viewer, I selected Sense as the default.
The Dialer works to dial out as usual on both.
The call log also displays correctly and actually has the semi threaded call log. Not fully threaded per contact like Wysie's did for 1.6 Donut but partially when the calls are consecutive. I like that more than each individual call listed in a seemingly forever call log.

Favorites tab also displays the favorites but does not show frequently called, which I am not sure displays with the AOSP Contacts.
So everything as far as I can tell functions perfectly. Will report back if any conflict arises!
Will this help anybody? maybe not..
Will anyone have a need for two contacts viewing method? maybe not..
Will anyone care that I did this? maybe not..
IS IT POSSIBLE? Why yes it is!
Thanks MoDaCo for not just having the Kitchen available, which led me to believe that this was possible, but for everything you do for this community! Thanks Wysie for the images!
UPDATE: 12-13-2010
These are not actual screenshots from my phone with the working AOSP Contacts but just a visual result of what it looks like.
Don't mind the Notification Bar in these images as they are not what they would look like on your MyTouch 4G!

UPDATE: 12-14-2010
View attachment Contacts.apk from Cooked MoDaCo Desire HD Rom.
Please let me know if I am not allowed to post this or distribute.. I don't want to step on any toes!
I used Root Explorer being that I don't know ADB or Terminal commands.
Mount as R/W
Copy the attached Contacts.apk to system/app
Change permissions to rw-r--r--
User: X X 0
Group: X 0 0
Others: X 0 0
Restart Phone
There you go, both Contacts & Phone Icons in drawer!
This works PERFECTLY for me on the Perm S-Off Rooted Stock MyTouch 2.2.1 ROM.
I don't know if this will work for any other Roms or Stock Roms with other modifications, whatever they may be...
So give feedback if you try and let others know your findings.
Don't blame me for stuff that happens from trying this, as I am not you and what you do is on YOU!
With that being said, enjoy and give Thanks!

I'd be all over that if I was still on Sense rom. I"m sure that few people will find it usefull.

Not really any help but anyone got a screen of what it looks like...

Thanks borodin1!!
I am not a dev or claim to know much about much but I am happy I figured something out thru trying!
Just to know that you would be all over this makes me feel pretty damn good about myself!
Hopefully others can find this useful in some way or another!

Updated to reflect reference pictures of results.
I stated above, NOT actual screenshots from my phone.
Just images that show the results (as close as I can find at least)

Can you post the APKs and how you set permissions? Thanks

blackberty like address book
I used to have a blackberry then moved on to the Samsung vibrant and now mytouch 4G. I love my phone but I really do hate the Android address book I don't get why they can't have a a feature where you can see the company name of the contact. Specially when you have a few contacts with the same name and you wanna view the company name by just scrolling through the names. It gets really annoying yo have to click on every single contact to view their company name.
If anyone has a solution please share

Man I would love this on my phone. Hate sense dialer. Please share how to do thanks.

I found this workaround that may work for you
Source:http://forum.androidcentral.com/android-applications/39982-display-company-name-incoming-calls.html
Just edit the name in your address book to include it.
Instead of Bob make it say "Bob - CompanyXYZ" or
Instead of Bob make it say "CompanyXYZ - Bob " This way seems better cause they will then list in succession in you contacts list..
ex.
MyCompany - Deez N U T'z
MyCompany - Freakin High
MyCompany - Mike Hunt
Makes sense to me...

Loving the AOSP Phone/Contacts!!! THKS!!!

How do you set permissions? And I can't install the contacts.apk with Root Explorer. Am I supposed to?

does this work for the Iced Glacier mod with the custom Gorilla kernal?
i dont like the HTC SENSE!! argh!! Would be great to have this!

To set permissions with Root Explorer, you long press the file and press the "permissions" option on the dialog box. It then comes up with a dialog box that has options to either check, or un-check permissions for each group.
Apply the specifications of permissions from the first post.
You are basically just copying the file to your /system/app directory and setting permissions and this is considered installing. You are not installing the APK like a normal app, where it actually says installing...
Google search is your phone's friend and your friend....

nice will try this soon.

Alright got it installed and set the permissions.
Does X X O mean on on off/checked checked unchecked?
And also, how do you keep the HTC Contacts but use the AOSP Call Log?
Is that doable? Lol.

That is correct! XXO = Checked Checked UnChecked
If you didn't remove the HTC Sense Contacts (which if done I believe would cause major issues but not sure), then both will be there!
Just re-read what you had said, it's all about setting the proper defaults when asked.
Not too much control is had when using both because a default set using one will then in turn affect one another...
I don't think I can explain this well...

Works on Evo!

[ROM][Froyo/Sense]3rdSense 1.00[01/23][Added ?/sym key]

Hi everyone,
After lurking for awhile (and playing in the kitchen), I thought I should give out to the community for once.
I know that we already have two of the same Froyo sense ROM around... and unfortunately... this will look exactly like Miguel's and Whoareyou's Froyo Sense... except this version has WiFi (no hotspot), defaulted APN settings, and other apps installed for your convenience.
I'm nowhere near any dev's level in terms of deving (in fact I'm not even a dev. I just ported this because I can), but hey, I do what I can to help.
Here's a summary of this rom:
Ported from Legend's Gratiend ROM, and official froyo rom too.
What does NOT work:
fn/cap indicator
What is buggy:
Rotation (on homescreen) :\
01/23
ALMOST everything works. ?/sym keys are back! Special thanks for nbetcher for helping!
01/15
Minor update. Major issues are still not fixed...
But added data2ext:moving the whole /data to the ext partition. Right now only supports ext2, and has to have 4kb blocksize (adb shell mke2fs -m0 -b4096 /dev/block/mmcblk0p2)
type in data2ext --enable in adb shell, then reboot. You MUST have a fast sdcard (class 6) to make this worthwhile; otherwise you will just lag real bad.

note that the performance is done after oc and data2ext.
Special thanks to Blay0 for making this happen.

Now a2sd friendly! credit goes to acejoker for making this happen
after flashing the rom all you need to do is flash the a2sd package and that's it!
a2sd enabling package is here-> taken from thread [MOD] A2EXT Froyo.
also, deodexed.
Overclocking kernel is already inside. Just use setCPU to detect speed.
There might be some bugs in there still.
Report back!
Daniel.
Changelog:
1.0 Pretty much fully functional. Added ?/sym key functionality
0.6 Added data2ext. And wireless tethering app
0.55 A2SD enabled thanks to acejoker
0.5 KB light + front light.
0.4 Removed a2ext. Trackpad wake.
0.3 Fixed aufs. Added a2ext. Bluetooth works...?
0.21 Removed Terminal App. Modified LED. Kblight shortcut fix. barnacle now works. OC kernel. Zipaligned & re-odexed.
0.2 was an epic fail. Ate too much chocolate and ended up losing track on what I was doing, so I started from scratch
0.1 first draft. Adblocked and Added system r/w overlay.
Probably will have other bugs/issues
Credits go to...
Eugene373 and Elelinux for pointers towards solving the lights issue
migueltherocker for starting this whole froyo+sense craze in the espresso forum + pointers
cryshop + BlaY0 for the Gratiend ROM and helping me on restoring aufs.

I love you. A combined effort from you and miguel and this will be our best rom yet!
Sent from my HTC Espresso running CM6.
just realized that tethering doesn't work in this rom...
Did you try out an alternative Wifi Tether method, like Barnacle? Just because the wifi app in the Sense rom doesn't work doesn't mean that tethering itself doesn't work lol.
ALSO, could you possibly include the KB light app that someone mentioned in Miguel's thread? Apparently it forces the KB lights into working.
Interesting. Has anyone tried it already?
Yes. Wifi works great.
Sent from my HTC Espresso running CM6.
The app is on market. It does not work how you are expecting...basically you add a widget that turns the lights off and on ondemand.

Downloaded and installed. Multiple android.process.acore force closes. Phone wouldnt work i.e. couldn't call anyone. Reverted back to CM Nightlies will try again when more stable.
PS- other than the force closes everything else looked tip-top and I loved the apps you included. good work so far!!

You mind sharing how you fixed wifi? I had a couple ideas but I've been so busy I haven't worked on anything in weeks. What I had in mind was hex editing libhardwarelegacy.so (don't remember if that's exactly what it was called, it's been a while since I've poked around) to call our proper wifi module, but I never really got time to even try.
Dang! Get some KB and this rom will be perfect.

Barnacles actually reboot the phone upon tethering... dunno why.
Was the kb app called backlight off?

This is gonna make me sound dumb but the truth is i didn't do any hex editing... All I ended up doing is porting through kitchen, and extracted the boot.img and make the legend rom look like the espresso rom. LOL
Speaking of which, anybody knows why landscape doesn't work on homescreen?

because the rom was for a keyboardless phone so there wasnt any landscape pics added to make it look right when forced into that mode

Coming Soon:
More UI elements themed
More apps themed
jav... nice work! tried to catch you in IRC, but you left b4 I got a chance to talk to you about this...
Not sure if this was designed this way, but wanted to let you know either way... it's kinda that way in Google Voice as well... Great job tho...
I kind of did that on purpose, but I've been toying with making them more prominent a bit. You might see the look get updated in the near future. I'm glad you like my work though and appreciate the constructive criticism.
Niiiiiiccceeeee!!! Did you use the black modded apps package to make twitter and facebook black?
I really like the theme, it looks great. I also love dark/minimalist themes. The only thing i don't like about is it is that the battery indicator looks a bit too bright/happy for the theme.... Maybe a grey indicator in the status bar would work better or maybe a blue or purple one. Just a suggestion. Other than that it looks great.
Nice work ,

I've actually been trying to remove almost all color, or at least that's the end goal.... except for green. I wanted to let the Android green stay. I also happen to think it looks good with the black and gray, brings just a slight amount of color. So, unfortunately, I don't intend on changing the battery indicator. Maybe I could provide a grayscale option as a flashable update.zip style installer package at a later date though if I get time.
I'm glad you like what I've got together so far. It's really far from done yet, I plan on more deeply theming a lot of the other apk's, like facebook and twitter that you mentioned, so that they're more black just like the Gmail/Gtalk apps are already.
Perhaps I'm missing something....
since swype apparently was not included w/ 2.2.2, I downloaded the swype apk, but even after reinstalling the theme, I still get the default swype keyboard.
Other than that I'm a big fan, nice work!
The direction s on the original post should state where to find everything. I don't install swype automatically as not everyone has it installed/uses it. Check /sdcard/BlackOut for a D2_Swype.zip and flash it from recovery.
Afaik, it works perfectly. I know a bunch of people who're using it.
Please try and remember to always read the first post from start to finish before reporting "bugs". I'm glad you like my work.
Sweet theme, in the 5 minutes I have looked at it and tried it. No themed FB and Twitter widget though? Something I am missing?

It sounds like you're doing something wrong. You don't install apk's in recovery. Can you describe for me the exact steps you're trying to take to install these? Nobody else has reported any issues on DX or D2, so I highly doubt it has anything to do with the apk's themselves, but I could be wrong.
Best theme out there, any chance we will be seeing Gmail 2.3.2 in all black? Also a blacked out version of market would be pretty cool. Looking forward to the 2.3 drop when it comes out!

Everything should be updated hopefully this weekend to work with 2.3, including hopefully the new Gmail. I've been hearing there's already a Fission 2.3.1, so I might just jump over 2.3 to that, but either way, the theme will be getting updated and development continues.

I'm not really sure what you're doing in Root Explorer. All you have to do is open up the included "Files" file manager and click on the *.apk file that you want to install from /sdcard/BlackOut. It'll prompt you if you want to install it and you click ok. Afaik, you're the only one that's been having issues getting these .apk's installed. Try it the way I just described and report back, if possible. It's really the simplest / only way I ever install *.apk's and I've never had issue.

Open up LCDDensity again, set to 160 (default), and restart again (this is to fix the unusually small size of the new keyboard).
Use the icons to give the LauncherPro dock the Gingerbread look. DO NOT FLASH THE ICON ZIP FILE just extract it and customize through the LauncherPro menu. Alternatively, you can use the Gingerbread Launcher in the Market, but it does not have support for a 3D app drawer.
Set wallpaper to "Nexus" live wallpaper.
BUGS
Rebooting the phone will cause the keyboard to return to its small state again. You'll have to repeat steps 4 & 5 to correct it.
After flashing the theme from Sympnotic, the CM theme options may appear as a blank menu with one checked radio next to it. Check it again, leave the menu, go back, and STOCK_Black should be there.
After flashing CM6.1-Gingertheme.v6.1.LEGEND.zip I got stuck at the Cyanogenmod boot screen. I had to power it down then power it back up for it to properly boot. Everything was fine after.
"Add Call" button appears lower than the "End" and "Dialpad" buttons (See Post #5). Flash CM6.1-Gingertheme.v6.1.LEGEND.zip to fix. Thanks to Sympnotic.
MISSING FEATURES
New live wallpaper as seen on the Nexus S. Fake Nexus S live wallpaper added!
Official Nexus S live wallpaper.
Orange colour burst when reaching the end of a menu.
Sleep animation.

Hey thanks. Also, you ever think about making the notification bar slightly transparent? I think that would look real nice. Just a thought. I'd do it myself but have thus far be unable to figure out how.

I'm just trying to learn this stuff too. Right now I'm relying on Sympnotic for the theme and I'm not sure if there are any plans for a transparent version. Maybe in the future if I can figure it out myself.
@jaStrom: Just want to ask you something. Did you sign framework-res.apk after you apply the theme? And did you zipaligne the modified apks?

No and no. I didn't create the required files mentioned in the first post. All I did was flash/install the required items, made sure everything worked, then posted exactly how I did it. I'm still in the process of learning about how to properly use the SDK, so I've been relying on more advanced users' work.
That doesn't mean that it isn't zipaligned or signed, I just don't know since I didn't make it. Why? Are you experiencing slower performance?

Hi, I did the theme, and no, i'm not signing or zipaligning it, I'm too lazy to do that as I'm always replacing things at the last moment before flashing and testing it, but I'm moving files from .zip to .zip to prevent issues concerning signing.
Properly recompiled (w/o errors) framework-res.apk using apktool (supposedly fake signed) gives me bootloops.
I'll grab the fake-sign java thing just in case and will find some infos about it.

Gave it a try and everything works well. The new unlock animation is cool! The 'call' button is still lower than the 'end' and 'dialpad' buttons though. It doesn't cause any practical problems, it's just odd. Thanks for the Legend version!

[MOD]How to customize your 3.0 lockscreen wallpaper and request thread!

I posted this in the Bolt forums, but since its the same process, I figured Id post this here as well.
First and for most,
I must start this by saying that before you do ANYTHING
make a nandroid.
If you dont, well, that sucks for you.
I take no responsibility for your mistakes.
If a your phone turns into a zombie and eats your brains...
YOU SHOULDA RAN FASTER!
Now taking requests!
I wont claim to be some great artistic talent, but if you send me the image you want to use, Ill put it together for you. Donations not necessary, but always appreciated. Thanks!
You can find ones already done here!
Requests and premades found here!
NOW FOR THE SKINNY!
So, most of us, Im pretty sure, think that the wallpaper on the lock screens suck. I was curious about if it was possible to change it and the answer I came up with was yes. Big thanks to Cy_ni_c for the heads up on this.
First of all you want to grab m10 tools.
Once you have that downloaded, open it up. Now you want to get the image ready that youre wanting as your wallpaper. To make things easier on yourself, make three copies. The image needs to be set EXACTLY this way:
1. Image needs to be resized to EXACTLY 540x960. You can do this in any image editor.
2. Flip the image upside down.
3. The images MUST be PNG format.
Once you have this done, you want to grab the IdleScreen_Weather.apk out of the rom youre usings zip folder. Its located in system/apps. Once you get the apk, you want to open up m10 and click load file. Navigate and select the IdleScreen_Weather.apk.
Once this loads, you want to click the tab that says m10 Files. At the bottom of the screen, youll see where it says Decode Images, make sure you check that box.
You want to double click the Lockscreen_weather_bg.m10. It will ask if you want to decompile it. Click yes. At this point, youll be brought to the next tab which is Editor.
From here you want to expand until you see Textures. Under there you will see three spots labeled Texture. Click that and it will bring up an image to the right. Right click on this image and click "Show in Explorer". You will see three png files in here. You want to replace each one with the images you created earlier. This is important though. Make sure you copy the name of each file youre replacing EXACTLY. Im not responsible for any errors you make on renaming.
Once you get all three of the images replaced, go back to start and then save .apk Make sure to use the same name.
Now you can either push this through ADB or just place the apk onto your SD card. If youre using a root explorer, which is how I do it cause its just easier, you want to copy the apk into the system/app folder. You want to make a backup incase you run into any issues. Once you get your edited apk inside of the system/app navigate to the file and long press and go to permissions then set them as follows.
Read Write Execute
Owner: X X 0
Group: X 0 0
Others: X 0 0
Once your permissions are fixed, you want to reboot. When you reboot let it marinate a bit. Let it load up the weather before you unlock it. While this particular method is for the weather screen, you can do this with the Friend stream, stocks or any other one you pick up. The overall method will be the same, file names will change. Over all this is simple for even the biggest of us noobs, so now take the time to hit the thanks button and enjoy your new custom lockscreen
Tips:
If youre having issues with the picture that you chose, thanks to Black00StangGT, theres a possible fix. Open up your image editor and change the color sync rgb profile to the generic rgb profile.
If youre still having issues and youve tried all other things, thanks to PrsnlCrcl, theres a possible fix. Before you save, zip align the apk. More on that HERE.
BIG THANKS TO CY_N_IC for this. He told me and I transcribed it. enjoy!
If youre wanting to make anything disappear from your lockscreen like the clock or date, try this out.
Find /system/apps/idlescreen_base.apk and open it in the m10 editor.
Once open navigate to Lockscreen_time.m10/0x0dc10c5e/lockscreen_time/timeline.time_fade/text.lockscreentime_ and where you see where it says Visible=1(bool) if you change this to 0 it will be hidden. You can do this with each of the items there. Remember in binary 0=off and 1=on.
Once you make the changes, go back and save it. Push with ADB or replace in a root explorer like normal. Reboot and enjoy.

Im posting Modded APK's. Ill post screenshots here, but you download them from my site so that I dont have to continuously edit the OP. Plus since these work on the Bolt as well as the 3VO, Im not going to waste time updating links on two threads. I know you liked the pic, but I had to crop it and if you look at the pic I posted and the one you posted, its no longer centered because I wanted to get as much in the screen so that the weather doesnt cover it up.

I downloaded one from your page and it just kept cycling through the 3 pictures and never locked into one or showed the weather. It was one of the beach scenes. I used root explorer to add it.

[Theme] REDz-ound -v1.0 final-Ineffabilis [1/25/12]

I was going to wait until I was completely finished to release this but it seems a red theme is in high demand and with ICS leaks starting I didn't know how long until it would be outdated.
This is my first released theme for android so go easy on me. Another reason I'm posting this is to get some feedback from the community as to what they are looking for in a theme. I realize there are some things that could use polishing so let me know what you think. I'm open to feedback so long as it's constructive!
Disclaimer:
Flash at your own risk, You are the only one responsible for your phone.
I'm sure everyone knows the deal by now.

2) Boot into recovery
3) Make a nandroid backup just in case.
4) Wipe Cache
5) Install Redzound-v0.x-Ineffabilis.zip

MMS
Dialer
Camera
Flashlight
BootAnimation
ICS window animations
Roboto Font
Animated Notifications - (Turn off by setting notifications to transparent in mik settings )
Clock is not themed it is Beautiful Widgets "brackated_Red" skin
Rosie and a lot of other HTC things are not able to be themed at the moment. (to my knowledge anyways)
Bugs:
I have not come across any major flaws or bugs. But then again I don't use everything on the phone so please post with as much detail as possible of the location of bad icons and text strings if you find any.
To Do List:
Version v1.0 will more than likely be the final update.
As for porting this to ICS.... I"m going to wait until there is a official ICS release or as close to official as the devs can get
plus I need a little break this theme has consumed a lot of my time lately!!!!!
Download in 2nd post
I do have 2 small requests for anyone reading this or downloading this theme.
1) If you want to use or port this theme as your own ask me first. I spent a lot of time editing these images and want to know where it's going and that proper credit is given.
2) I recently realized the lack of real feedback in the android community. I see tons of mods and themes with over 1,000's of downloads and only 10 people where able to take the second to hit the thanks button. Also multiple apps on the market with millions of downloads and only 10,000 comments that's a pretty low percentage!! I hate to sound demanding but come on people!!!! It only takes seconds to do this and it's gives us themers, modders, and hackers something to go off of and keep doing what we do.
Lastly I wanted to give thanks to all the members of the various Android forums that wrote guides for people like me to learn stuff like this. With out the community I would not be able to do the things I'm learning to do. And also a quick thanks to UOT kitchen for the battery icons and the animated background. I hate making those crazy xmls lol.

Warning. Possible n00b question ahead (first smartphone so first time geeking out over my phone)...
Do you need root for this? I just grabbed a skin but it was an app I downloaded from the market. I've installed apps using adb before but based on the instructions it sounds like root is required.
I will be rooting but am studying up on Android OS and flashing ROMs/kernels before I do.
Also, once this is flashed, is it added to the skin/theme options on the phone so that it can be selected and deselected (blasphemy I know)? And is it all or nothing or can certain elements be changed, such as wallpaper or something like that.

Wait, you're a noob? You seem so seasoned in all your posts!
To answer your questions... yes you need to be rooted to flash this. This will not be a skin as it is a theme that you have to flash from recovery. It will not be added anywhere like the HTC skins. This will simply be applied to your phone. That means that you can continue to use that skin if you want to in order to add a little more to it. I'll be running this in a second and using one of the skins that was just released recently. And most of this should be all or nothing, in a sense. You will still be able to change things just like you could with the stock theme. Meaning that you will be able to change the wallpaper and stuff.
EDIT: You also need to realize that this is a theme for Ineffabilis. That means that you need to be running that ROM to use this theme. If you try to flash this theme on top of a different ROM or the stock ROM, you could have serious issues. Still can't get over that you're a noob haha
EDIT 2: You also don't need to use adb for this. You can just download it, put it on your sd card, boot into recovery, wipe your cache and dalvik, then select flash zip menu. You can then select it off your sd card. Much easier than doing it through adb, imo.
EDIT 3: Seriously, you're a noob????? Like, I hope you don't take this as an insult, but I just can't get over it. I consider you one of the select few who know what you're doing! I'm impressed

Haha, no problem. I am thoroughly impressed. If only more would read everything before posting I would definitely recommend Ineffabilis, though it will be dead soon. It is the best ROM right now, imo, but there will be better to come with the ICS leak out. I would suggest using that ROM for now, though. I like Ziggy's kernel, too, but others have had their issues with it. I've been running it since I rooted and haven't had an issue yet. (Well, it does bootloop when I'm charging it and it hits a full charge). But it's pretty stable for me. I'm flashing this theme right now, but I'll be using the Red Beats Skin on top of it.
Edit: This is to the OP... I didn't want to flash this because I thought it kind of looked meh in the pictures. Just flashed it and holy crap it's gorgeous! Big props and hope you keep adding themes for all the ICS ROMs.
Thanks wasabi! I'll try and to add some better screenshots tomorrow.
