Well, according to the samsung vibrant FAQs, yes bluetooth stereo headsets are supported (A2DP, AVRCP).
i'm still shopping for one myself, but i heard that those and the s9-HDs are good but i think motorola is now up to s10.
i'm also looking for a stereo headset, and i'm stuck in between the BlueAnt Q2 and Samsung Modus 3500.

Ok Thanks. Yea I found them somewhere for like 35$ if.I.find the link again ill post it up

I have this one, was only ~ $40
http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Modus-HM3500-Bluetooth-Headset/dp/B003Z5DP72
It supports stereo through any 3.5mm headphone jack enabled device or via a2dp.

I have the S9, non HD, and love them. I was going to upgrade to the S10 but I actually read somewhere that they aren't as good as the S9, so I'm sticking with what I got. I got them for like $40 from newegg.

Just use the one that came with the phone and plug in headphones of your choice.
Please refer to the accessories section of the X10 forums for more information. This is why no one is answering you; it has been discussed.
I use the only good thing from my n97 mini. The headphone, mic set. Very good sound. Buttons dont work tho, but bass is phenomenal. Ear bud type.

These are fantastic ear buds. Have been using them since 2008. They added the mic when the iPhone 3GS was announced, so they do work with mobile devices. I haven't tested them on the x10 since the pair I own were purchased before the mic was added, but I am pretty sure they would work without any problems.

Might want to check out Zagg's site as they have their ear buds on sale for like half price. I hear they are comparable too Bose ear buds. I use a Motorola bluetooth stereo headset. Its awesome but the max volume is a bit low for my taste.

Earpiece with mic

Can anyone confirm that you plug in ear piece with mic? Does the mic work using the gtalk. I don't think my is working.

yes, it works with any iphone compatible headset... i've used my Astro A30's to make video calls on the TF
Mine does not work either. Neither in Skype nor in GTalk. It acts like there isn't a mike in the headset and uses the built-in mike. Same head-set/mic works on iphone and Galaxy S phone and on Galaxy-Tab...
What ROM are you running? I can confirm it indeed works. Built my own splitter cable so that I could use a separate mic and earphones with it.
Thanks!

Update: 2011/06/21 ---------- RMA'd my transformer due to the headset connection mic not working---
Received the new unit today and the mic port works great... I guess they've been in a bit of a hurry to get these eee pads out the door... Thank you to newegg for responding quickly and no charge.
Cheers, hope this is useful to you all, if it's broken, get it replaced, a.s.a.p.

It's work great with my JLAB jbubs J3M.

..Gtalk and Skype. And the Bluetooth Motorola S10-HD works too
As I hate earpieces in general, especially when using them for prolonged time.
Do anyone have a suggestion for a good headset with normal padded ear-muffs (unsure what they are called in English)?
The alternative might be to buy 3.5mm headset/mic to 3.5mm adapter (2xTRS to TRRS) and use one of my existing PC based headsets. Found one - see http://www.amazon.co.uk/Steel-Serie...GY/ref=sr_1_50?ie=UTF8&qid=1307990319&sr=8-50

[Q] How is your bluetooth headset sound?

Hi,
I didn't see anyone complain about their bluetooth headset audio quality, so this might just be my issue with my jawbone II. The jawbone is about 2 years old, so not the top of the line, but I get a lot of hissing and noise when using it. Is that just my jawbone, or is that typical of bluetooth headsets?
I thought it was digital, so should be pretty good?
Thanks.
Blueant [email protected], and T1 are clear as day
I use my moto s9-hd. No problems here.

I have a Jawbone icon and era and they both sound great.
No problems here either.

Blueant Q1 and Moto S10-HD both sound fine.
Plantronics voyager pro+ here and its crystal clear. I talk on the phone a ton and it works great except for occasionally dropping the connection and reverting to the phone...spent all day on the phone friday and it happened a few times. Other than that no issues.

Had a rocketfish headset that sounded great and worked well for a couple months. But, you get what you pay for. After about 4 months it stopped holding a charge.

Beats?

Hi,
I have beats by dre and the buttons that came with the wired are similar to the Samsung headphones. What I mean by that is that they both feature volume up and down and the button for switching tracks and answering calls.
However, my problem is that the button in the middle for switching tracks etc works but the volume up and down don't?
Is there a solution for this?
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda premium
Yeah.... Just burst it open and switch the small cables until it works then screw it back together again. OR you could cut the wire on both samsung earpiece and beats, just switch them around so you got samsung buttons with beats headphones attached, simple!

It's not a problem exclusive to beats though, i think many 3 button headphones have trouble working with android devices. Maybe if you'd care to share a pair that work without problems, the OP would consider them if the issue is bugging him that much, telling him to 'buy proper headphones' doesnt really help him.
I have beats also and the volume up and down buttons dont work, but it's not a major issue for me. I downloaded
Headset Button Controller from the google play store, it allows you to control everything using just the single button (double tap skips to next track, triple tap goes to previous track etc) works well..

My cousin bought those, the sound quality is extremely poor.
Flat and tinny, bass is non existent.
For that kind of money you could get high quality headphones.
I got sennheiser HD 202's for around 30 euro.

Yeah I have sennheiser cx300 ear buds. £14:100%. Mate compared them to similar beats earbuds. Suffice to say the beats owner wasn't happy with the results

I have those too! I use them for when I'm out and about and the hd202's for around the house.
I think they are great quality and very reasonably priced!
When you buy beats 99% of the price is for the logo.
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda premium
I've got the Pro's and they're really good! Not saying that for the same price you don't get way better one's, but they are really good for trance music. I would have got something else instead, but they were a gift.
Got the same problem with the 3 button cable. Also the mic is not working properly, making funny issues.
I just use the simple cable with no button.
I have been looking for a adaptor from iphone made headphones to others, but none that work for the s3...

Yeah they're good for the price. Its pretty hard to distort them. I think if you Mix poweramp, full bass and any Hybrid track though, you're in trouble. But they do me.
Bit gutted, got up on the bus, caught the chord on the seat and ripped the left out of my ear. Must have strained the connection as the left is only 75% volume compared to the right
Beats is a marketing gimmick
thanks

Stereo Speaker System with GNote dockability?

i'm looking for a Stereo Speaker System with GNote dockability.
ie: something similar to the iCraig tower speaker which you can plug an iPhone into. now that my GNote is my primary audio device, i'd like a stereo system that can hook up to it.
tx --- art. :good:

I think Panasonic has one but it's more of a dock/clock radio style not really a stereo. Search Android dock on Google.

For the money those are hard to beat. I had a set in the garage for awhile until I upgraded the stereo system in the house and the old one came to the garage.
If your looking to play one source then those speakers are great bang for the buck. But if your wanting multiple inputs, then a regular sound system will work that you can use a 3.5mm to RCA (head phone jack to red white plugs).
