Im cooking Roms for Samsung Omnia Lite using 28236, and i have a problem.
When someone is calling to us, and i pickup a call, vibration dont stop vibrating only restart help. I change SYS many times and nothink help. Maybe some one have idea where is the problem ? maybe in some DLL files ? or XIP ?
only ring = no problems
only vibra = no problems
ring + vibra = problem

99% of O2 Atom life in Saudi Arabia has the problem of
( ERROR : customer or model Id Error ) while updating any of the new roms from O2 web page .
after my deep investigation about this issue i found this : on boot load screen it tells USB detected ( while its not connected to the usb cable ) and you can not run any function inside the boot loader screen , although the great service center team in Saudi don't know how to fix this problem .
it will be really highly appreciated cause it will not help only me to fix my device but lots of other users have the same problem .
When you get into the Welcome screen of DSUU, open X:\Windows\Temp\pass.32 (where X is your computer's system disk) with an hex editor, and you will surely find something valuable
i did like you told me but i cant do any thing with thi srom files . please give more explinations
There are 3 characters in pass.32 that is related to the identification process, like "WWE", "CHT" or something else. For example, if you want to flash an English ROM into a traditional Chinese device, just change it from WWE to CHT. I don't have ROMs in other languages, so I don't know what language codes stand for others.

Use something like WinHex...
did the language modifecation with winhex , WWE / ARA but still having the same problem with the same error message
Well... I don't know much about that... Hope somebody will help you in advance...
You can give another try... Do not change language code, do not enter bootloader and run DSUU directly when you synchronized the device using ActiveSync with your PC.
i have the same problem here and as hero said lots of us in saudi arabia cant upgrade with the same problem

I also want to know, cause my Atom no Radio. Now only can use Windows system, cant use Phone system.
My atom about warning sound is very light,also. And sometime the incoming call is very light also.

Orginally I had Orange PL ROM, which was working really slow in my NIKI, so I decided to upgrade my NIKI with Niki Project ROM version 1.0 from Tom Codon (thanks Tom)!
I have some questions :
1. Maybe I will want to back to service my NIKI, because I have a problem with my display screen. I have orginal ORANGE ROM, so the update should have the same points like update to NIKI PROJECT ROM ?
HardSPL ?
2. Second thing is that in TOM's Rom I have problems with SMSes.
I always used vibrate alarms in my phones, now when I receiving SMS messages the vibrations doesn't works. Any idea ?
3. Like I wrote previously , I have a NIKI from Polish Orange, so I can't access to HTC download zone ;( , but maybe someone have an access and be able to download and share orginal HTC polish and english ROM ?

Hello everybody,
I'm cooking a french ROM based on the Niki Kitchen 0.2 availlable here with a friend. My build is a 19591 from Diamond (translated in french using french Diuamond ROM MUIs).
Everything looked to be good since today after my last flash : when I tried to config my BT headset with the Niki, I got an error message (in french) : "Problème avec matériel Bluetooth" (in english (approx.) : Problem with Bluetooth hardware).
The only change I've done is to clean the OEM folder. I don't think I've deleted any DLL but can somebody give me a list of implicated files in order to make me fixing it...

I updated my neo to version 6.5, works fine!, but the bluetooth problem exists again..
I can send files to other devices but not receive files..
It looks like a firewall..
I read somewhere, that the wm6 roms have these problems.
Is there a solution, patch? Or registry-edit??
Could someone help me?

Which ROM are you using? I had the same problem but I don't anymore. Turn on the beam and the bluetooth and try again...works for me.

The radio version is like a computer BIOS! Dont know if you understand.. Its like what starts up on a computer before Windows starts up.. It updates the way your Hardware talks to your Hardware..
This does not affect how Software talks to Hardware.. that is within the ROM files.. if you can send files then there is nothing wrong with your bluetooth..
To receive files go to CommManager and turn on "Beam" like everyone else has said.. if you can't find it there go to: Start Menu > Settings > Connections > Beam > "Receive all incoming beams"

Now I'm waiting for a new 6.5 german rom! Maybe with the bluetooth fix..
With my new 6.5.1 neo bluetooth is working fine! but english.. need german input drivers..
