after receiving sms/text msg I get a pop-up and then the msg seem to disappear. I`ve checked my setting but can`t find anything wrong.
I\ve downloaded some cabs this weekend (manilla, skins and so on) and maybe this have caused it. Now I\m hoping that one of you have similar experiences and have a quick fix. If there is something wrong with the cabs i`ve downloaded the forum prob wants to know also.
Really don`t want to reset my hd2 now.

I have wm2003 4.0.11 cooked and when i get an sms the screen doesnt wake up, it plays the notification, the screen wakes when there is a call though.
any ideas guy's n gal's

i think its just the wm2003, because - if i remember correctly, in the rom versions 3.xxxx the screen would turn on, but not in this one.
This is a feature. A nice one, I think, but someone came up with some software to remove it. Sorry, can't remember any more details, but some searching in Google ought to find it.

mine turns on when an sms is recieved, the problem is it doesnt turn OFF after a few min like it should (like it does if its turned on but recieves no sms). grrr.

ROM 4.01.00 does wake up the screen upon receiving SMS
that's good to know ....

again, be careful. The 4.01.00 file contains RSU upgrade as well. It will put you on RSU 6.24.01 which I 'm not sure it will work for you. Try to extract the ROM upgrade files only using Winzip.

maybe someone can help me. I flashed nuerom 2.0 build 5044 and everything is working beutifully. And before i get flamed i am not able to use the search function as it never finds anything regardless of what of what i search for.
However i cant seem to receive pics mail. now im figureing that since this is a sprint specific software that the proper files are not in place to make this work. does anyone know where i can get them or if there is something i can change to make it work. kind of annoying not being able to recieve pix mail.
Also my GPS seems to be working, sort of. I cant seem to get a fix but it will search for satellites and usually finds 2. I am using googlemaps. is there a better software or a patch or fix to make this more consistent.
And lastly i am receiving a popup prompting for a username and password when i got to access the web. I can click cancel and it lets me go right through but its an annoyance and really bothers me. I wasnt given a u/n and p/w and it doesnt appear i need one. Can i stop this from happening.

MMS is not cooked in to the nueroms. I don't know of a way to add it without it being cooked in to the ROM.
You can use another software like Live Search or TomTom.
Just put a check mark in remember password. It should stop asking.

I'm pretty good at searching for my answers & 95% of the time i find them. but i cant seem to locate the answer to this question.
I can send or forward a text to 1 person at a time with no problem. but i cant forward or send the same text message to multiple people. when i do, only the first person receives the text & no one else... i am running dcd 3.2.5... i have also encountered this before with the other dcd roms...
does anyone have a solution to this?... PLEASE!!!!
You have to put a semi colon in manually before you add each name....
Name ; Name ; Name etc.....
Wouldn't it help you and the forum best to actually elaborate upon your issue in the title? Just a bland question is actually a lottery for trolling of hits on the thread. ...just my two cents..

I do know that the latest rom does not include the latest Arcsoft MMS software. I'm not sure if it effects anything. You definitely have to put the semicolons in between the names. If that fails and you want MMS... download and install the following.... Arcsoft MMS 5.0.31.25

I have the same issue and has nothing to do with semi colons. It auto populates them when you select another contact. Only the first person gets the sms. I posted this in the DcD thread tonight. I came across it this evening when I was trying to send multiple contact sms's tonight. Bummer, but I am sure there is a fix.

So your saying with the latest Arcsoft from GC14 that you cannot send to more than 1 person???
You've installed something that is messing with the SMS.
Now in portrait mode I have no issues with selecting up to 16 people per SMS, and 10 in MMS. In landscape, I have to add the semi-colon after each name manually..... I am on 3.2.5 with the 3.42.50 radio.......

This works... now is there antway to have the semicolons entered automatically when sending a text to multiple people?
Well I founf a fix! quite simple. Go to start settings and input. select word completion and check all three boxes and now the semi colons auto populate. I forgot dcd disables this by default.

As per the subject. i tried using searches but nothng worked, so here's the question in full.
There is this program that comes with a lot of the roms now a days, it lets you download other software like a 'nix repository. I dont know the name and i dont know how to search the forums for it. but im sure someone knows what it is, the icon has an arrow on it i think and a globe maybe and it connects to a server to get a list of apps for wm etc. any help would b appreciated.
update PDMProject, i remembered i got an email from them with an activation key. few thousand emails later found the app.

i think, you people dont know your phone well
go to settings/menu/all settings/sounds and notifications/notifications/events: (there is a dropdown from phone:incoming call.. here)....message:send succeeded....change sound to whatever you want....bet you did not see this...
actually there was some reg tweak or cab to enable more hidden notifications and sounds to be displayed here...search for that also
some people just don't respond back...it makes me wonder....did they sell off their leodroid..??

I WAS ABOUT TO REPLY THE SAME !! most ppl don't know their phones cuz they most deal with sense settingsnot original WinMo settings
But i assume most people ask for solutions, when you give it to them if it worked they never come back, but if it didn't they return and ask for another solution .. IMO
