Sooo yeah here is what I made. It's normal binder size so it fits in my backpack, and the keyboard works great with BlueKeyboard JP Pro. I just modified the binder by removing the pockets and adding the kickstand in back.

I would imagine it may be some time before we see something like that. With all the tabs coming out, manufacturers will be picking the big ticket items and making them for those. Until viewsonic fixes issues and makes this thing hot outta the box, we're still gonna be little fish in the big pond.

Xjarl, I would be more interested in a protective wrap around silicone case. I will buy one the second they are available.

I did get word that here are in the process of being made/designed and I have had pics for a week or so. Among other things, I choose NOT to bring things up until I have firm knowledge and/or have an them in hand that I can unload. For example; I don't want to say that I MAY have more docks within the week and them not show. I think it's better (and more respectful) to discuss it when it's in hand.
If your like me (and most of you are) when you see something that you want, especially something new and innovative, you WANT IT NOW!!! I am the same way and I'd rather not give false hope to anyone here.
With that being said feel free to pass the word and keep an ear to the ground. I am currently working on more docks (with extra ac adapters) and a verity of cases; leather with and without snaps as well as the 'shell' encasing that you saw above.
Again, I prefer to keep things quiet and to not have to keep up with PM's (and potentially lose any) and to not risk putting my foot in my mouth.
With that being said, I will make it public knowledge AS SOON as I have ANY product in hand that you may want. Also, as of right now; I strictly plan on selling anything I receive at my cost to XDA members. I'm not here to make any profits but only to contribute where I can. If I can't develop or help solve programming issues at least I can front some money and get stuff here for us.

I am working to get anything and everything possible here is the states. From what I know those 'shell' cases aren't complete yet. I have a couple of docks and I am expecting a few leather (or PU) cases in a couple weeks. I try to lay low until I actually have firm knowledge or something in my hand as not to create false expectation.

I would love one of those plastic shell cases. Whoever is working on these ought to consider putting some type of stand in the case, similar to the Archos 101.

Which one are you using? Most of them haven't been recoded to fit the new screen resolution. Like mine. The one I'm using hugs the left side of the screen.
That is what I am using also. No arrows on mine. I wouldn't mind them though. I like having all of the punctuation on the main dial pad. I will just use this until it is reworked

i think were gonna have to all come together and try to do it ourselves... i read that he's not gonna advance the ime mod anymore in his kitchen... im assuming we could find someone with the right knowledge to jump on it and make a fix. i gave it a shot but i have no idea where to start....
Gimpsta mentioned Smart keyboard pro to me, say that its like the Imod. also mentioned that its customizable(just not as easy) i've been using it and it really is the closest its gonna get. i hope this is able to satisfy the masses

I really loved the HTC IME keyboard too, but Thumb Keyboard is a great replacement. You don't have quite the customization options you did with the IME mod but you have several themes to choose from, and my favorite, a quick smiley face option....because I love em and use em a ton!!
It costs a little bit, but I got it when it was free on the Amazon AppStore. I'm sure you could find it on 4shared.com or something though, I get full apps on there all the time.

Does this Work on our 3vo's?
Is there any update on this? I am looking for the Original Evo keyboard the keyboard with the arrows. I cant seem to get the HTC IME.apk from the old Evo to work on my 3D. If someone has a working version for the 3D or could make it I would be very greatful!

I would definitely buy a Speck case. IMO, Speck and Incipio make the best cases, regardless of device. I had a Speck on my Dinc and always recommend Speck cases for my friends' iPhones, iPads, MacBook Airs and MacBook Pros. They know how to make a great case with plenty of protection that is still slim and provides easy use of buttons.
Don't forget to use your 3 votes on the speck forum's post to bump it up, guys!

Problem is, I don't think EVERY prime owner uses this website. And from the responses here, it looks like this idea will be futile lol.
Nice case. Would be great to have a similar case for Prime.
Don't like the ones that we have now.. They make it thick and take to much space and the Prime original feel and look are gone because of the weird ways that the cases are done to hold, attached to Prime.

Nothing against the current offerings of cases, but they really aren't the best quality, and a lot of them are the same product sold under different brand names.
Since the time I ordered my nexus I always had the curiosity to find out the different ways by which I could customize my nexus 6. And I am glad I bought the teak wood skinnova skin from gadgetshieldz. I have purchased this skin after bad experiences in the past from other manufacturers. But this one has surpassed them all. Right from the precise cuts of NEXUS and MOTO to the feel on the back this skin is as good as it can get and you cant ask for anything better. The packaging was also very good and this skin comes with a free screenguard which makes it even better. The skin has absolutely no trouble when used with a case being either tpu or a hard back case. I would love to see a bamboo wood skin in the list. I did order screen guards from gadgetshieldz earlier but from here on the skins also add to my shopping cart from them.

I understand where you are coming from. I just mentioned it because there are many duplicate OP's floating around but I don't have any issue with it I just wanted to point it our in case you didn't see it. Its good to see other skins getting g reviewed beside the dominate 2 (dbrand and SW) which I wrote about. I'm interested in giving these a try as well now.
