When I upgraded my black Streak I used QDL to get to 305, then d/l'ed the updated to 318 right on the phone. My understanding is that I can't do that on a white streak - I have to use QDL to update to 318. How do I get QDL to take me to 318 instead of 305?

this is my first time trying to unlock a phone, and i didn't fully understand the instuctions and installed the DCD 3.0.1 rom on my BELL MOBILITY 6800 before the radio.
Now when i boot i am stuck on the blue "bell" screen.
Can someone help me solve this issue?

Put the phone in bootloader and flash the radio.

There is the link for the radio you need. After that you should be fine.

I'm running ChunkyDroidROM, which is a really lite version of windows mobile, and darkstone froyo android. I looked around in windows mobile a bit, but I couldnt figure out how to check which radio version I had.
How can I find this?
Settings --> About Phone --> Software Version (If you are running Manila)
Else when you boot up bottom of the white/black screen says "R" with some numbers after that.
Hi All,
Just received what I'm assuming is the 7740 update on my Telstra HTC Mozart, but when installing the update it fails and I get a 80180008 error.
I've re-installed Zune, reset the phone to defaults etc but the update won't install.
Any suggestions?

Hi All,
Just letting you know that I fixed my issue.
I ended up downloading and installing the Telstra branded ROM from this thread - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=915827 then worked through all the updates and the latest HTC update worked, no error.
Not sure why but anyway I now have internet sharing on my Mozart - happy camper!

hello i wanting to flash my lumia 920 yellow i brought outright from telstra and the idiots decided load telstra branding in it i've read abit about flashing but i don't know exactly what to do and which firmware to get to get rid of the branding.
if nothing can be done, i'll take the lumia back and get it somewhere else (i brought it today)

The only permanent branding is the splash screen. Apps can be removed, so can the lock screen wallpaper.
However, the splash screen is not so permanent, because you can simply flash your phone to a generic Australian ROM.

Follow that tutorial. In Navifirm+ search for Lumia 920 and choose Lumia 920 (RM-21) because that's the version you'll have.
1232.5957.1308.3 is the release you're after and choose RM-821 VAR AU CV Yellow and the tutorial will show you the rest.
