[Q] [REQUEST] something to remove the FREAKING clock

in the taskbar ... its the bane of my phone ... i hate it its stupid as hell to have no many clocks showing ..
i understand with dont have fully root .. but we have pretty good temp root and wasn't sure if a script could be made to hide it
I use LauncherPro and there is an option to hide taskbar on the "desktop" or homescreen. If you need to see it you just tap menu and it pops up. The taskbar is displayed on the lockscreen and all other screens other than the desktop tho, and if you get a notification or something it shows up. So it really doesnt get rid of just the clock like you wanted, but the desktop looks alot cleaner without the bar showing and no extra clock as well...ha.
dont want to install another launcher .. but thanks

I don't think it's possible without root. You'd have to take apart the Services.jar file and remove the status bar clock lines manually.
Fill it with a Black Mark u won't see the difference

Change color LED/Illumination?

Is there a way to change the notificationcolor at the bottom (home button) on Ray?
According to Service Tests --> LED/Illumination there are more colors than green and white.

Its in the menu and you can change it depending on if its a text or a call etc etc depends what rom you are on
For miui its in settings/led
Or a really good app on the market called 'light flow lite'. U must be rooted.
I highly recommend it! You can change colour and speed for any notification.

Ok, thanks.
I'm on root but original rom, slightly modified with some cool/great mods like batterypercent and statusbar widgets. There are no such menu like "settings -> led" in original rom.

As above mentioned, i am rooted but original rom. If Light flow is the best there is for original rom, Light flow it will be!
If you have root, you can use 'BLINK' app ..
Works fine on mine...
you can edit file system/etc/pre_hw_config.sh
change number in last 3 lines..

Sweet thanks! I've been waiting for this one.
Thanks for your contribution .
ohhhhh, so that's what that stupid icon was. Now I just have to figure out what the other 13 icons HTC decided to put up there are.
is the icon just transparent? There's a huge gap between where the icon was and the bluetooth icon

Yes it is transparent.
That's what I figured, but hey, the icon being transparent is so much better than the ugliest icon I have ever seen. Thanks!

I agree, I think I would rather have the icon than a blank space.
Edit, if you would like the Icon to show up again, you can flash this. https://www.dropbox.com/s/5m65fmsn382bfrx/Nfc-Icon.zip

Could we just delete the PNG that is the icon? Would that still leave the blank space?

Never tried but I assume it would lead to more of a force close type situation
