**AT&T** Fuze Lite ROM*****

I tried allot of roms people have cooked, and they all have their pros and cons, Can someone Cook the original rom and take all that demo crap out? and leave it the way it is? Dont add anything just remove all the demos they put on there...
im surpised no one has done this yet..
I know about the bypass bloatware trick...but i think thats more bootleg than having the bloatware, can someone edit it and post it? leave tweeter game and the rest of that demo crap throw out?
thanx guys.
You dont need a cooked rom to remove the AT&T bloat.... this has been mentioned in TONS of threads and blogsites and a 30 second search could have found it for you....
Here let met help:
http://www.google.com/search?q=how+...s=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a
Click the first result.
thanx
i know that, but thanx for being a smart ass. Things dont work right and things are missing when you do that GAY bloat trick... I guess imma have to do it myself... but thanx anyway
If you're not happy with the roms that have been created so far, then by all means please work on creating one yourself. Do not, however, start new threads asking people to make one for you. There are several fairly stripped down roms, and it's possible that one of the chef's around here would even help you out if you asked them. I don't believe there's a huge market for those wanting stock roms with no tweaks, and that is why nobody has done it probably.
I didn't note anything smart about the reply made by the other user here, so watch the attitude in the future. We are all to be respectful to the other users.

guidance to cooking and suggested kitchen

Im a little new to this site, and it is so huge, but i just stumbled onto this section. I think it is a fantastic section. Specific to cdma touch pros. Very cool. I feel like ive tapped the possibilities of my phone and im bored. Other than all the new 6.5 roms out, there are really no exciting things happening. Im thinkin of startin to make my own rom. Havent a clue what im doin. I know I need to download a kitchen, and a base rom. Is there a thread that explains how to make a rom and does anybody suggest a perticular kitchen? Ive searched but everything brings up kitchens. and theres a lot. Any help is much appreciated.

help me help myself

hi all,
so ive been using pdas for a few years now, had a kaiser loved it learned loads ie how to flash different roms to it apps etc great stuff,
moved over to the touch pro, wow amazing device again rand some roms on it found one i loves (we miss you Romeos!)
now im deciding that i want to learn a little more about the under the hood actions in terms of cooking, the os, all the weird terms ive read in different posts which totally overwhelms me with info,
now allot of people will say "search the forums" which indeed is the way i need to go, my only problem is working out where to begin, again the wiki is a great place to start, but unsure of what to read up and understand first
could some one give me a few pointers, i come from an IT background mainly networking but have done a few different things so im pretty confident i can pick it up quite quickly (i run linux at home at managed to pick it up really quickly)
so my question is. for some one trying to learn about the operating system in terms of cooking one for them selves, where would be the best place to start?
if any one of you amazingly gifted people could point me in the right place that would be amazing,
thank you very much
mousey
Download a kitchen and start playing. I used Proven kitchen the first time. It was very easy to use. I have also used Da_G's kitchen. Again, very easy to use and both contain many packages to get you started. It's just a matter of playing with the options then.
thanks for that yeah am now looking to do that however i was looking for maybe threads discussing it i see things like aku mentioned and builds etc and dont really understand, im a reader and like to read up and understand technical info before playing however sometimes you just need to do it so will take your point
thanks
@annonymouse:
I assume you have a GSM Raphael. I would suggest starting with the following Wiki page(s):
HTC Raphael
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Raphael
I started off with the following kitchen:
Da_G's Simple ROM Kitchen
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Da_G's Simple ROM Kitchen
I put a tutorial together for that kitchen to help other newcomers "ramp up" quickly. The tutorial includes several links to important threads that will help you get better acquainted with some of the aspects of Windows Mobile.
HTH,
hi thanks for the links ive read the wiki page earlier but am at work so mearly glossed however thats not enough so will sit at home and divulge,
will also check the link out for the kitchen
thanks allot i appreciate the help

Wanting To Learn

Ok so I've had my Sprint CDMA Hero since it first came out and rooted as soon as I could.
I've searched alot but want to make a Rom from ground up with my friend. We're going to try to make a Rom for both the G1 and The Hero (Through porting). I'm willing to learn as much as I need to, and have a spare computer for Development that has Linux on it.
If anyone wants to teach me I would be greatful
Can anyone help me if not the mods can close this...
Some things are sticky for a reason.
I think what cauli meant to say is:
You need to read Cyanogen's guide stickied in this forum. He is the main man regarding Android development and really knows his stuff.
If you still have questions regarding compiling your own rom, you're of course free to ask.
Just don't think the "chefs" will give you a quick tour on rom cooking, since it's pretty heavy stuff and takes alot of time and reading up to get to know the basics.
Good luck though.
Thank you for your help... Mods please close this thread

[Q] Regarding Kitchen

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,
My name is Alekos
I finally got the kitchen working from dsixda's thread on http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=633246
I'm using Cygwin, and Ofc It works fine, but I was curious to whether I can make my custom rom, is there a guide that I can read and follow along upon creating my custom built rom?
I wish to become a XDA Developer one day
So...can anyone redirect or guide me the way of cooking in the kitchen?
I use a HTC EVO 4G (Supersonic)
It's nand unlocked and rooted.
I want to learn how to make a custom rom but I need someone who has been building/cooking custom roms for Supersonic HTC EVO, and I'll be gladly to donate to anyone who's willing to give me a little guidance help.
Three things I need answers on:
Where is the fun in the kitchen?
Isn't there a guide to cooking roms for EVO?
Is there any other methods or hidden secrets or tricks to cooking?
I am an EVO Phone User, so please give me constructive criticism on my needed assistance.
C'mon no one can tell me where to get started on my custom rom? I've read some interesting threads but I'm curious to see whether I'm doing the right thing or not in the kitchen.
Can you let me know if anyone helps you with this?

Read these two threads and follow the links. It's just a start, but it should help.

The kitchen really is just a time saver. It's still really helpful to dig down and understand what's going on. I've actually learned quite a bit from looking at the scripts in the kitchen.
I don't think there is one "How to cook a ROM guide" yet, but I have actually started making one in my 'spare' time. As I learn things, I add to it. It will eventually get posted.
EDIT: I stand corrected. See this thread - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=697938
